Please do more videos like this. I love RPGs, but it's hard to find the good ones these days. I think it would be cool to put a spotlight on credible games and developers like this.
Since you're still so excited about Suikoden, is there any chance we could get a full episode, with as much detail as the Final Fantasy VI video, about Suikoden II?
Personally I'd like him to do the same thing with Suikoden as he does with Final Fantasy. So when the Final Fantasy marathon finishes up I'd like him to see a Suikoden marathon. Because I would really like to know what he has to say not only about II but the rest of the series as well (including my personal favourite Suikoden V).
I was thinking of a blue shirt/tunic/armor piece too. I love the receipts quote, but maybe calling back to that isn't the best though. Maybe protects against nature, but not BEES

This has really peaked my interest. I haven’t played a suikoden game before but I think it looks really great. Also on the topic covering more current video game news i would love that! Mabye once in awhile you could do videos covering upcoming indies/kickstarters that you think could be great or caught your eye
You should really try Suikoden 2 is one of the best JRPG's ever equal to classics like Chrono Trigger even better than most FF games just to say a bit.
I can't believe no one is mentioning that Tadashi Satomi is the scenario writer. A.K.A, the mind behind Persona 1 and 2, Digital Devil Saga and the Caligula games.
Suikoden were little known gems. The RPGs that made my childhood beating out FF, etc. Please contribute and help this game grow/succeed. The developers have been amazing interacting with fans.

Suikoden Survive would be a vast improvement over Suikoden Pachinko Machine... Edit: if I could spend money online, I would back this, since I was a big fan of Octopath Traveler, which is similar in aesthetic

They've been trying to get the attention of more news outlets and youtubers, but Kickstarter fatigue and being in the middle of a pandemic has made it difficult for anyone to want to run a story on it. This game looks BE-A-U-TIFUL
The item should be "Nutup Petal", and it should be a few use item that grows a huge shadow of Nutup (not shown for copyright reasons and affect) that unleashes a devastating attack then heals the party and maybe give them a small buff.

Item idea: A helmet that looks like the top of Vileplume. If you’re hit by an enemy, they have a 10% to have a status effect. “A study helmet made of an exotic plant named Nupus Tupium.”
There are fewer things that make me happier than knowing Jared knows about Suikoden. It’s such an underrated series and Suikoden 2 is considered to be one of the greatest RPG’s ever. I would LOVE if he gave Suikoden the FF treatment and gave them all a review!
Hey Jared, glad to see this vid and I'm excited about this too. I hope you're doing good man, I know things were rough for a while, and I'm glad to see you stuck it out. Stay up and keep doing you man! I loved S3 the most, so I'm hyper excited for this. I miss the old school JRPG styled games. Sure Skyrim is fun, but sometimes the old school structure is fun too.
I actually dig that new format very much, and it might even bring good views too, however I want them as long as they don't go in the way of the regular episodes. Also, "jim's sword" that attracts bees sounds fun

I was one of the many who broke Kickstarter the day it started. So hyped for this game, I know Kickstarter is risky but for whatever reason I had the utmost confidence in this and had no qualms in donating
The item added needs to fit in the universe of the game. Something iconic enough that it's recognizable as ProJared, but incospicuous enough that people won't be bothered like it was a product placement. I'm thinking something like Woodrow's Azure Gamberson. It's a well worn armor of an adventurer. Has a high collar to protect its user's neck. For effects... Something that can be fun to build around, but not too strong that it eclipses the game. Something like increases attack and lowers defense whenever hit, or recovers mp based on damage taken.
What i really liked about Suikoden 2 that should be in its spiritual successor... 1. Unite attacks 2. Runes *Elemental: Fire/Rage, Water/Flowing, Lighting/Thunder, Wind/Cyclone, Earth/Mother Earth *Non-elemental: Resurrection, Darkness, Blue Gate *Special: Angry Dragon, Fire Dragon, Swallow, Spider Slay, etc. *Support: Killer, Hazy, Double-beat, Fury, etc. 3. Weapon blacksmith Lvl 1 to 15 & weapon rune embed (would be cool when weapon level up and name changes the appearance changes too) 4. Mini Games such as Restaurant cook off, Mole game, Rope climbing, Dancing 5. Army strategy battles 6. Ending A, B, C 7. To have New Game +
I always like hearing about new things, especially with how they relate to old things. So many old series get rebooted and changed in the process it's kinda hard to find things that are actually like the older games.

