criminalize ranch! Exactly, they are unable to detect the fact he's being intellectually dishonest hence; they're dummies. They see a guy that talks fast and is emotionless and they acquainte that with intelligence.
Kyle, you completely dropped the ball on the VA issue. First of all I believe in a single payer system, just so there is no confusion. I am a veteran and I have hard evidence of gross corruption all through the VA and VHA, at least with my personal experiences. And on a side note I was a Fox News, talk radio sicafant until I came across your videos. So, thank the universe for you Kyle. You are the best of the best on youtube. I have to drive 230 miles round trip to get an xRay. If you care to hear the bad stuff PM me or something. This is the first comment I've ever posted, so I don't know how it works, provided you read and care to engage on a better platform. Keep up the good work and props on 500K. Should be 10 million. We need to 'fix" the corporate entertainment media.
The best way to reach him is through twitter but even there I'm sure there's a lot of comments to sift through so there's a chance yours might not get noticed. It's still better than reaching via youtube though
The issues that keep me up at night are both healthcare and foreign policy. The fact that we have 45,000 people that die every year because they don’t have healthcare keeps me up as well as the US’s disastrous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that have killed hundreds of thousands of people
Holy shit, I'm not the only one that gets nightmares about being back in school. And often times that portion of the dream ends with me saying fuck this shit, I don't need it. Why am I wasting time with school when I'm already past this. Weird shit, man.
Kyle admits to favoring the Pokemon elite. He is bought and owned by Big Pokemon, and cannot be trusted to give us objective coverage of Pokemon policy.
Money in politics is such an important issue, because other key issues can't be solved as long as politicians are in the pockets of donors that don't want them solved.
Let me guess before watching the video. Single Payer Healthcare. A close second. Government spending on superfluous wars and other unneeded stuff. Edit: Whoops, he said Donald Trump.
LOL, nice to see another side of Kyle’s personality! It’d be cool to see these videos every few months or so. I didn’t know how much he hates colleges and teaching classes. I would say that space exploration and artificial intelligence are important things that keep me up at night (in a good, hopeful manner, I mean; as in I am looking forward to it).
Americas shitty health care system is what keeps me up at night. Car exhaust alone results in at least a hundred thousand American deaths a year, not to forget millions of health problems. Our prisons are mostly filled with people who use drugs and not people who harm others. Our k-12 schools have the largest class sizes in American history. We have been at war nonstop for 70 years. Our grocery stores are filled with unhealthy foods, 50% of which gets tossed out. Corporations are wasting destroying our water everywhere. Lakes all over the country are turning green and various types of deadly bacteria pop up. Over the last month thousands of people died from flooding alone. The government thinks its more important to spy on Americans than to actually solve any important problems. But yeah North Korea, I'm SO worried...
The only problem i have with the "libertarian left" label is that libertarians, on social issues, are still semi conservative. For instance they think gay rights and abortion should be a states-issue. So if a state refuses gay people marriage or if a state refuses abortion access for women, they're cool with it. They also want to end the civil rights act because they think businesses should be able to discriminate. It's essentially saying that any form of federal laws for any and all social issues should be completely abolished. And i don't think that's right.
The person that you're describing there sounds more like a constitutionalist, because libertarians despise the State itself, but then again, it could be one of those new brands of libertarians like the left libertarian, that I'm not aware of.
Left libertarianism has existed since the mid-19th century and predates right-libertarianism, look up Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Mikhail Bakunin, Piotr Kroptkin, Emma Goldmann, Rudolf Rocker, Nestor Makhno and the CNT-FAI :P
Kawaiiser-Genosse Wilhelm II von Hohenzollern The contradiction lies in American libertarianism. Having the Private sector control society is authoritarian, leaving no room for democracy.
Yeah, many right-libertarians see too direct democracy (which we are nowhere close to) as the tyranny of the majority over the minority... and it kinda is, which is why I like it: My ideal is "the ultimate democracy for the working class, and the ultimate totalitarianism for class enemies"... You can propably guess my politics from that x) I think the greatest flaw in their ideology is that they have an artificial view of the state and capitalism as opposing forces.
The fact that Trump is president is just a symptom of a larger problem -- anti-intellectualism. That's what keeps me up at night; knowing that there is a sizeable enough group of people that are so against education, merit and the very concept of science that they would choose to vote for someone like Trump. These are the people that the biggest obstacle to solving climate change, money in politics and income inequality because they simply refuse to to trust in science or even listen to intellectuals in the first place.
I've noticed that. I was wondering if people have become dumber in the last 16 years or if I'm just now noticing it because before I was a child with no knowlage of current events. It's incredibly sad and worrying that the people in charge of one of the largest countries in the world activly deny the exsistance of scientifically proven phenomenon. Being young and nieve still, I can't say it keeps me up at night but it is still very troubling.
+Dreamer01 I'd like to believe that people are actually getting smarter. The issue is that The Greatest Generation ended up having so many kids, and the Boomers ended up having so few, that it's takes a very long time for Millennials to get into a position where we actually out-number them. Even then, not enough of us get out and actually vote, but that does seem to be changing at last.
He's referencing a morbidly obese feminist who went into so much of a rage that she passed out in the middle of an audience. She has become a meme that is being passed around the Internet.
Good video, but I think you're wrong on one bit. Libertarian-Left usually refers to Anarcho-Communists and syndicalist-Socialists, not Social Democrats. Of course, the only reason we use ''Left'' Libertarian now, is because the term Libertarian was co-opted by cult followers of Austrian economics in the early 20th century, and it is used as a distinguisher. In the past, ''Libertarian'' usually described Socialists and Communists (not the Bolshevik kind)
Usually that is a symptom of an underlying issue. Of course there is short-term medication but the effective sleeping aids all have certain side-effects. I will never regret ambien but it's not good long-term. With some people it's things like depression that if addressed, will also solve other symptoms such as insomnia. I had insomnia from puberty until 24. Then I started taking an anti-depressant and I sleep like a baby now.
Mewtwo? The coolest Pokemon? My favorite is the Empoleon evolution line, because when Diamond and Pearl came out, that was the first pokemon game I got super into as a kid, and I picked Piplup as my starter, so I got fond memories. Yes, 4th gen was my first, I'm a youngling, and I honestly think the 4th and 5th gen are better than the originals!
Indeed, he described a Social Liberal or Social Democrat, both of which are fairly authoritarian (they advocate for centralized representative democacy, not decentralized direct democracy) and centrist to centre-right on economics.
Mewtwo is cool, but my favorite Pokemon is Feraligatr because the first Pokemon game I played was Gold and I picked Totodile so I have lots of fond memories of Feraligatr

