The latter doesn't play properly with the Duel Sense's Gyro motion, since there's no reference/sensor bar. The game isn't without its technical issues such as the lighting flickering and some of the shadows behaving weird and the gameplay does need some rebalancing; however, the ambition that this game has and how much it lived up to it is astonishing. Funny enough I just sent my Polymega base unit back to playmaji last week because while I had the base unit for 2 years now, and loving it, the modules I just bought didn’t work at all, wouldn’t recognize them! Otherwise it plays my disc games great. And I am also playing Eiyuden Chronicles, it’s making my old school jrpg heart swell, it’s so good.

Playing through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth right now. Thanks to your video I just added Eiyuden Chronicle to my wishlist on steam and hope to play it soon
Johnny, i feel ur pain installing a ton of games at once. I filled up a pair of 4TB HDD for PS4 last year, and the trauma lingers, lol. Most were downloads at 1GB/1min, and took forever.
Not sure if you know this yet, but you can play any game while you are installing if you choose "Install in Background". When I was installing I would play a previously installed CD game or a cart game while I was waiting. Splatterhouse installed for me by the way. There was a guy on the Discord that said if you put the game in and then pull it back just a little bit, that increases your chances for some games to install properly.
Same as always .. Fatal Fury Special on ps4. Hi score mode I got 236 rank. Completed with Big Bear. U can imagine my disappointment after beating the game on mvs difficulty and only didn't even break the top 200. 535,000 points... or there about.
Isn’t the polymega emulation though? So basically a retron 5 but more systems? My steam deck is my emulation machine which can play basically anything and can hook up to the tv. :)
I was installing my PS1 games on my Polymega already when I started watching this episode! What a great surprise! I felt exactly the same about my Polymega, that it was made just for me! lol I have already installed ALL of my games on the other consoles and I'm a mad collector to be honest... Many games couldn't be installed on mine, mostly unlicensed and newer games too for older consoles. Hope an update fixes all of these soon. Keep those great videos up!
I'm looking forward to the episodes about older games. I love when you have those stories of older times. I'm not that much younger than you but when kids that makes a difference, not to mention English is not my first language, so it took me a while to get access to games where I would have to rely on more text.
I intend to play EC. Currently I'm playing old and new as well. Recently finished the first 3 MGS games again. At the moment I am fully engrossed in Unicorn Overlord. Hope to see your thoughts on it for sure.
Playing Sea of Stars, the new Dragon Quest Monsters (have you played it yet Johnny?), and a couple older titles I never finished: Final Fantasy IV on the PSP and Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth on the DS. I also picked up a physical copy of the first Freedom Planet, but haven’t had much time for it yet. Feels like a rainy weekend title to play with my 8 year old son…anything to get him away from Minecraft or (shudder) Fortnite.
Ended up finishing rebirth this past week and LOVED it. And Stellar Blade has me rn. And a little side game for me is RE 3 original playing on and off. So currently enjoying my games rn. Hope you and the family are well Johnny! 🙏🏽

I am *so* tempted to grab this one. Like you, played Suikoden on the PS1 back in the day. …oh man, but my backlog! In other news, currently re-visiting FF 15.
Just got an Anbernic 35XXH retro handheld and been trying some PICO8 games on it like the shmup Kalikan and the puzzle game Puzzles of the Paladin. On the emulation side played Xenogears, Lady Sia and Metal Slug Advance on it.
Is there a Polymega-like device that does the same for Nintendo games? I have a huge Nintendo collection, and playing old games is getting harder and harder!
Man, gotta ty for the super old Xenoblade review with Kim. I finally picked up a switch in January while in Japan and couldn't decide on RPG's. Let's just say we got back Jan 15th and I'm now on the last part of Xenoblade 3. I LOVE the series! Right up there with playing FF7 through first time

“or are you still playing Stellar Blade??” Johnny, it just came out two days ago!! But it is tragic and a bit coincidental that both Akira Toriyama and the Suikoden creator passed away before their games came out, and both of those games (Sand Land and Eiyuden Chronicles) launched on the same day.
I ordered a polymega deluxe bundle on April 5th, it arrived April 13th, I absolutely love this thing. I'm STILL installing games onto the 4TB SSD i installed in it. I'm at around 400 games installed so far with way more to go. I don't even have the N64 module yet to do my N64 carts! :-)
I absolutely love suikoden , one of my favorite games ! and Eiyuden is an amazing spiritual successor in my opinion, still playing through due to work hours but im loving every moment i spend on the game !

