Woman, you sure know how to make Picasso sing! You manage to use it in the prettiest projects. Feel free to make a whole blanket of this and send it my way 😊!
Hi Crystal- what a beautiful 3-D stitch! I’ll be adding this to my ever lengthening tutorials of yours! I finished one of your scarfs, a beanie, and I’ll call it a lapghan from your tutorials this weekend. Thank you for doing these tutorials! I’m 64. Been crocheting a long time and here is proof that it’s never to late to teach an old dog new tricks! ❤ You are amazing!!
Crystal 😊 each time you use that Picasso with black frame, it reminds me of stained glass ❤ I love it so much !! Gorgeous. Appreciate your videos. It’s a lot of work and your tutorials are very clear to see, and you have so much patience, in your instructions. You’re truly talented, my friend !! And such a genuinely great soul !
My FAVORITE HOOK FOR AFGHANS HAS ALWAYS BEEN “I” since I was a kid! Seems no one uses it anymore? Soooo happy with this GORGEOUS PATTERN! When I finish, I’ll send you a pic! (Who knows when? I’m one of those crocheted who starts like 2-3 projects at a time.....I bore easily lol lol lol 😅😂🤣). God bless you, Girl, in Jesus’s Precious Name, Amen!💕🕊🙏😘🌹👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Such a beautiful pattern!!! Works up so nicely even with self-striping yarn for the “window panes”, as I call them 😂! HINT FOR OUR WONDERFUL SUPER BEGINNERS: 🌺 I know the “drop down Double Crochet” can get to be a bit fussy when you first attempt it. Here’s a little help.... When you go to pull up that “long” loop, just release the tension a BIT (don’t let go!) on your yarn-holding-fingers; then “wiggle” your crochet hook a little bit while pulling it up. This will help stop any “bunching up” that can happen if your drop-down stitch is too tight.❤️ Eventually, you’ll do it second-nature! 🙋♀️ And I want to THANK YOU, OUR GREAT TEACHER 💕” for making sure you pointed out where the position of the Row 6 shells should be....directly in line with the drop-down DC from 2 rows down! When I started that row for the first time, I think I put the first half-shell in the opening BEFORE the first SC, and it didn’t look right at all 👀! My Friend, you certainly saved me a bunch of ripping out! (Yarn AND Hair! 😱 Lol!) , and I’ve been crocheting almost 50 years!!! 😇 Thanks so much again. I learn something hung new almost every time I watch your tutorials......and just L❤️VE it when I see you’re introducing a new pattern or yarn! God bless and safely keep you and yours (and everyone else here learning and having fun with this channel!😘), in Jesus’s Precious Name, Amen! 💕🕊🙏❤️✝️💜✡️🌹🌺
This is making a lovely baby blanket with the black replaced with a blue that matches a blue in the variegated yarn I am using, Patron's Astra, Fun 'N Game. Thank you so much.
This is so beautiful. I'm going to try this stitch using a bulky yarn for my great grandson due in July. If it doesn't work out, I'll change the yarn type. Thanks so much. I knew I'd find a use for this stitch. 😇🙂
Crystal, I was about to make my mom a blanket. She loves mosaic, but this is gorgeous! My mom absolutely loves Keith's "Happiness". I bought white for the border (mortar), but I love the black. It really makes the colors pop. 😍
Oh, Crystal! I've already saved it to my to do list and I haven't even started watching the video yet. I absolutely love the stained glass look. This one rocks all my senses. Blessings!
This is gorgeous WOW thank you for teaching this lovely 3-D stitch to us. I will make some beautiful blankets for the woman centre or homeless shelter they are going to love it.
I saw this pattern in a friends afghan, that was left behind when she moved into a new house, those people must not have been too smart! Needless to say my friend did not have the pattern. I searched on-line until I found yours. Thank you, you made this really easy to follow and I was able to write down the instructions as I went along. A lot of stitch, reverse video, write, watch next row and stitch…but it was definitely worth it! Thank you again, I know I will love this afghan when I am finished❣️
I now have 18 skeins of Picasso yarn. I have been going through all of your Picasso videos to figure out which one I want to make. After now seeing this one I know what I am making. Thank you so much for all you do for all of us. ❤😊
My wife enjoys watching your tutorials. You have given her confidence to try new projects other than hats and plain baby blankets. She even made one of your baby dresses. Thank you.
Crystal, I’ve been searching for a pattern that I truly love. This is it ! My grandaughter is having a girl , and I’m going to be a first time great grandmother! How exciting! This will be this precious baby’s blanket. I’m not sure about the color yet but it will definitely have pink in it . Thank you so much for this tutorial. You are a gem ! 😊🧶
Thank you again for a fantastic tutorial!! Making a baby blanket using variegated pastels with a pastel yellow and it’s turning out beautifully!! Thank you for sharing your talent and creativity with all of us!!!
Great video, I’m doing it in red & royal blue. One of my grandsons likes Spider-Man & this looks like a great stitch for 2 colors. I do like the variegated colors, it pops real beautiful. Thanks for sharing your talent.
I made this blanket for my great niece from Crystal's pattern and video. I used about 4000 yrds of washable wool @ black and chromatic yarn from Knit Pics. My great niece is 7. She loves it, it covers a queen bed top. She said she is going to take it to college! Wish I could add a picture.

Other wise I would have a ton of pillows lol. Thank you Crystal for all your beautiful stitch tutorials and yarny videos. You’re the best! Take care 💜
