The F82 M4 is one of the best looking cars ever made (and the best looking M car IMO). Video doesn’t do these cars justice, both in the sound and looks department.
I agree! still holding that aggressive shape and I am not sure if any other M car is close to this. in real life as you said it is looker and sounds very good especially the competition package

Definitely prefer the C63s and have 1. Interior is miles ahead and same w exhaust. M4 looks great though and has great handles. C63s has very under rated handling, its a Dtm winner. C63s for me. Enjoy.

SeniorLeb I had a 2012 face lift p31, now own a 2018. Almost specd out a 19 face lift but didnt feel like waiting on it to be built.
Cool i like the facelift a lot, with new Dash, New Aero Package, New grill, bumper and bigger middle screen and of course the new steering Wheel! it is just wow

i have a c63s coupe and i'm a fan of the m3/m4. Is it better? well depends on who you ask and if they're a bmw fan or an amg fan. They may compete with each other but they're very different car... I can't say anything about the m3/m4 since I haven't drove it for a while.. For me I don't track so which one is faster is irrelevant to me as they are neck and neck. Also, driving on public roads you can never get to the limits of the c63s and m3/m4. The 7 speed mct in amg is fine for me actually, it doesn't upshift in m mode and only downshift to avoid lag. I don't find it laggy when driving but only laggy at low speed 20mph to 30mph. When pushing hard the gear box is amazing imo. I know people who switch to c63s coupe from m3/m4 and think it's that much better and like wise.. So it really depends on the person and what they want/like. So is the m3/m4 better? that question is a yes and a no. If you're happy with your baby, then it's the better car for you. Btw, you should try to test drive the facelift c63s coupe. I heard the new transmission is much better. Anyway, enjoy your m4 in good health! it's a beautiful machine!

Well said! I have the 2019 c63s. Personally, I already concede that M4 is probably a better racing car. It's faster and more agile to handle. I love the Mercedes because I love its appearance (luxurious, yet incredibly masculine) as well as it's amazing interior. It's like driving an amazingly luxurious wrecking ball with that V8. As you said, both are amazing cars, and it's completely up to the driver's preference.
I think people were disappointed about the sound of the F80 not because it was bad, it wasn't just as good as the E90 M3 and E46 M3. A M3 was always a step up compared to its predecessor in terms of performance and sound. Starting with the E30 M3 with it's 200 hp 4 cylinder to the E36 with a 286/321 hp 6 cylinder, the glorious E46 with 343 hp (that had a really unique sound) and finally the E90 M3 with it's high revving V8 and 420 hp. Than came the F80, it had no gain in power, sounded weaker and had 2 cylinders less. People were just disappointed without recognizing the new M3/M4 is a proper M car, that's faster and more agile with less fuel consumption and emissions.
Very good said, M cars are not really known in my opinion to have the best sounding exhausts compares to the amg, but why each new generation they are getting better than ever. The F80 is beast and in my opinion it is the best looking M car ever and the way it drives is what makes it so special.
Comming from a bmw lover, (i owned a 2007 and 2012 335i M sport) i can honestly say you won’t regret the c63s amg, i was going to buy the m3 but it was lacking something, sure it was fun to drive but the c63s is a beast, whole another level, the exhaust, interior, comfort, I wanted it to be my daily, but test drive all the cars and see which one keeps a smile to your face. Both cars are equally beautiful regardless in their own ways
Bro with all due respect the pure M cars are much different than standard BMW cars. I suggest you should drive one and maybe you would like it more. I’m a huge fan of the new c63 facelift version it’s a brilliant car for sure. Yes agree it’s very subjective both cars are still best in class

the M4 sound is the weak point for sure. the handling is a huge strength. I have owned at least 3 BMWs, even my old 6 series V8 sounds much better than the M4 competition. ALso the gear box on the M4 is amazing. The steerting feel is terrible.

No not all still the best color I’ve got the far really it’s a great color and never get bored from it :)

I’ve heard that the 2019 models have updated springs for ride comfort that helps the car be more comfortable I need to test it to see if it’s relevant

Hey mate that’s correct also I tried to mention that a lot to people who asks me why did u get the M4, one of the reasons the RS5 was not a contender for me is because i live in the desert and it doesn’t rain at all maybe few days a year the AWD doesn’t Benifit me much also I like balance of front engine and RWD I love the RS5 but it’s too serious for me I guess it’s just the suspense I’m looking for :) congrats on new car I’ve reviewed the RS5 in a different video please check it out and tell me what do u think about that color combo.
SeniorLeb I live in Cali so everyone here has an m4 and c63. Don’t see too many rs5s and I like that they bring a lot here. All 2019s are already sold out.
I’m a bmw guy too. Had an m3 coupe and 440i m package. The m4 comp package is nice! Not a huge fan of c63 but they’re growing on me.

Pavlos C63 is way better driving experience than the RS5 but the BMW is probably sits on top. GTR is super nice too and crazy fast I agree

M sports Plus most of the time, the M performance Exhaust is very expensive here and not worth the upgrade. once ur car is over 3000 KM it will open and will sounds even better

Wrong. C63 is just as much if not more of a drivers car. It also sounds better and is way more comfortable and has a way better looking interior.
Great video 👌🏽👌🏽. Haven’t been in the m3/m4 but I’ve been in the c63 s. I would really wanna go in the m4 to see if it has that same thrust and push in the seat as the c63 s does. I find would find it very hard to believe the m4 is faster because that power plant in the merc has so much power. I’m a huge m4 fan but I think the c63 s is a package. The interior, the v8 rumble, the torque, the classy design, etc. Let me know what you think...

