@@FlipItFurniture Lol I have a tiny apartment. Every time I see a cheap piece of furniture I wanna take it home and paint it but I have to remember there's no place to put it haha
Hi Amy these side tables are perfection absolutely gorgeous so smooth I love the white too its as silky as the stained tops I'm sure they would sold with in moments of being put up ,thanks for sharing I loved seeing these flips take care all the best Mary in Australia 🌻
I thought they came out beautifully; so much so, i'm going to try that stain on a project I'm working on. It's a tall thin kitchen bench table with two stools.. that style is gonna be great on it! Love your thoroughness even you paint. You're awesome Amy
Those are almost the exact same tables I bought to redo I just haven't decided how or what color I want yet this gave me a great idea,I love how they turned out ❤️
They are so beautiful!! You did an amazing job.. I was worried when you put that super dark first coat but, it really worked and looks so perfect with the white.. 🤗
I'm watching and watching your videos and I'm afraid to start my first project! I wish to have your experience! But I'll do it!!!!! Thank you for sharing your expertise!!!!
Wow.. love it..can you tell me a little more on the three different whites in the silk..and can u use decoupage and transfers over silk..and if yes do u do a protective coat after...lol..sorry so many questions..I'm new at this..
I always do my tops the very last. That way I can be messy with my paint and after it dries, I sand the tops down and it will sand off paint where I dont want it. It's especially helpful for grooved tops like this. Don't worry about the dust getting on the paint. As long as it's try, you can blow it off after. I have a shop vac that I'll put the hose on the intake end instead and it blows instead of sucks. Makes this entire process way easier.
These turned out really nice! What did yoyr friend think when she saw the end result? I admit I initially disagreed with painting the top edge, I think it should have been stained since it's all 'one piece', but in the end I liked this look as well! Where do you buy your hardware, yours is always very classy looking! I hate the hardware at the big box stores!
I’m working on flipping my first project! A set of wood side tables. I haven’t seen anything comparable in my area to figure out pricing. How do you price your pieces?
I love watching these flip videos, but no one ever shows inside the drawers and how to fix them if they have an issue. Or odors. How do you get the odors out of the drawers?
The tables turned great. The silk paint looks pretty thick. Can you use the water mister to help the paint move easier like you can with regular chalk paint? Also is this Silk paint self leveling?
Thank you! Unfortunately, you can’t use water with it and your brush needs to be dry or you can overwork the paint. The good thing is it's self-leveling🙂
Hopefully she cleaned them off camera or her friend that started them cleaned them before handing over. I think she went about the top painting the wrong way. It would be better to paint all the item including the top, edge first and then sand the edge of the top where any paint got on it then stain.
I didn’t clean it first because I had it outside to sand. I cleaned it afterward. I had to clean it anyway again to get all the sawdust off. I could’ve sanded and stained the edges around the top but this look is very popular right now and I knew it would sell right away.
They look so nice, very pretty.
Girl. I was on the edge of my seat when you were painting without a drop cloth. That's talent!
The edge part at the end was flawless
That's a very very steady hand you have Amy! The edging looks flawless. You would never know there were glass on the top. They came out great.🌷
From trash to treasure for sure. You did a fantastic job, they look beautiful.
The line between stain and paint is so defined....They are lovely.
Thank you 😊
WOW!! Beautiful!!

I’m going to have to try that silk paint. The finish looks very smooth!
Yes, it's a mineral paint. I've used Dixie Belle Silk, Fusion Mineral Paint, and Beyond Paint Mineral Paint. Such a beautiful, durable surface!
It is smooth! I just ordered the color Hampton Olive. I can’t wait to use it.
Very nice work . Thanx for sharing.

Thanks! Very nice
Muy elegantes, y byautiful 👌👌
Amazing 💐💐💐💐
Great job. What do you do with the applicator after that? Do you sand between coats?
I’m so curious what you sold them for

Lovely
There are about 150 shades of white surprised the hell out of me that there was so many.👍
Very nice
Can you put silk on with a roller and if you can what kind of roller do you recommend? I have a dresser that is all flat and large.
Can I apply this over a piece that already has general finishes topcoat? Thank you

Wouldn’t the dust from the scruffing stick to the wet top if you do it while the top is drying?
Amazing
Would it be better to do the cleaning before you start the rehab on any part of it??
I’m working on flipping my first project! A set of wood side tables. I haven’t seen anything comparable in my area to figure out pricing. How do you price your pieces?
Hello! Do you paint under the tables?
Pretty
Gorgeous, but I would have left the trim in the honey/pine colour.
Hermosos
Great job, what did your friend say?
I love watching these flip videos, but no one ever shows inside the drawers and how to fix them if they have an issue. Or odors. How do you get the odors out of the drawers?
Here’s a video I did on that topic:ua-cam.com/video/4wLlG4RLDhk/v-deo.html

Why don’t you clean the entire piece first? Why didn’t you stain the edges around the top?

@@FlipItFurniture It looks fantastic! I would never have the skill to paint that eging....but I do like the look👏👍💗
Agree. Too risky to clean at the end.
