Another beautiful re-imagining of furniture. I would like to thank you for showing other paint options besides chalk/mineral paint! Enamels have been a go-to when I am painting things like kitchen cabinets, bookcases and tables. Beautiful looking furniture !! The black is fitting so well with the classic look off the side and coffee tables witch i was not expecting ! So a great surprise as always and you must have the way you want to change the furniture already in your head before even starting. That is a proof off your fine taste to transform furniture ! Wow. I never would have come up with painting the cane a light color. I probably would have painted it all the same color. You have great vision into how to handle upgrading those tables. ...my mom has some very similar to those.
12:02 Katie I LOVE this transformation! I live in Florida and this is a modern way to reinvent this style furniture that is so popular here. In fact my first apartment had this coffee table and end tables in a bright tropical yellow/green color in 1980! Lol!

I like old school furniture and I have been looking for something and I was going to refinish the wood but you might have just inspired me to redo my old furniture.

They turned out beautiful! I just got my Wagner gun yesterday and need to paint a couple side tables with. I'll try this paint on them. The finishing looks great! You also have me the inspiration on what to go with the top. They had a layer of leather in the middle that was damaged and need to take out but it will leave me with a small deep. This cane would look great on it! Thank you for sharing!

My parents had a set of these rectangle coffee and side tables. They had Smokey glass and brass corners protectors. I ended up putting them on Craigslist for free because the thrift store didn’t want them. I’m sure they were made over similarly. Which is what I wanted. Divert them from the landfill. Yours came out awesome.😊

Believe this or not just today I picked the very same sofa table that you are doing here out of my dumpster area !! I was so excited to see your makeover and it was beautiful! I don't know how to send a picture of mine on here. But it's exactly the same. The only difference is mine is missing the glass but I can't wait to start on it! These pieces are lovely Katie. Good to know the orange peel finish will level out with the proper type of paint. I struggled with this on some of my pieces so would revert back to a paint brush.

Boy did they turn out sharp. Those could easily fit in with anything Pottery Barn or Crate & Barrel would sell. And what a bargain at $60.00 for solid wood tables. Better than most of what is being sold at furniture stores today.
