Am I the only one who watches this man do magic who doesn’t play D&D, etc, never played the game, never have built a gaming piece or not likely to make one in the future? I am just in awe of this mans creativity and skill. I will continue to watch every week he puts out an episode.
Thank you so much for your support Rabid Fan! I really appreciate that and it made my day.
Definitely not the only one! However watching him makes me wanna play/build sets!
best terrain piece ive ever seen anywhere, no exaggeration.
That's really kind of you Sam !! Thanks 👊👊
Your village may need a stable for all the traffic that'll be coming through 😁
An Excellent idea! Thank you :)
A stable would be awesome
That's it, I can't take it anymore, I'm buying one of those led vaper machines!
haha..... It's a fun addition for sure.
Is there a link to it?
Great work as always John. I think a mercantile shop would be a cool addition to the town.
Thanks Kevin... I totally agree! Stay tuned....
If it's a coastal village, a lighthouse with a little rotating LED light would be pretty dope. Source one of those tiny brushless motors they use in those super tiny RC cars to spin the light around.
Very cool idea! Thanks!
VERY COOL!!!! Especially the stained glass!
Thank you :)
Sick build!
Now you need a couple of guild houses and a market square!
Thanks :) Awesome ideas!
Another spectacular build! I think the fan added a lot to the overall aesthetic.
Thank you. Yes, going through my box of cast pieces I saw this, and it was a must !
stained glass window is mindblowing SSS
Thank you !
Love that you are adding onto the village! I really dig that hole in the roof with the patchwork. A lot of story and character with this piece on the tabletop. Gotta think of a good suggestion for your village now. 🤔
Thanks Collin. Some cool ideas could come from ... oh lets say... the Princess Bride ;)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT this is true...every village needs a local fire swamp to adventure into. 😂
How about adding a temple, someplace the townsfolk can go and pray, and adventurers go for healing. Also gives you a chance to make a building with a more fancy exterior. If you're feeling especially eager, add some interchangeable parts that will allow you to rededicate the temple; such as god of the harvest and god of trade.
Very cool idea S H ! Thank you.
This would be pretty cool sitting on a desk in a study or at work as a great conversation starter. I guess an inn or a tavern would be a good addition to your village or maybe even some stables or a barn could be added
That would look very cool on a desk for sure. I have a tavern already :) It was one of earlier builds on the channel. Excellent idea on the stables!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT sorry forgot about the tavern
@@jonnyjonjo It's all good :) It was a while ago!
Dude, you constantly inspire me to get crafting! Thanks for the great content and much love from SC!
I'm really happy to hear that, and I appreciate your support :)
I used this technique on my gingerbread house on New Years eve. I didn't use "Milliput", but I used (EVA Foam Clay) a lot easier to use covering items, instead of the Milliput. Wet your fingers and tools with water to smooth the foam clay . it can be sanded and painted after it air dries...
Yep, that's a great option. Thanks Jesse.
WHAAAAAT???? How perfect is this!!! 😳 Damn! So jealous that you own this 🤭💕 Stay safe
:) Thank you! You too.
Always a blast
Thanks!
Dude are you kidding me! Your channel blows my mind, this potion shop is epic . I fully support everything you do on this channel and I’ll put my money where my mouth is and buy a shirt this month. 👍🏼👍🏼
I was all talking about wizard work shop with potions on Christmas Day and you just bust out this gorgeous building . Dude your awesome .
I'm glad you like the build!! I knew it was coming :) Thanks for hanging with the channel Atomic... I appreciate all your support.
Just found this channel. What a huge source of inspiration!
Also, very impressed that you responded to every comment, as far as I can tell
I'm glad you found the channel :) ... and welcome aboard !
I just rewind those 2 secs on begining with smoke and light on - just love it! One of my amateur stories has potion place like this and I know I want add more details with violet smoke from chimney... Thanks!
Glad you enjoyed the video... thank you!
Master of terrains.
Thank you :) !
i know i'm biased, but the colored smoke makes it so nice! :D
It looks awesome, your smoke machine is such a cool addition to my crafting arsenal!
Wow! Another amazing build!!! Such detail and I love the smoke effect!!
Thank you Angel :). Breaking out the smoke machine for a build coming out real soon!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT You are so welcome, John! Keep on building! I absolutely love your videos! So super excited to see what that build is going to be!!
Great build...I really like the smoke machine. The sign was cool too.
Thanks Tim !!
