Mike thanks for all your great info, always enjoy the help and appreciate your delivery and detail. I always share your post with friends. Make it a good day. Michael
Double blades. No Skirt. Rage craw as a trailer. Glued on too. Purple and Green Pumpkin colors. Built tough and lasts all day. Sept 28th 2021. 80 degrees during the day and high 50's at night. Great video Mike! Shawn.
This is a much preferred delivery-style from the screaming and outbursts era, Mike. This "softer-style" really allows your professional persona and knowledge to come through. My buds agree that "Ike seems to have toned it down, lately." We all enjoy the IKE 2.0 version. When the onion gets peeled, you are a wise, cutting-edge angler with much to share and much for us to be grateful for. Rather than guard your pearls, you choose to allow guys like us to view them and you will be even more effective, now, at teaching----which is what you truly are---a teacher. Congrats on your recent successes.
I've been trying to expand my arsenal and catch bass on baits that I've never caught anything on before. This morning I added buzz bait to that list. I caught 2 this morning. Fun times.
Dude. Awesome videos. Thank. I'm just getting back into fishing after 12 year hiatus. And I want to get more serious than I was. This is extremely helpful channel. I just watched the shad rap neutral buoyancy video and this one. As well as many others but these two stand out. I'm hooked now.
You really shouldn't use super glue on them because after a while it starts to build up and it's very hard to remove but buzz baits are fairly cheap to buy anyway.
My go-to buzzbait modification is to bend the bent parts of the blade a little more, it makes more sound and increases the drag making it go to and stay on the surface faster
Hey Mike, loved the video and info. A buzzbait is my favorite topwater lure! Quick question about your rods - I’m looking at buying one of your delay series rods to pair with your 6:6:1 casting reel. I’m wanting something that I’ll be able to use various size crankbaits and finesse swimbaits (around 1/4 oz heads) on. Should I go with the 7’ or 7’3 medium action? Thanks in advance!
To hold the plastic baits. When I cast with plastics. They tend to slide back towards the hook even with the keeper numb. So try just a little glue it works. Shawn
So since a BUZZ BAIT turns in one Direction in the water will it not try to veer in a single direction and should you set up and cast so that it keeps you in the strike Zone Longer???????
Mike a little help here Love the SS buzz bait but I just purchased one and honestly it's the worse bait I've ever bought The blade doesn't turn like a buzz bait at all it chops thru the water It's runs badly to my left & there is no squeak at all Any suggestions on what might be wrong
You gotta love when Ike’s in the shop ✊🏾 There’s always a new idea you never even thought to put in your arsenal to increase hook ups...Or at least get a hit.
Off topic but wanted to say I bought a pair of Ike fishing glasses thinking they would be good considering it had Ike on it. But the coating on the glasses were not durable at all and scratched off. You Should team up with booyah baits. There lens seem to hold up.
I use to love buzz baits until I got my hands on whopper ploppers. With buzz baits I found myself getting short strikes. Now with whopper ploppers I still land fish that even just swipe at the bait
@@CORNDODGER sure you get what you pay for. How does that make your point. Your saying the price is the same no matter the options My point is you can get it cheaper without some options. So sell it without the skirt it should be cheaper.
@@jcreel4055 a skirt doesn't throw the cost up. They do sell skirtless buzzbaits, look on tackle warehouse. And companies are now making toad buzzbaits specifically designed for toads and softplastic trailer baits.
I like my trailer small and compact. Nice yum bream color is great for top water buzzing around the lake.
Love that style buzz baits. Thanks for the great tips.

Mike I love that fishing rod you are using for that finesse buzzbait.

I love putting soft plastics on buzzers. That's a sweet little design for sure.
You got it!
Great pro tip! Used this technique with spinner baits but never thought about adapting to the ole buzz bait. Thanks!
Thanks for watching Matthew!

You in da shop. Please don't stop.
More in the shops to come!
I like putting a big o tube on my buzzers
Thats a good idea.
Love the pitboss
Great tips Mike thx!
Thanks for watching Victor!
Inspired me to start my own UA-cam! Thanks man
Awesome!
Would putting on the pit boss sideways make it more like a shad or not really matter Mike.
I flip craws and other soft baits sideways to get more of a tail movement. Works for me.

More great tips, that bait looks awesome! Thanks Mike!
Add an ol school h&h shirt to it
simply the best bro!
Great modification mike. Have you ever thought of putting a soft plastic toad on the back? Like a yum Tip Toad...
I like to run a skirtless buzzbait with a Stanley Toad, or yum toad as a trailer.
I really like that Molix buzzbait though!
Great idea!

Gday, do you take the trailers off once you finish fishing or do you leave them on for next time? Cheers 🎣
Di you think a yomamoto zako would work
Summer I like to add a Yamamoto Cowboy to my bladed jigs and buzz baits.
The random hand at :52 lol
You going ice fishing with that thing?! 🤣
Great tips👍 when we gonna see you catch a bass on that ice rod😂😂. Good luck at the redcrest, I'll be in my boat watching you guys
Hold it out in the wind when you are driving soon it will start to squeak ,than its ready for fishing !!
Your hat is crooked, it’s really bugging me

Why dont they sell them skirtless save use a little money and we not wasting a skirt
If you order a hamburger with no onions you STILL PAY THE SAME PRICE but you are getting the onions
