there was once a game that I wanted to try out, it was being developed, and there were a few beta testers who made videos of it on this very platform, it had so much potential, with characters and bosses and a story that could have grown into something grand. but then, another company caused all sorts of trouble against the game developers, and they were forced to shut it all down. The company that caused the trouble then forcibly deleted both the videos and accounts of the people who had videos of the game. I don't remember the name of the game, it was spelled in Korean, the text and character speech thankfully had decent translation, but the name of the game itself did not. To give an example of some of the characters and bosses, one of the ones I would have enjoyed battling was a boss/character known as the king of storm and sun, a pretty cool character. The game itself was not bad, its just all due to a number of issues between companies.
Hey Jared, what honestly inrigues me the most about is that Last of Us 2 made neither list. You mentioned missing Tsushima, so did you not end up playing this either? If you did, what are your thoughts?

@@father042 No, I think he meant the new COD game, but why would a stealth game from 2005 be on a list of the worst games of 2020? And wait, did you mean to say Snake Eater? The MGS game that took place during the 1960's? That game wasn't called Cold War, dude, it was called Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. But I definitely agree that fast and furious crossroads should've been on the list too. Anything fast and furious related has always sucked.
The Warcraft III thing legitimately bummed me out. I'm an adult; I have real-world life or death problems that generally give me enough sense of perspective not to get worked up over relatively frivolous things like video games. But damn, Warcraft III was my childhood and apparently meant more to me than I realized. Knowing that the Reforged debacle pretty much guarantees that it won't have another chance at being legitimately remade for a very long time, if ever, is such a disappointment. What a waste.
"This hardly inspires any amount of confidence in Amazon's other projects." You fucking called it! Maybe it's better now, but when a glitch physically damages one's computer, that's unforgiveable.
you know whats i find funny, my aunt got cyberpunk for her xbox one and not once did she find any form of bugs on it in her three playthroughs of the game, the thing is there is plenty of evidence of it being broken, and all my aunt experience tells me how temperamental bugs really are. they either decide to show themselves or hibernate for all eternity
The same happened for me on PS4. I had some bugs, yes, but nothing as bad as what others were reporting, like cars exploding at random or players being flung halfway across the world map cuz they stepped off a curb. Probably the weirdest was during the Heist mission when you step into the hotel room with Jackie and some environmental objects would freak out and and implode upon itself, filling my screen with rapid moving geometry (ever seen a rag doll model move where limbs move inward on its body if it lands at a weird angle? It was like that.) but even that was fixed with a simple quick load.
I think the part about Deforged should've mentioned how it also provided an apparently simple update patch to the original game, but what that patch actually did was remove your game until you paid for Deforged. The only way people who bought the original can still play it is by installing a previous version from a local copy and not playing online.
"And you have to use motion controls. You can't play this with the pro controller or in handheld mode." Not to sound like I'm defending Cooking Mama Cookstar but you can turn off the motion controls and play it in handheld mode.
Nice to see pro Jared is an honest gamer who isn't selling out to microtransactions and monetization. Also it's nice to see someone bringing up cdpr crunch
Checked in after a long time and it is funny that public shaming on personal matters never works, it is like people had nothing to do but hate on somebody else. Godspeed Jared 💪
Nope. And even if the virus went away forever everything else that happened this year has set things in motion that guarantee the worst is yet to come. One such example being here in America 60 percent of ALL the money ever printed in the Country since we got off the gold standard was in the last 10 months. Can't wait for depression levels of hyper inflation, paying out the ass in taxes, or more than likely both. Enjoy having money to buy video games with. That shits coming to an end real soon pending a financial miracle. So, yeah, it's going to get nightmarishly worse.
You forgot the part of Warcraft 3 Reforged forces players to "update" to the new version, effectively removing the original version of the game (Reign of Chaos) from existence online and forcing the upgrade to "The Frozen Throne" expansion pack, *even if you hadn't bought The Frozen Throne and were playing the original version.* It's worse than a bad game, it actively ruins a classic.
Watching Jared complain about the physics in Fall Guys while walking straight into a pit in Roll Out is some powerful "Mom! This game is broken!" energy.
Avengers can be TL;DR'd with "please, no more lootershooters, they're all bad, we know they're all bad, and we're freaking _done_ with them, just _stop_ already".
CD Projekt Red really fumbled the ball on this one. Hoping they catch it before it falls, but i wasn't really interested in buying the game anyway. My uncle did buy the PS4 version and...honestly i would put that money towards buying plenty of good discounted games on steam. Such a shame...
Obviously this is an opinion piece and to judge your opinions is kind of silly, but I'm gonna do just that for funsies. I don't feel like Fall Guys deserves to be on a Top 10 Worst lists. It's great fun, and its controls are great even if sometimes the physics can get nuts. It also has a system that is extremely refreshing, play the game, get loot, play well at the game, get more loot, and if you want to get a couple extra outfits, here they are at a cheap price. Me and my brother are both better at platformers then our friends, so we would consistently get to the finals, while they struggled a bit more, which while multi-team mini-games are the worst part of Fall Guys, it still felt like skill gets you further, and luck just helps. For someone who finds zero enjoyment out of Among Us, even finding popular streams of it to be wildly obnoxious in nature, it made me sad to see people in the pop culture world of gaming transition to that. But then again some of that blame should fall to the creators of Fall Guys, I mean another egg scramble mini-game? Really? Either way, I get it's a personal preference for you, and I'm not bashing the opinion or anything like that, I just feel it's a quality fun game to play with friends.
Yeah I don't really get the issue he has with it. The controls work perfectly fine and saying "precision" platforming is kind of a joke, it's really not a demanding game. Like if you got tired of playing the same stuff over and over and are taking a break to wait for new content I get it, and the issue of friends of differing skill levels causing a lot of down time is legitimate.. But its inclusion in this video didn't make much sense. He clearly doesn't even come close to the wall and of course it doesn't grab on, and he goes on to say it arbitrarily decides when it wants to work or not, while showing a clip of him just flat walking off a ledge..?
HOLY FUCKING SHIT. When you started talkin about battle passes, I was like "well yeah, every game has a battle pass now." but each character having its own is fucking insaaaaaaaaane.

