I sort of agree but that’s the way BMW does things. You would think updated I drive offered on lci models would be updated with the lci refresh... not so. I had an issue with that when I bought my old e92 lci m3 comp, same with my older f10 m5, and the same is true with my current m6 comp. it’s annoying.
Do you find the accelerator pedal too close to the centre trim? And the brake pedal too close to the accelerator? I tested one and I have quite large feet but found I kept hitting either the both pedals at the same time or hitting the trim to the right of the accelerator to miss the brake pedal
Just got a M4 ZCP, I agree with all of your points. It's also annoying that the CS has so many improvements on the Competition pack, which is already better than the base M4. The stock exhaust is pretty bad as well. These complaints aside, I'm still loving my M4!
First thanks for following me and congrats for your new N4 ZCP it is a great car really! CS is not so comfy at all and I still think the ZCP is the best deal. I wish BMW be more consistent with their tech updates. Yes stock M4 exhaust sounds mediocre
Personally I think that the current M4 is the best looking BMW ever..whish I could have one.. I settled for the M2 which is great also but doesn't look as cool..
I've only had mine for 11 weeks so I haven't had much time to be annoyed by many things, but one thing that got me from day 1 is the ridiculous requirement that it be in gear when you turn the car off - with DCT only of course, I loaned a F80 the other day and it began honking the horn REALLY loudly when I tried to lock it because it wasn't in P mode! I just turned the ignition off and exited the car, you put it in damn P mode!
You also mentioned the M Performance parts, I also think there's a load of 'extras' which should be standard on the M car. Extended leather around the dash should be standard, the M heads up display absolutely should be standard, CF trim should be standard, this is the top-of-the-line premium car, you really shouldn't have to pay more to make the dashboard not plastic in it.
U see I’m not really annoyed as much as I think that some options and parts should be standard. I tend to engage N before parking than put the handbrake never had issue, try it out bro
I totally agree with you, I was at the dealership today in Vancouver to get the 2020 M340i, and I ended up with around 74k just for adding additional options that I wanted, But I still feel they're hiding some parts and features for the after purchase , but hey! it's a unique machine and we have to deal with it right?
That’s way too much dough for a non “M” car. I hope for that price it’s a Bavarian model and NOT manufactured in Mexico. Gotta watch those tricky BMW folk these days.
NIce video thanks, so i understand your point about the production times and missing on options (such iDrive) but that is quite common with many manufacturers, there is always a new feature to be introduced every Make year model and that usually in Q3 (July) every year. second point on the M Perf. parts indeed its a pure marketing/sales strategy, but you can always check aftermarket cosmetic parts (not exhaust, etc. of course) but i really think these guys start with the design with all parts on then they start to strip them off :) to make more money. Recently visited Dubai and was hoping I’d see you driving around 😜 To add to your list, when you not in sport plus mode on the engine, I don’t like the fact that the engine cuts out when stopped. I know you can disable it every time you start the car, but why can’t you permanently disable it in the iDrive settings?

These are all valid points, Especially the part about the upgrades for same year models, and the interior of the BMW's. I owned an Alpina B7 2017 model and they upgraded the I drive January of 2018... it's very irritating
Thank u, yeah it’s annoying to know that the car vibes with bare exterior and interior upgraded. As for Idrive man at least new models can upgrade but older models from 05-07 they can’t they need to change the whole system which really an expensive thing to do.
Enjoy that fake engine noise in park garage, because in the open there is nothing to show for, don’t kid yourself man, trade it ASAP for a Gt350 and you’d love it.

No Steven it is fine actually the aerodynamics of the car are so good better others. But I am medium sized dude so I am not sure was big you are :)
