I've just gotten into buzz baits, and I am having a blast so far is there any tips you can give me as to any mods I can do to catch more fish. Thank You.
Buzzbait fishing is so much fun! All you need to do for a good squeaking sound out of it is crimp the rivet (or as the professional buzzbait man calls it, a "clevis") tight to the wire so it doesn't move around. Another thing some people do is tie them to the car's antenna for a bit to break it in while you're driving lol. And there are some good ones that come with holes in the blades, which isn't a necessity if you ask me. Many of them catch fish just the way they come. We just get picky about what we think means more strikes. Some people get a bit obsessive 😂
Yup, just made a few mods on my new buzzbait and noticing the difference immediately. Excited to hit the water tomorrow to test it out.
Why not make a 2.0 version with all those tips included in the build?
Totally agree with you here
Been enlarging the holes since the '70s
What lol

Good man, Tom Johnson!
Ive been known to destroy a few holes just to prove a point.
Now I'm gonna put a buzz bait as my hood ornament after hearing that.
Thanks, Brandon !
Gonna try these things. Thanks bro!
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Great tip 👍
Awesome tips. Thank you

We all fish it but man my favorite thing about it is the hookset baby!!
If he designed it why all the modifications
Exactly.
Because things we buy are mass produced. Also he has his own specific needs and uses for the lure. Thanks.
@@z0ob0y you make "blooper" videos about ... children being beaten. Weirdo
@@trolltracker WTF?
@@trolltracker thanks for the info you are obviously a very intelligent person
I get the same squeak by leaving the buzzbait in bleach for a few days. They drill a couple of holes in the blades to create a bubble trail
What a great vid!
Awesome
Does this float ?
I just threw a buzzbait this morning for the first time in a long time.
Would love to see the skip. I find the 3/8oz hit and miss.
You designed this bait yet it needs all these modifications??
❤️❤️
That is an aluminum pop rivet head Bro not a clevis. Good buzz bait tips, Thanks.
Too much work to fish a buzzbait.
@Elena Mae I like to be versatile also, but I don’t want to spend 10-15 minutes rigging up a bait.
I thought it was a parody as soon as he mentioned the drill
I pull out my drill
Then I whip out the hot glue
Then I pull out my Glock and shoot it
Nah, it takes longer to put line on a reel than it does to do these mods.