My issue is net neutrality, especially since the independent media isn't covering it very much. Just wait until a few weeks before the FCC tells us their decision. There'll be plenty of time to first, define the complicated topic, & then rally all the people. That'll go great. /s
I have the same nightmare about being back in class for some reason. I keep failing a test and it's holding me back from passing this one class needed to get my diploma. lol (I have it in real life just so you know).
Try having a nightmare about being back in university, but you're forced to take a math class being taught my Lindsey freakin' Graham who immediately makes it all about his fundamentalist christianity. This is legit a nightmare I had last night. It was the exact opposite of fun.
15:17 - That´s an awful definition of libertarian leftism, social issues have nothing to do with it. an issue hasn't kept me up at night since 1998, when the Undertaker threw Mankind off of the Hell in a Cell and through the Spanish announce table
Deathwish Cassidy dude did you know that The undertakers brother , Kaine, is running for Mayor in Knoxville county in Tennessee?
MLG Bernie Sanders why is he wearing a suit?
I just saw this match after seeing your comment... I’m shook
Deathwish Cassidy bawwhhh gawwhdd he killed him!! Somebody stop the damn match!!
That man had a family!!!
I watch Ben Shapiro occasionally because everyone says they're terrified by his excellent debate skills. I learned he's a fast-talking bullshitter with pretty bad arguments, and he only seems smart because he phrases his bad arguments well and talks very fast.
This is precisely what Ben Shapiro is. Well spoken, but just another Bill O'Reily esque conservative
Most conservatives just want the facade of substance and civility. As long as something or someone *looks* good, they're content.
Pikaia Gracilens He's only perceived as "smart" to dummies lol
Dan Mannington I do think he's smart, he's just intellectualy dishonest and projects a lot about his own feelings dealing with facts