Diamond plate!?!?!? How dare you break my immersion, sir. (robble, robble).
In all seriousness, really digging those molds, the shingles look great. For non playable interiors I like using soda, or especially "corrugated" sports drink bottles can make for solid frames for domes / cylinders, and for the older set among us Metamucil cannisters work well too. They are fair at taking your sculpting materials and adhesives, ala Miniature Hobbyist's Wizard Tower as a good example (he's the Brit that makes things out of melted sprues).
Great Job as always brother. Up the Irons!!! 🤘🏻
haha, should I have sanded down the diamond plate for you :) Great idea on making use of some common household items. I had a feeling my daughters project would come in handy at some point... I still have a few planets left. Until next time !
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Hahaha, ALWAYS, ALWAYS do your own thing brother!!! It's what got all of us here. It's just that you dared me to comment. 🤘🏻
@@manowar665 Keep them coming :)
I often find that the hardest buildings in a settlement to make narratively interesting are the necessary but less glamourous ones, and would be interested in seeing your take on one for the tabletop - after all a good miniature with character can often tell a story or be a hook in and of itself!
By mundane I mean the likes of stables, or a butcher's shop or tanners' workshop, or just a small local magistrates/sherrifs/postal office or the like
Those are some great ideas Brandon... they can really help fill out the town in cool way. Thanks.
Whenever you pull out greenstuff I go from "I can do this!" to "nevermind"
William... you can do it. Seriously. If you're talking about the stained glass window. Do a round sign, with modified bottle inside. Simplify if you have to. Get your feet wet and go for it!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT You know what i love about this channel? Its how you refer to your out of this world art as simple and try to convince others that, they too can be aliens :)
@@exionpt6367 One step at a time! ... one step at a time :)
I used to think like this till I got some greenstuff as a Christmas present.
Turns out it's super easy to work with
Almost the exact same texture as silly putty!
@@maloryfunction2260 I've used it before, with 40k models. Granted that was a decade ago so maybe I was just a stupid teen
You put so much character into your builds. Great job yet again
Thank you Zane, I really appreciate that!
Dud! Amazing build!!! I just starting crafting and watching your channel is so inspiring.
Awesome! Thank you, I'm happy to hear that !
Wonderful build as always. What about either a lighthouse or a traveling circus tent for the village?
That's a cool idea... unique!
Really nice village! Greart Job!
Thank you very much :)
Itd be really hard, but itd be a funny detail to have a bird skeleton hanging by the smoke stack. Like it was pearched in the edge when the alchemist threw something in and it caused a jet of hot, acidic smoke to shoot out and torch the bird.
Now there is a unique detail :)
Not only is this my favorite build but this is my favorite UA-cam channel. Excellent work sir! Please keep them coming.
Thank you Mike G! I appreciate that.
I love the looks of the Things you do, it always remember me on my World of warcraft time 😍
Thank you J M ! !
This is my favorite one yet. Awesome job. Put this on a table and the whole quest would just come alive
Thank you :) I'm excited to use it.
😂 science solar system project from last year 😂 that made my night lol
An essential part of the build Adrianna. :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT I absolutely agree! I wonder if my mom kept mine from 28ish years ago 😂 I homeschool my 7 year old, so she hasn't made one yet. I guess I'll just have to build something else 🤷🏻♀️
A beautifull build. Again. I really love the layered paint job on the stones/bricks! It's a very strong and direct effect, visible right when you paint it. I really need to implement that technique.
Thank you... yeah it's a few more layers, but extremely effective!
I’d love to see how you’d build a windmill or water mill
Hi Lady Jewell... great ideas... one I've already done. The windmill was my first video on UA-cam :) Here's a link: ua-cam.com/video/WKQ85SkCMic/v-deo.html The water mill is a great idea!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT , thx for the link. Added to my build list. Since you’ve already done one, how about a tougher nut to crack: a ferry and dock or a fantasy water lock. 😇
@@ldyjewell You got it. Interesting ideas too!
Purchased plans and very excited to work on this building.
Awesome, thank you Jacob for supporting the channel. Enjoy your build!
Brilliant build. I'd love to see a book/scroll shop or library.
Thank you Annette! Cool idea noted!
That is so beyond cool!!!! I can not even list how many different techniques I learned about - I will be watching this build many more times!!!
Awesome Kat... I love the feedback. Give the build a go!
Beautiful my man!