@@TheStargov I believe NieR Reincarnation and the NieR Replicant remake will come out next year
I thought Fall Guys was fun, but I lost interest after a few weeks. It needed more. I personally don't think it deserves bottom 10, much less WORSE than Avengers
Fall Guys is not bad. It's the type of game that i'ts pretty fun... until you get bored after some time. I don't think it deserves to be in the list.
I feel that ProJared judged this game based on his personal experience and how bad he is on it. When you don't play well a game, the first thing you think about it is that it's a bad game.
@@Debloko666 this i agree. as he was saying the game needs precise controls i was constantly yelling for him to just dive over that ledge. fall guys hardly requires you to be that precise, just a bit of strategy, hand-eye coordination, and luck is enough
to be fair, fall guys is kinda a one trick pony kind of game. its just the same few game types on loop. some people will get countless hours of fun and others will lose interest after the first few rounds.

Where's Fast and furious Crossroads?
In the trash unopened.

Where tf is Cold War?? That game sucked ass
@@codered1132 That stealth game from 2005?
@@father042 No, I think he meant the new COD game, but why would a stealth game from 2005 be on a list of the worst games of 2020? And wait, did you mean to say Snake Eater? The MGS game that took place during the 1960's? That game wasn't called Cold War, dude, it was called Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. But I definitely agree that fast and furious crossroads should've been on the list too. Anything fast and furious related has always sucked.

Projared changed his mind on Fall Guys today, he likes it now. Currently he's playing Fall Guys on Twitch.
I'd honestly forgotten that Warcraft 3 Reforged came out this year... wow. Just... wow.
I think this covid-19 game should be number 1, so many bugs that made the game unenjoyable for me.
I legitimately gasped when I saw that Avengers had a separate battle bass for each character.

"Pics or it didn't happen..." 🤭
"This hardly inspires any amount of confidence in Amazon's other projects." You fucking called it! Maybe it's better now, but when a glitch physically damages one's computer, that's unforgiveable.
I didn't know about all that cooking mama drama. Kinda sad :(
you know whats i find funny, my aunt got cyberpunk for her xbox one and not once did she find any form of bugs on it in her three playthroughs of the game, the thing is there is plenty of evidence of it being broken, and all my aunt experience tells me how temperamental bugs really are. they either decide to show themselves or hibernate for all eternity
Jared : there is no progression or anything in cooking mama
Also Jared : "more recipe"
??????
I think the part about Deforged should've mentioned how it also provided an apparently simple update patch to the original game, but what that patch actually did was remove your game until you paid for Deforged. The only way people who bought the original can still play it is by installing a previous version from a local copy and not playing online.
"And you have to use motion controls. You can't play this with the pro controller or in handheld mode."
Not to sound like I'm defending Cooking Mama Cookstar but you can turn off the motion controls and play it in handheld mode.
Nice to see pro Jared is an honest gamer who isn't selling out to microtransactions and monetization. Also it's nice to see someone bringing up cdpr crunch
I agree with this except Fall Guys.
It may not have the hyped it used to have but still it is a fun game to come back.
Checked in after a long time and it is funny that public shaming on personal matters never works, it is like people had nothing to do but hate on somebody else. Godspeed Jared 💪
Am I the only one who's tired of people pretending like everything will suddenly change for the better when the new year hits?
If you described the Avengers game without using the name to someone they'd 100% be like, "That mobile game sounds boring."
"2020 sucked" that's an understatement mate.
Understatement of the fking millenium.

@@skydiamsteam6005 I know what I said.
PikaLink91 Bruh, this guy not getting the joke
@Chic 'N' Stu Yes, because it can’t be stated enough.
For something as big as Cyberpunk to be unlisted by Sony is the pinnacle of embrassment.
CD Projekt Red really fumbled the ball on this one. Hoping they catch it before it falls, but i wasn't really interested in buying the game anyway. My uncle did buy the PS4 version and...honestly i would put that money towards buying plenty of good discounted games on steam. Such a shame...

"Six months worth of patches." Wow, that was optimistic.
@@Poefred I saw that. He comes across as gamer that when he fails it's the games fault.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT. When you started talkin about battle passes, I was like "well yeah, every game has a battle pass now." but each character having its own is fucking insaaaaaaaaane.
