- Hi folks, in this weeks video I show how I sewed up Raglan Blouse with Shoulder Yoke & Gathered Sleeve details. I absolutely love how this has turned out 🖤♥️🖤 so much so that I’ve already been experimenting with the design/fabric and I’m loving the results. All being well I'll get some pics taken and post them to Instagram👌👍👌 I hope that the video helps those of you that are thinking of sewing up something similar and that you enjoy. Susanne 💕

Fabric - Outer - Georgette - Textile Centre - sold out
Stitch length used - shortest 1.8mm, standard 2.5mm, longer 3-4mm, longest 5mm, 3mm paired with a size 70 sharps needle.

Try Pattern Making Made Easy By Connie Amaden Crawford. I haven’t gotten this book yet but I think it does just that. I have others books from her and they’re great. Used many of them in Fashion Design Courses.

As much as I looooove watching your videos and always look forward to the upcoming ones.... it would be really nice to see some different content apart from the sewing videos.
Including but not limited to:
1) few tutorials and drafting methods(as you do quite advance level sewing)
2) QnA videos (related to your sewing videos)
3) When and how to select different types of seam closures (French/flat felled etc) and neck finishings......

I searched on line for a similar pattern,but failed miserably. Please could you do a " draft a long " for the pattern. I even have some fabric all ready and waiting !

She did a video called something like Top 5 Resources for Improving Dressmaking Skills, and it involved print resources if I remember correctly. Lots about patterning and fitting, not just sewing skills :)
