Ngl the Furious 5 been getting sidelined since KF2, only character that really was important for Po's story in KF2 was Tigress. But then in KF3, her role was being a babysitter which was cute but still kinda sad she didn't get a bigger role imo. I still want to see the Furious 5 get a role by fighting against the return trilogy villains or at least help Po fight the Chameleon's army. If not then that's depressing n the Furious 5 deserve better. Maybe a movie or tv series of them would be nice for Furious 5 fans since they haven't show up in Paws of Fury or Dragon Knight

@@impackmusiq5236I feel like they're setting up a new generation kung fu panda sadly, I do agree that the Fox character was lackluster I hope that in the next movie she'll be better, and I honestly believe the movie needed more run time the gaining others kung fu scene was way short with I like how they made Tai Lung fight back before the inevitable they could have done that for the other two main villains Kai and Shen should have had a fight scene.

Lord shen and kai do appear in the movie but they don't talk at all, and so do the furious five, the furious five went on their own missions but they appear in the end training the next dragon warriors aka zhen the fox

I really hope these are only just rumours. Because most of the time, recasts don’t go well for fans. The Kung Fu Panda franchise is so great and does so many things well, I would just hate it if the fourth one ended up flopping, or as some fussy critics would say “ruins the franchise” because these movie have been part of my childhood and I don’t want to see that happen.
I'm fine with the Furious Five not appearing as this is more about Po's journey. Though I feel like context matters in whether they'll be potentially recast or not have a speaking role in this movie. They could either have been too busy with other roles, taking a break from acting or just not interested in being in the 4th one. I mean apparently Jackie Chan is working on another Rush Hour movie. The worst case scenario is that they weren't approached for the this one and were just recast without a heads up.
Shen could be resurrected possibly depending on the lizards magic but Kai is completely gone he isn’t even dead he got erased.

That’s sad. The first kung fu panda movie was the one I grew up with and love the most. Kung fu panda 2 was also a great movie as well but 3 was kinda meh. Idk if kung fu panda 4 will be a good movie or not, because of the furious five only getting small roles. They are the best characters in the kung fu panda movies, and hearing that they only getting small roles in the 4th movie kinda gets me worried. I probably wait for reviews and then decide, or I just go back to watch the older kung fu panda movies.

Watched the movie, yes shen and kai didnt speak at all. They had like 2 or 3 grunts .including the furious five
I just saw it early today and it was amazing!!! 🤩 🤩🤩 The Milan was so good and there were a lot of good appearances of great villains. Overall, I’m soo glad I got to see it early and would definitely recommend to everyone!

I just realized the other day that KFP2 is the only movie where the five are actually a central point and are on the adventure with po. Quite sad honestly when you think about it.

I watched the movie 4 days ago(when you uploaded this video) and *heavy spoilers*:
The furious five is, infact, not in the movie. They were each on some missions, I don't remember exatly (I only remember Crane being the crocodile king(tf?)). And they also appear in the end when Zhen starts training to become the Dragon Warrior.
And my personal opinion on the movie: It was good, really good.
Very entertaining, Jack Black was obviously amazing, and I surpisingly liked the new character Zhen, however...
It is the worst one out of all of them.
I fealt the Chameleon wasn't that good of a villian (mostly because she's the only villian in the movies not connected to Po, or his friends, at all)
The movie was very short (idk how short compared to previous ones) so I felt like that wasn't enough time to completely develop the characters.
And Tai Lung's "redemption" arc was kinda stupid in my opinion.
But in the end, it's a really good movie worth watching.
I hope they find good voice actors for kai and shen and I hope they still use Kai’s theme
The end credits with the Furious 5 appearing for like ten seconds with no speaking roles or character at all was the most embarrassing attempt at a cash grab I’ve seen in a while.

I feel like ever since KFP 2 they reduced the furious five roles as minor characters. Tigress had a main role in KFP 3 and that’s it. But everyone’s been theorising that the Five got their abilities taken from the Chameleon which would make sense as to why they’re not at the jade palace with Po and Shifu. They were on a mission to stop the Chameleon, and they came back looking damaged like in KFP 1 with Tai Lung. As for Shen and Kai, idk how they returned since Kai died in the spirit realm permanently and Shen wasn’t in the spirit realm because he wasn’t a Kung fu master. Maybe the staff has abilities to summon other realms to bring characters that permanently died? Ig we have to wait and see the movie. But anyways I’m excited!
