Just a note to rides wearing lace up shoes, make sure your laces are short or tucked away. Not much fun getting a lace caught on a peg and you can’t put your foot down, speaking from experience. I was lucky and noticed before I came to a complete stop and quickly switched to my other foot so I didn’t topple over, but could have been bad.
Ditto - same here. Just managed to untangle the loose lace from around the port side foot peg in time to get my foot on the ground - before I would otherwise have been laying trapped beneath my motorcycle. 'Twas very close. A very simple oversight that can turn very nasty 😬. Since then whenever I wear laced boots I make double bows.
Whilst not necessarily a trainer due to the lack of proper laces, I can highly recommend the Rev'It Cayman, vented and perforated boot that just flow a lot of air and feel amazing in the heat. Shame they're only in black but the sole and mostly blacked-out look are class with the Richa Apaches and the Rev'It Cedar hoodie. The only thing I don't like is the dropped back on the ankle digs in a bit after about an hour of walking (because like many people, the bike is my only transport), but otherwise some of the best summer boots I have tried
I can’t speak to a size 15US. But I’m a 13.5-14US (UK12.5-13) and I’d say the Street Air 47 fits a small amount larger than a normal 14US. So if you wanted to test that, it MAY not be as bad as you think. Personally as good as they look, I’d give it a go. Cheers
Hi Ricardo, the Arrow will have more airflow than the Jefferson due to having the 3D Air Mesh: For the outer layer Revit use a matte Nubuck leather which has been partially perforated and backed up by 3D Air Mesh. This construction makes it the ideal choice for those riders seeking comfort in the warmer months, offering improved ventilation throughout the trainer which allows your feet to breathe both on and off the bike. - Iza
There's also an elasticated pull allowing tou to tuck the laces under to prevent the loops flapping around on outside of shoe. At least on UK spec shoes there is.
At 2.39 you show the John Doe Neo in black with brown soles but you don't stock them on your site as far as I can tell. Will you be getting them in at some point or is it an error? Thanks
@@Acarsfault I bought the TCX Street 3 in the end. Green with brown soles. Very pleased. I originally ordered the TCX Dartwood but the zip failed after 2 uses so would avoid those.

TCX needs to make an all black color-way of the Street WP. Idk how that hasn’t been released yet
TCX DARTWOOD GTX - BLACK, or STREET 3 AIR - BLACK. They have many actually, take a look on their website.
Personally, I wouldn't describe £140 as budget or affordable
Hi, I have John Doe for 1 year now. Not very well designed and already visited shoe repair shop. Don’t recommend them unless you use them very rarely.
Any boot with no side zip is a no no 4 me. It just discourages me from riding
Which has the thickest sole? For flat footing
always disappointing that these cool shoes never come in my size (eu50/uk14)

Any in a wide fit?
Hey Tim, what made you go for the arrow? I’m looking for the best off the bike option,
The John Doe Neo looks perforated but it’s not actually perforated, just dimpled.
What's the difference between the Revit Arrow and the Jefferson?

@@UrbanRiderlondon thank you
Laces dangle everywhere
easy solution - tuck them in
Tuck em? Lol.

I'd never buy a boot with a zip.
Why ?
@@Acarsfault They can fail. It happened to a pair I had.
why didn’t the Revit Krait make the list?
could you please do one for stylmartin yuroks?

Glad you like them!
Hi, what colour are the rev-it arrows you are holding in the video, as it cuts to a different pair so I was unsure?
Hi Iain, in the Studio Tim is holding the Brown ones: www.urbanrider.co.uk/revit-arrow-riding-trainers-taupe-brown.html Hope this helps - Iza