I have a considerable backlog of games.
Looking forward to Eiyuden. Thanks for the quick review.
Mario+Rabbids Sparks of Hope. Surprisingly solid tactical rpg.
First one is such a pleasure to play, especially with the OST from grant kirkhope
It's in the backlog
It is a MASTER Piece
Best Ubisoft series imo!
On my backlog!
I started Hollow Knight again, it's been a while since 2017. Such a great game, I hope we will see Silksong someday. 🤣
Ah that Suikoden music takes me straight back
I’m playing vampire hunter D on ps1, sin and punishment on Wii, and street fighter 6 still lol
Nice! I love VHD on PSX, I play through it 1-2 times a year. Kinda jank but pretty solid once you get the controls down.
I found VHD unplayable so settled for watching a UA-cam playthrough, as a huge fan of VHD had to be done 👍🏻
When will we get another anime!?
Playing through Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth right now. Thanks to your video I just added Eiyuden Chronicle to my wishlist on steam and hope to play it soon
I have been playing Harvestella, having a blast!
Still working on Unicorn Overlord here. And I'm about to start another run of Lufia on SNES...
Tons of games at the moment. Eiyuden Chronicle, Stellar Blade, Sand Land, Dragon’s Dogma II, Unicorn Overlord, Infinite Wealth, and soon Paper Mario.
Johnny, i feel ur pain installing a ton of games at once.
I filled up a pair of 4TB HDD for PS4 last year,
and the trauma lingers, lol.
Most were downloads at 1GB/1min, and took forever.
I am addicted to Helldivers 2 😄
Not sure if you know this yet, but you can play any game while you are installing if you choose "Install in Background". When I was installing I would play a previously installed CD game or a cart game while I was waiting. Splatterhouse installed for me by the way. There was a guy on the Discord that said if you put the game in and then pull it back just a little bit, that increases your chances for some games to install properly.
Enjoying Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes on PS4 and Stella Glow on 3DS.
Nothing on Switch right now.
Same as always
..
Playing Fallout 4 with the new update and having a blast. The performance mode is perfect so far. Haven't had any issues.
I hope the next Dragon Quest game is being made! I’ve loved those games for 35 years❤
I was installing my PS1 games on my Polymega already when I started watching this episode! What a great surprise! I felt exactly the same about my Polymega, that it was made just for me! lol
I have already installed ALL of my games on the other consoles and I'm a mad collector to be honest... Many games couldn't be installed on mine, mostly unlicensed and newer games too for older consoles. Hope an update fixes all of these soon. Keep those great videos up!
I just finished ys VI so my weekend was an awesome one with my steam deck ❤
Granblue Relink for me, damn the character progression and unlocks are insanity and I LOVE it, all MonHun and PSO2 fans should def check it out!
I'm looking forward to the episodes about older games. I love when you have those stories of older times.
I'm not that much younger than you but when kids that makes a difference, not to mention English is not my first language, so it took me a while to get access to games where I would have to rely on more text.
All I've been playing the past few weeks is Dragon Quest 10! Johnny if you weren't actively avoiding MMORPGs you would LOVE DQ10!
It’s on japanese my dude
@@XeikZone nah there is ways to play it in English. Not to mention Johnny has played plenty of Japanese titles like Far East of Eden and such.
STAARRRSSSSS 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I am clearing my backlog : DQ11. Just got the ship 😅
Currently Playing: Marvel Midnight Suns, Overwatch 2, Tekken 8, Chained Echoes and The Artful Escape
Thats me just started Mario RPG and it's been great so far. Somehow missed it on the SNES all those years ago but so glad i'm finally getting to go through it.
I'm working my way through Armored Core 6. I really like it, but am struggling with some of the bosses.
Man AC6 was my GOTY. Just get shotgun. Two song bird cannons and you obliterate every boss. If you feel more confident take a piledriver.
Awesome game.
so many games to play, i still have 5 or 6 PS4 games to play. It would be a dream to have the time to play those old console games again. Life is too short😫
I'm waiting for Sandland to arrive, I always wait for the reviews nowadays, your review got me hooked. Currently (re)playing Shogo Mobile Armor Division on my retro PC.
I am *so* tempted to grab this one. Like you, played Suikoden on the PS1 back in the day. …oh man, but my backlog! In other news, currently re-visiting FF 15.
Take a shot every time Johnny says Suikoden 🥃
Woah! I didn’t know Johnny was int Poly-Mega-amory!
I started and am really enjoying Dave the Diver, and Another Crab’s Treasure. Both are delightful so far.
I just back into Horizon Forbidden West. Still have to finish the Burning Shores expansion. I always forget how much I love that game
So sad Yoshitaka Murayama died. Such a young man too. I pray for his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
I hope the Eiyuden Chronicle team is able to make a sequel to this masterpiece!
Does the Polymega play games imported from Japan?
Playing Eiyuden Chronicle and loving it so far. Haven't played the originals, but I am glad the remakes are coming.
The polymega has attachments that can be bought so it plays SNES and NES games.
Only been playing my PSVR2 its amazing! Slowly getting a collection going. Love Puzzling Places and Angry Birds is fun
Man, gotta ty for the super old Xenoblade review with Kim. I finally picked up a switch in January while in Japan and couldn't decide on RPG's. Let's just say we got back Jan 15th and I'm now on the last part of Xenoblade 3. I LOVE the series! Right up there with playing FF7 through first time
playedthe last couple of days Elex 2 and Spyro on the Xbox and Mario Kart Double Dash on the Game Cube again..
you have still a very excellent channel. keep it up and thanks a lot for your uploads
I played Rising and am really enjoying Hundred Heroes. Loved the original Suikoden games, played all 5 of them.
I know it is crazy how fast Johnny must have to go through games
I ordered a polymega deluxe bundle on April 5th, it arrived April 13th, I absolutely love this thing. I'm STILL installing games onto the 4TB SSD i installed in it. I'm at around 400 games installed so far with way more to go. I don't even have the N64 module yet to do my N64 carts! :-)
I absolutely love suikoden , one of my favorite games ! and Eiyuden is an amazing spiritual successor in my opinion, still playing through due to work hours but im loving every moment i spend on the game !
John what software do you use to edit?
Thank you for being one of my favorite parts of Sunday for another week, Johnny
I love all these older titles coming back with a fresh facelift. This is great to see right off the heels of Star Ocean Second Story R. Now we just need The Legend of Dragoon, lol. I'm currently playing Gauntlet Dark Legacy and Helldivers 2!
Another game that looks very similar to Eiyuden Chronicle based on what you showed is Unicorn Overlord by Vanillaware - It's SO GOOD! Tactical JRPG. Beautiful and very similar graphics. Loving it so far.
