Happy Friday, Sewing Friends! I wanted to make sure I get this video out before V-day, because this would make such a wonderful and thoughtful gift, OR make one for yourself!
I'm a guy who opens a brand of clothes and sew suits myself.I’m from another language country , but I understand you better than videos on my language on UA-cam=) Ty so much ❤️
That was very useful and handy way to cut that sweat shirt. Thanks again from T&T IN THE CARIBBEAN. Love your bubbly attitude my dear. Gives anyone a pleasure watching your videos. Blessed weekend to you.
Diana and Arlene, you are amazing! I am always happy to see your comments! Greetings to you as well from TN, USA. Have a wonderful week and happy sewing!
Found your channel over the weekend when I was trying to see how shoulder seams work. Was able to bring the seams up on a sweatshirt and it turned out perfectly, subscribed and loving the content!
heyyy 16 and i’m saying hello for the first time but i’ve been watching your videos and you give me sooo many ideas and have helped me learn more n more about sewing. I’ve also been learning ideas n diffrent art pieces for clothes and a bunch of ideas for over a year now to get a huge understanding about the designer industry
I, too, haven't sewn in years, so have been getting back into it with a few bags and masks. I have a few ideas for using well loved clothes to copy for patterns. It's going to help. Thanks.
Thank you! You made it so simple to do my own raglan pattern. I have struggled with making a raglan t shirt before....It didn't turn out well. I am going to try yours really soon. Thanks for uploading.I have seen your previous raglan sleeve tutorial but daren't try it. This time I will.
I have been subbed and watching for awhile. I enjoy your videos so much. I have not sewn in a long time. 3 machines and server just crying to be used. I also knit. I love vintage and refashion sewing and knitting. But today you have inspired me to go back to creating my own patterns and sew up a few tunic type tops to wear with my yoga pants at that gym.
April, hi!!! Oh I bet your sewing machines will be super happy to see you :) so great to hear that you got your spark back. Was the sewjo gone, or just busy life and no time? I knit as well, but super simple, nothing to brag about, he he. I am excited for you - raglan sleeves are super easy and quick to sew up and AND perfect for the gym.
Hi Alisa, thanks for your video. Even though I’ve sewed a few garments, I still class myself as a beginner as I don’t do it very often, and I’ve avoided making my own patterns. I just find it a bit daunting. I’ve watched a few of your videos and after watching this one, I’m going to give it a try and see how I get on!!
Hi i loveeee watching your videos! I been teaching myself how to sew since last December! Your videos have been so helpful to break down steps for me to understand. I plan on doing this tutorial today! Thank you thank you woot woot I am excited
I found your channel when I was working on drafting a raglan shirt pattern from a raglan tee. I could not match the neckline as bodice was from a knit pattern and collar was from woven pattern. Thank you for the tips 😉 now it looks perfect 👌🏼
Ah, yes! Great that you got it figured out. By the way, you're not alone, neckline are difficult for a lot of people, especially with knits. This one is a good video with tips on how I get a perfect neckband every time. And the t shirt I made in this video was for my dad :) ua-cam.com/video/fc7V1N7PqRE/v-deo.html
Its not exactly a manly hobby but hey... If I get to make my own clothes and know Im the only 1 person in the world wearing it..... Its well worth it... Thats why i got into sewing...
i want to add a highneck on my raglan full sleeves shirt, like its not differently attatched to a shirt but a neck which is in the shirt, how am i going to add a pattern in that

@@ThoughtfulCreativity thank you for tips! Will check it out 💯
Love this! By the way, love your new 'studio', especially the fact that the pile on the shelf behind you looks like a little hat...e.g. 1.26min 😉
