Did a quick install of the Harley Davidson Daymaker LED Forward Auxiliary Lights on my 2022 Pan America Special. This was a pretty easy install with getting the lights level the trickiest part. Hope you find this useful.
Lights Part Number: 68000340
Wiring Harness Part Number: 68000343
Need the brush guard to mount the lights to.
Harness will plug directly into the bike, but I added the accessory harness.
Part Number: 69201599A
Just added the same auxillary lights to my bike a few days ago and last night was my first opportunity to try them out. I must say I was a bit disappointed with the output compared to price. All in all, with lights AND wiring harness/switch (sold as another kit so be sure to purchase), you're looking at an $800 bill. They have a wide and surprisingly high field of output but, even maxed out and having my headlight on high beam, I expected more for the price. I do live in the city so maybe if I'm out in the wild, it'll be more dramatic.
Thanks for the videos!
Thats not cool. Did you try adjusting them at all. About 8 feet away from the wall (at night) I aligned the fog lights just below the normal like. The Span is amazing and really like how wide it is. The off road lights are pretty high up. Unless off road I do not think I will need them at all. I do city and country roads. Way more useful on the country roads. Thanks for the comment John.
Those lights are going to be killer bright. Great job, Jerry.
Thank you !
Great video Jerry! I'm learning that running wires can sometimes rely totally on ingenuity and inventiveness. Ride safe!
Totally. Some bikes have minimal wiring options. Thanks for watching and ride safe.
Well, I guess you are going to keep us in suspense!
nice breakdown dude and lookin good!
Riding at night has been so much nicer. Thanks for watching.
Awesome idea with the loom. I hate removing the tank. It’s always when it’s full.
Thanks. I hate removing tanks. This one is a PITA. Thanks for watching.
Gremlins sound a bit scary...glad your bike has been trouble free, Jerry!
Right. I'm dodging bullets here lol
🤘🤘🤘
Thanks. Glad a mechanic approves of my wire routing !
Thanks for that. What do you think of them?
Only used them a few times so far. The Fog lights are great, especially on the dark windy country roads. Went for a ride on a horse trail. No street lights or anything near by. Wow! In the spring It will attract bugs for days. So bright.
@@MinnowMoto Thanks for that and the content, your channel has been great in helping me decide if I want one. Also, the beard awesome too hahaha
damn, i bet those will be really nice!
They really make a difference on those back roads.
They were a bit pricey, but good lighting doesn't come cheap. They throw an incredible amount of light downrange. The fogs make a great, and incredibly well visible, daytime running light setup. As we all know you can't pay enough to be more visible.
True story. Being seen is a bonus. Thanks for watching.
You won't ever be seen car drivers never look.
@@chrishart8548 hahaha, that is so true.
Stop right there! Aren't we going to pop the bubble wrap lol?
Haha, I Did and it was amazing!
Part of me want them part of me doesn’t. The price is just nuts.
When you compare them to the Danali or Clearwater there are not a bad deal. I have some lens guards coming, That seems to be the real only complaint I've seen about them. Ride safe buddy!
Hey Jerry - are the lens guards you ordered an HD part or aftermarket? That’s a great idea considering the investment in these lights. I have the HD guard for the headlight already installed…