Thank you 👍
This guy is just maxed out on his skill level. 🙌🏼👍🏻
Right on A Wallach 🤘🤘🤘
WOW!
That alchemy shop should be your logo!
Thank you :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Your log is great, but this shop! Your current logo could be hanging out the shop? No? Maybe you thought of that. Can't wait to see this in a 30+ house village one day ;)
Yes! That shop is amazing. The furnace section on the back just looks superb and really realistic. I love it when you make buildings
I think you should add a library or stables
Thank you very much. I really enjoy the buildings as well. Noted on your suggestions :)
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT you did it
Wow now that is a cool building!
Thank you VincBej :)
Amazing job, love the effects, but i wish you made the bases expland out a bit, so maybe then you could add like the cobbles infront of the shop and some decorout there
Thanks.... Yes I've been thinking about that. I like my interiors to be on a 1" grid to play inside, but there's no reason the outside has to conform to a grid... You'll see more on my channel that have bases to come!
À great witch you are! This steam punk house is wonderful. Individual stones and domes are perfect. I enjoy building houses but not as perfect as yours...
Hi Patrick, thank you :) I wanted to add as much detail to this one as I could. I like using foam rollers, but I find that over time the foam loses some of it's texture.... I wanted this one to last as is... individual bricks was a must.
Thanks for letting us know that Shifting Land US store is up and running.
You got it :)
What an incredible build. Inspiring!
Thank you James !!
I was going through a crafter's block for a couple weeks but I am SUPER motivated after seeing this! I think I wanna make some steampunk items
Right on! Glad to hear this sparked some ideas!
The final outcome of this build was just, simply, amazing! The attention to all the tiny details really blew me away! Thank you for sharing your considerable skills and keep up the awesome work! :)
Thank you so much, I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) Will do!
NIIIICE!!! it can be an awesome incense holder too!
Oh that's a sweet idea!
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT right hum? I like decorative/original and useful objects ;) get two for one
Next model? Outhouse.....OF DOOOOOOOMM! Another amazing build, loved the idea of saving kids previous school dios for your own modelling needs......only question is why does everyone save the big pretty planets, but never Uranus? Uranus is a planet too ya know.😉
So Andy, I KNEW you were going to mention the Outhouse of DOOOOM... but I have to admit... You get me with the Uranus bit haha.
Alright! You are clearly not messing around now. That's really next level stuff Jon. Right on!
Thanks Jacob :) Just trying to have some fun and share it with everyone...So many ideas so little time haha.
I’m speechless at how good this is 😳 the wood grain effect alone blew my mind 😅👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Thank you Katie-Bell
You need to work for WETA workshop, that was simply amazing!!!
Thank you :) !!
Yup gonna have to build me one of those fog machines. I got a handful of them ecigs laying around 😂
Yeah pretty ingenious on his part... you mentioned that in the past video didn't you?
Your next building should be a livestock barn
Cool idea :) thanks.
I'd be very interested in seeing either a farmer's market or a butcher shop getting added to your village. Or heck, even a bakery!
Great ideas... thank you.
that's awsome. I wish I knew someone who would use this stuff and I'd make it for kicks
Thanks !! Make it and put it on your shelf! :)
My jaw dropped about 1.5 seconds into this video. Damn dude. You’re killing it!
Right on ! 🤘 Thanks for the support!
wow what you have shown, all types of technique, both the stones, airbruch, the wood structure and the colors you have used, then you see that everything comes into its own, beautiful piece or an art
well done john.
Thank you Luc, I thought it would be cool to really add a few new techniques to this build. I love the feedback!
Great idea!! Love the concept. Cant wait to build my own! A great idea for a next one might be an old asylum or hospital from the medieval time area
Ooooo.... interesting..... Let me think on this for a bit. Thanks Jennifer.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT your welcome it would fit in your style and could be filled with all kinds of things that go bump in the night. The options are endless........both gothic and creepy at the same time.
A video about quick-to-make houses to really bulk out villages would be awesome. As always, a stunning craft.
Excellent idea! Noted... Thank you for watching :)
Would love to see a Brothel, Bazaar/trade post, or a Tanner/tailor
Very cool ideas ! I like it... noted. Thanks.
Incredibly impressive. Perhaps an armory?
Sweet idea, thank you Greg 🤘
This. Is. Awesome! 🧡
Thank you 🙏
I get it, you're going for alchemy shop, but with the giant vat grafted on I can only see it as the medieval version of a late 90s brewpub 🍻
Well there's a high demand for healing potions so..... beer too :)
Being a blacksmith, I'd love to see a blacksmith's shop. But it actually look like a working shop.