Kyle just became more my bro than ever with his Mewtwo answer.
My favourite Pokémon is Gyarados. It evolves from useless Magikarp which gives me hope
You're lucky, Mewtwo is still badass even after all these years.
Yes, but what about Ditto?
What issue keeps me up at night? Easy, it's a financial one...
The issues that keep me up at night are both healthcare and foreign policy. The fact that we have 45,000 people that die every year because they don’t have healthcare keeps me up as well as the US’s disastrous wars in Iraq and Afghanistan that have killed hundreds of thousands of people
Just Iraq and Afghanistan? Have you been watching too much mainstream media, so you missed Obama's wars in Libya, Syria, Yemen, and the Ukraine?
My crippling nihilism
Lanre dude. Same as fuck.
joao santos I’d say we form a support group but then I’d have to care
Lanre I love this comment
When nothing matters you're free to do whatever you want
ASLEEKBLACKFEATHER I think you’re confusing nihilism with narcissism/sociopathy
money in politics is a symptom of a system inadequacy, you can only keep state and private industry separate for so long

One would think academia would be anti-authoritarian, but the very opposite is the case.
Let me guess before watching the video.
Single Payer Healthcare.
A close second.
Government spending on superfluous wars and other unneeded stuff.
Edit: Whoops, he said Donald Trump.
Impatient much? ;)
Yeah, jumped the gun wayyyyyy too soon there. lol
Kyle has objectively good taste, Mewtwo is the shit
Nah m8

Well written comment. This is the greater problem imo as well.
My worst issue is the fact that France exists.
What about Jiggly Puff ;)
SockTaters III what is the joke?
He's referencing a morbidly obese feminist who went into so much of a rage that she passed out in the middle of an audience. She has become a meme that is being passed around the Internet.
I thought it had to do with Kyle's mocking of religion as describing it as "Jigglypuff in space"
Oh wait, is there an actual pokemon named Jiggly Puff? How embarrassing. You can tell that I don't follow the series.
in space ;)
Tellingly, as soom as he said 'The number one issue is the most apparent one', I knew exactly what he was going to say, and why.

Kyle has great taste. Mewtwo all the way.
If anything, I'd say "libertarian conservative" is more of a contradiction than "left libertarian", especially if you're talking about social issues.
Over 500K subscribers, let's keep it up folks! 1MIL FTW!!!

Mewtwo? The coolest Pokemon? Yes, 4th gen was my first, I'm a youngling, and I honestly think the 4th and 5th gen are better than the originals!
Raichu is the GOAT Pokemon.
The biggest problem is the monetary system in itself. Debt and compound-interests.
My favorite is Empoleon. Also love Blastoise and Lucario.
I still have naked dreams about school. I'm 36
What do you think of Bitcoin as a means of eliminating financial institutions? What do you think of Bitcoin overall?
I am a left wing Libertarian, with an emphasis on Libertarian.
Only issue that keeps me up at night is the fact that 21 Savage has a 12 car garage and only has 6 cars.
MewTwo was my favorite as a kid too. I love the idea of telekinesis.
Mewtwo is dope!
Mewtwo's still The Badass of Pokemon
I believe the question about libertarian left was aimed and anarcho syndicalism/communism and/or libertarian socialism
Indeed, he described a Social Liberal or Social Democrat, both of which are fairly authoritarian (they advocate for centralized representative democacy, not decentralized direct democracy) and centrist to centre-right on economics.
For me, the thing that keeps me up at night is the threat of war.
Collective, mainstream ignorance keeps me up at night.
Hell yes, my favorite is Mewtwo as well!
Omg yesss love the blue!
Mewtwo is cool, but my favorite Pokemon is Feraligatr because the first Pokemon game I played was Gold and I picked Totodile so I have lots of fond memories of Feraligatr
What do think about Jordan Peterson?
"What issues keep you up at night?"
"Mewtwo is the best pokemon"
what videogame ill be playing tomorrow
Kyle is an OG pokemon fan :D
Ah mewtwo he still awesome to this day
I was expecting Jigglypuff.
I may make an eviolite Jigglypuff set and name it Kyle.
A part of me wanted him to say Jigglypuff too because sometimes he references Jigglypuff when talking about religious people lol
EVERYONE had Mewtwo. Mew was the mysterious one. C'mon Kyle!
Mew is also cuter.
The RISING COST of SELTZER!
I love this show that much more because you did not hesitate to answer Mewtwo 😂
Mewtwo is still badass
