Great 'how to' video. Though, I like how you cleaned the radiator fan but not the air filter and housing, which looked pretty awful. Sure, irrelevant to the radiator replacement, but still noteworthy on a repair.
Great video. The bottom transmission line was seized on mine. I found taking the fan shroud off allows more access. Feels good saving money, thanks for the great tutorial!
This information at the end was quite helpful. I did the repair myself and changed the lower and upper hoses too plus the thermostat. Thanks 1A Auto Parts!!!

@@1AAuto I think I will do the same. Also thinking after this procedure we'd need to add more transmission fluid as well right? Since the part that was in the old radiator would be missing in the new one by that much.

I purchased a radiator from 1A auto. No problems at all except the fitting for the top tranny cooler line is leaking I’m hoping it’s just the o -ring that is bad. I’m gonna swap it out from my old radiator. Check o-rings on the tranny cooler line fitting before installing the new radiator
So in the very beginning u show removing fender well and removing lower hose, then later in the video after u remove the shrowd u then remove the lower radiator hose again at around the 9:57 mark, your video is messed up and confusing as far as that part goes. Looks as if the part of taking tire off and fender well was all unnecessary.

If you have two small lines going in on the drivers side of your current radiator then you need the version with the oil cooler fittings. If not, then you need the one without.
While I appreciate all of the videos you guys put out, why did you re-attach the hoses before putting the fan assembly back in? Just complicates things and wasn't necessary.
Sometimes they reuse footage for replacement of other parts. If you only want to replace the fan housing, you would do it this way. Now they don’t have to record multiple videos for different parts. Like magic.
I need the smaller hose that you remove that goes from the radiator “to the top of the engine” but you don’t say what it is. Do you sell this hose? What is it called? Thanks.
Great video but you don’t have to remove the whole fan they did that because that’s new replacement just unhook both fan connections and remove the 13mm bolts and it slides back enough to remove the radiator

Got quoted $1400 to replace radiator. Doing this myself. Thanks for the videos.

Exactly what I was thinking... I have a 2003 and it don't look like that... so this whole video is kinda wrong and confusing
On top of that, lots of guys remove the fan shroud. Totally unnecessary.
Also unnecessary to remove airbox.
Thank you so much you saved me some money and the job was so easy!!!!

How would I know which configuration radiator I need (I.e. with only trans cooler or with trans and engine oil cooler). 2007 Chevrolet Suburban.
If you have two small lines going in on the drivers side of your current radiator then you need the version with the oil cooler fittings. If not, then you need the one without.
What is the funnel with the cap you used to refill the coolant?
if your temperature gauge stays at 0 after the replacement? Remove the "ECM-BATT" fuse for 10 seconds, that should fix it.

Drained the coolant twice…once from the wheel well, second time from above after removing fan…😂
Will this be the same for a 08' Chevy Tahoe?
what size are those trans fitting threads??

Where can I get the plastic clamp for the top hose that mounts into the top of cooling fans to keep the upper hose in place
How much fluid those it take ?
12:04 you can see an Alien. 👽 your welcome.
Ha, I looked
How about the other 2 empty slides on the other side are they need it ??
What’s the hose at 10:36 called?
Great job
Would this be the same for a 2008 suburban 2500

Did you have to top off the transmission fluid too because of the transmission lines attached to the radiator???
They’re coolant lines, so he did by virtue of topping off coolant.
This helped out a lot
+Javier Cano Thanks for the feedback!
Trans cooler lines @ 4:40
Whats the back Jam?
Thank you
+James R Thank you!
Good job!
+Aaron Frausto Thank you!
Does th tahoe have a radiator in the back wheel area on the passenger side?
Nope. 1 radiator in the front
Is my Denali and a Yukon
The same vehicle
My 2012 Tahoe with 70k miles radiotor leaking hence here. My 2008 Yukon with 165k miles still has original radiator.
the older GM the better quality. I replaced the factory radiator on my 98 Lesabre just last year.
My 2010 Avalanche with 215k miles, first radiator change happening now. Lol.
Is this the same process for a 2011 Cadillac Escalade?
Is this the same for a 2013 Tahoe?

That coolant housing looks a whole lot cleaner going back on. Hmmm....
This is definitely the newer model with the electric fan ..
does this work on my 2003 chevy tahoe??????????
+Efrain Barrera The procedure may be similar. We currently do not have a radiator install video for your vehicle. Thanks for checking us out!