I have one already on the channel Jonathan. Let me know what you think? Here's the link: ua-cam.com/video/NcTQpX972lY/v-deo.html
Rats! I missed the blacksmith shop build. Just saw you mention it at the end of this build. Maybe some sort of local garrison/sheriff building? Something that could either house a few of the king's men as a sort of way post for patrolling the land or small jail for the local constabulary to work from. Maybe have a small gallows and some headstocks outside? Maybe some sort of combination of both?
@@looselycollected7505 Interesting... thanks for the ideas :)
Cant Wait to experiment with my fog mashine, really love the way you implemented it in this building. I'm thinking about a smaler version of your build with more Gears and Screws for a Village of Gnomes
Ahh, very cool! This build was pushing it on size to fit the smoke machine inside. If you go smaller you might want to consider having the machine outside the house or some other way to conceal it.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT good call , will have that in mind
This was cool af. I’m so glad I came across this video. Instant SUB ✔️
Welcome aboard!.... and Thank you for your support !
You did it!!!!! WHAT it is awesome
Thank you Dustin !!
SICK BUILD BRO! I love your channel I can't wait to see whats next!
Right on man, thanks for watching and your support! 🤘
Excellent work! Can we get an update vid on your whole village? Or perhaps a terrain collection highlight vid?
Hey GPJ, thank you. Yeah I'm planning on making a video out of it once I add a few more pieces.
I watched your video on Disney's Haunted Mansion and loved it. And now watching this video your talent is amazing! You make your builds look so easy and I'm pretty sure they're not. Crafting late into the night, I think we're all guilty of that because we don't want to lose our creative mojo. I look forward to watching more of your builds.
I'm glad you're enjoying the content Lisa, and thank you for the compliments :)
Jeeze that's legit dude. Great video.
Right on Rob, thank you :)
This is killer. Has a nice steam punky kinda vibe, which I love! Do you use the same smoke machine in each project or do you have a bunch of them?
Thanks :) I just have one. Super easy to move from build to build. I made this house pretty small and one story because I wanted to see what the smallest build was that I could make and fit the smoke machine inside. This is about it.
@@TabletopWitchCRAFT Nice, it looks so cool. You are gonna blow your players minds when gaming in person comes back round ;)
@@Nat1videos I hope so!
This is fantastic! How about a Wizard's Tower (smoke will probably be needed ;) )
Thank you :) I have some ideas.... !!
Awesome video . Thanks for this amazing craft work .
You got it, thanks for watching.
The build looks great. I love the stone work on the house with the way you varied the stone looks more realistic. The stained glass sign is very nice.
Thank you Nathan !
I look forward to getting the notification that you have a new build. I am amazed every week with the quality of your crafting
Thank you very much Greg! I love having you stop by, watch, and I appreciate your comments :)
Thanks for sharing and caring!
You got it... thanks for watching :)
Wow... this is just so cool.
Thank you Keenan !
So beautiful ⚔
Thank you Alex :)
What an awesome build. Your art keeps getting better and better.
You know what your town needs, John? A Market... Adventurers have to shop for food, and trade is a great way for town's economy. Greetings all the way from Lima, Perú!
Hi there, thank you, and that is a really cool idea. I want to do something special with this one. Let me think on it.
Maybe some window screen at different levels to disperse the fog machine "smoke" wider?
Cool idea!
Amazing build! I love all the different affects and styles of wood, pipes, stones, metal and such that went into this build. The sign is awesome! The incorporation of the molds was great idea. I can’t wait to attempt this build. Definitely need more practice before I attempt this.
Thank you.... add it to your list... when your ready you know where to find me if you have questions along the way.
Very impressive!!!
Thank you Kevin :)
That's pretty rad
Thank you 🤘
Wow just incredible. Have subscribed
Thank you Tamsyn! I appreciate the support !
I absolutely love the pigeon detail! Your alchemy shop is absolutely beautiful! ❤
Thank you Sarah. :)
The town totally needs a little pet shop.
I'll get my daughter working on that right away haha... actually familiars are a thing now aren't they... you might be on to something.
Absolutely outstanding, your dedication to detail is second to none!
Thank you so much Holly :) !! I'm glad you're enjoying the content.
be helpful in these buildings for player identification of walls & doorways to leave the bottom of the wall attached to the base.