I got an ad for this literally earlier today, didn't look too deeply into it, because I thought it was, and I quote, "just another kickstarter for any old game". Now, to be honest, I have never played a Suikoden game, but I do trust your taste in games, so I will give it a second, more detailed look. So this is weird and funny. Earlier this day i met with my friends and i told them the exact same thing as the title. Literally: „EVERYONE, SHUT UP, THIS IS IMPORTANT!“ and i showed them the new Sun Wukong game gameplay trailer. I know it has nothing to do with... Su-i-ken(?) but it is really weird that what i told today appeared as title for a ProJared video.

I recently got Octopath Traveler with my brand new Switch and thought it'd be decent but this game is amazeballs
Octopath Traveller was pretty cheap to make..... and they certainly did take people's money charging AAA release prices for it ($50-60)

For effects... Something that can be fun to build around, but not too strong that it eclipses the game. Something like increases attack and lowers defense whenever hit, or recovers mp based on damage taken.
What i really liked about Suikoden 2 that should be in its spiritual successor...
1. Unite attacks
2. Runes
*Elemental: Fire/Rage, Water/Flowing, Lighting/Thunder, Wind/Cyclone, Earth/Mother Earth
*Non-elemental: Resurrection, Darkness, Blue Gate
*Special: Angry Dragon, Fire Dragon, Swallow, Spider Slay, etc.
*Support: Killer, Hazy, Double-beat, Fury, etc.
3. Weapon blacksmith Lvl 1 to 15 & weapon rune embed (would be cool when weapon level up and name changes the appearance changes too)
4. Mini Games such as Restaurant cook off, Mole game, Rope climbing, Dancing
5. Army strategy battles
6. Ending A, B, C
7. To have New Game +
I always like hearing about new things, especially with how they relate to old things. So many old series get rebooted and changed in the process it's kinda hard to find things that are actually like the older games.

I got an ad for this literally earlier today, didn't look too deeply into it, because I thought it was, and I quote, "just another kickstarter for any old game". Now, to be honest, I have never played a Suikoden game, but I do trust your taste in games, so I will give it a second, more detailed look. Either way, regardless of if I decide to back it or not, I'm glad to see you so excited for it, and I hope the game delivers everything you hope it would ^_^

So this is weird and funny. Earlier this day i met with my friends and i told them the exact same thing as the title. Literally: „EVERYONE, SHUT UP, THIS IS IMPORTANT!“ and i showed them the new Sun Wukong game gameplay trailer. I know it has nothing to do with... Su-i-ken(?) but it is really weird that what i told today appeared as title for a ProJared video.

Hey Jared, what do you think of the new update for this game from E3? It sounds like the Kickstart supporters are upset about it being available to XBox users on their pass? I just love Suikoden so I don't understand why they're upset about this; wouldn't Microsoft's support financially help the game get completed?
This and Bloodstained are two spiritual successors I'm happy exist.
Any updates 9 months later or is this gonna be like bloodstained with better games after the Kickstarter like curse of the moon 2 being 2 player?
I think everyone has agreed on 'Blue Dress Shirt' at this point, but I just want to say this game looks so good! I haven't played Suidoken... (Suidokein? Sudoken?) Uh... Suikoden! But I'm excited for this game.
I hope we can encounter a Luca Blight 2.0. The violence incarnate of a madman.