There is 500-600 LB difference in the C63S coupe and the M4. Yes you can definitely feel the difference driving the two models. Not saying the Merc isn’t capable because it is. Hitting corners or the track and the M4 shines.

The C63 S has so much more torque than the M4 but M4 is much lighter as @abcfitness mentioned and you will feel it off the line, entering a curve and in breaking! still as talked about in this video I am really considering the facelift because I think it looks so good and the tech inside is astonishing, so the idea is a total package and not just speed u know
Agree M4 much lighter but C63 is a great for daily driving I think you will be able to enjoy it a lot especially in low gears
Matt M4 is shown to be faster in a race or a lets say in normal driving with lost of twists but the C63 for 200 KM destroys all the competition not the acceleration though
Hi buddy, glad I found your channel. This year's been tough for me as I sold my beloved m4 because of the numerous interior noises inside the cabin. Rattles, clicks, squeaks were everywhere. After dealing with the dealership, and was unhappy about the result. I decided to trade in the m4 for an RS5 which should be delivered in april next year. Do you think I will lose a lot in terms of driving experience? I Would like to hear your comments on the comparison of the RS5 and m4. Thanks.
Hey Yusong! Welcome to my channel dude. I am sorry to hear that your M4 had some issues with the sound isolation and built quality! which model was that? I think after 2016 the cars where much better than the 1st cycle, congrats on the new RS5 it is a beast of a car for sure and super well built! but it didn't give the engagement as M driver so I didn't consider it after all, I have reviewed the new RS5 in details please check the video and let me know what do you think! plz press the notification bell and subscribe
@@CarswithB thanks for your reply. The M4 I bought was built in March 2018. As you said, it's supposed to be better built given that it is almost the end of this generation's life cycle. The plastic frames on centre console and the area near the gear shifter was squeaky, and there was a LOUD rattling noise from the inside of the dash which I would probably never find out what it is. I've talked to several M3/4 owners here in Australia, seems like its just a common problem here. I'm glad that it didn't happen to your car, because the car is just so good apart from that. It feels alive on twist roads and it barks to the redline like a beast.
What concerns me with the RS5 is its driving nature. I have watched your video on the RS5 and I found you didn't really mention the understeering feeling. Do you think they have dialed this annoying tendency out of this generation of RS5? or it's still there, only not that obvious as before.

I see so that is supposed one of the latest patches, I think the major issue with the F80's is the central console area bit in most the car is super isolated and quiet and better than the C Coupe by miles mate! I think maybe u were not so lucky u should have complained and maybe asked me I would have told u to get a replacement for ur car.
As for the RS5 I only mentioned it little once I was driving over 100-120 km over along curve, in daily driver normal speed u wont feel it at all. yes u are right they did certainly improves it to a very good extent. I would recommend to get the deposit back and get the c63s facelift...

every BMW almost looks the same. plus the interior is really low quality. and they have a lot of engine issues. i know with the M3 the bolts were breaking a lot because they couldnt deal with the power, lots of engine failures. the DSG is not reliable. overall quality is poor with bmw, not reliable. mercedes IMO is better at everything. looks better, better quality, better sound, power is pretty much equal considering c63 weighs over 500 pounds more. m4 is quicker and more agile but c63 has more brute force

@@CarswithB i know the really high end bmws are well made. But compare a stock m3 or m5 to a stock c63 and there's a huge gap imo. I'm not even bringing up Audi because they are even better. So unless you really get yourself the high end BMW 7 or 8 then you are kind of stuck with average interior. Granted they are not as expensive but still. It can't cost BMW 20k per car to upgrade the interior. It always looks so outdated. The steering wheel itself in the m1 coupe or the m3 or m5 looks horrendous imo. It doesn't fit the car at all. The AC hasn't changed in 40 years. It still looks the same. I don't know why they don't upgrade that stuff. You're paying 70k or so for a car and then you get in and you feel like you are sitting in a stock 3 series from 1985.

@@MLGSU5P3CT Sorry my friend but you are wrong. I'm not here to debate but only state facts. Back in the day M cars were better on the track than AMG's but those days are long gone my friend. AMG's are now much better track cars than M cars, the Mercedes c63s lap time on the Nurburgring is 7:44.1 and the m4 did a lap time of 7:52. Also AMG is has more than 4 cars in the top 20 on that ring and Bmw don't have any cars that even break into the top 50. I'm not here to debate like a fan boy but only stating actually facts.

@@MLGSU5P3CT I'm sorry Bmw m4 gts breaks in the top 50 at number 47. With a lap time of 7:27 and Mercedes has a top 10 car with the AMG GT R and have 5 AMG built cars ahead of it. You can easily look it up yourself my friend. Bmw fastest track car is the Bmw m4 Gts and it's 47th at the Nurburgring and the normal m4 this guy has isn't in the top 100.

Read reviews from car journalists and pros. They all say the column mounted paddles are best. Main reason is when you’re more than 1 turn in the wheel it’s very difficult to know which is the up and down shift unless they’re fixed on the column. I completely agree with you for normal town driving it doesn’t matter either way.
I agree with Hitlen tough Ahmad, but BMW do it for reasons mate, I like the Alfa paddles much more than my M4! Turning and using paddle shifter no no! u dont do that :) use the gear shifter but for normal and high speeed racing it works just fine
