Thanks for the barbarian explanation! I knew that civ was a factor in stopping them, but I didn't realize you could actually check on the spawn points and regions.
great tips, already started a new run applying what i learned on this and your economy vids :) (EDIT: great how you explain things simple and quick, for the future if you keep making good guides, making time stamps for each tip will also make your vids look more "pro" :p, keep that in mind)
Great vid mate, thanks for the tips! Keep up the good work I'm a 100% sure it will pay off. I'll share your channel with my friends as well, might gain you a few views.
@@LordForwind question about the Bribesystem: the money comes from you leader. Would he earn more if you increase the overall spening on office holders? So basically giving him more money while also making all office holders more happy?
hmm not sure myself but I would imagine so, since the leader counts as an office, you can also grant them holdings which help increase their income. Increasing spending on office holders is really only possible if you are super rich
Your guides are very explanatory, good job!! I'd like to ask if you can explain the various governments that IR has. Basically, I'm having trouble understanding how to gain senate support in republics. You literally can do nothing if it goes below 30.
I probably will do that soon, to help in the meantime use the first office in the government office page to promote or oppose certain parties and then fulfill their agendas which you can find there. Also dont be afraid of incurring tyranny be opposing the senate at times.
I played this game for hours before I figured out there were other innovation trees and you had to use the middle mouse wheel to go around in there...I think it was trying to find the tech for the theatre that finally got me to waste time to find it.
4:50 to be fair it's really weird to use the middle button to move around. I've played a lot of strategy games and this is the first time that i had to use that button.
What's your fleet composition to let them hunt pirates and grow to 150 ships? I tried with 15 ships with rome but 10 years later they haven't captured a single one
once i get to the point of having less than 20% of my nation being roman, i get massive revolts because the main culture of the provinces is not of the integrated cultures. then my stab gos down and i get a negative feedback loop. you really need to assimilate provinces before expanding to big, integrating to many cultures brings happiness down thus research, i found building a Theatre in every city and ports for migration along with governing focus set to assimilate makes assimilation go so fast.
If that is an issue go for the innovations that integrate population, most of them are under the religious innovations, also check your AE. I found no issue with revolts when I conquered all of Gaul and Iberia in 60 or so years, but I had all the AE, loyalty and conversion innovations. I also did build theaters everywhere like you did. I recommend trying to convert the religion first then culture. Or you just integrate them like you said.
Try that. It makes a big difference especially if you are Rome or some other massive nation, stability matters more than military innovations. Obvious get legions asap and then again when you hit 500 province, but before that it usually doesnt make a big difference unless you are doing successor wars!
Wow, just started playing a couple of days ago and that first tip is huge for a a lot of reasons. Thanks!
Glad it helped!
Not sure if the details are all up to date with the new patch, but they're really helpful for learning the fundamentals. Thanks!
The new patch didnt change that much, it more fixed issues and allowed for mods to get achievements.
Thanks for the barbarian explanation! I knew that civ was a factor in stopping them, but I didn't realize you could actually check on the spawn points and regions.
Yeah it helps to know when you don't have to keep civilizing
Great guide, thanks a lot! :)
I’ve tried Antigonids and I must say it’s a real challenge !
It really is!

Great to hear! I will probably add some to my existing guides once I figure out how to do it
13:50 yes, and it also removes the barbarian stronghold entirely after a while! So there’s no ambiguity; there will be no more barbs.
yeah wish in someways it was harder to get rid of them since most are gone 20 years into the game
why you don‘t have more views, thats blasphemy! Good vid.
No idea, lack of exposure maybe, these videos are doing great though!

Hey man, thanks for all of these tips videos. I was really overwhelmed coming from CK3
No prob, glad to help!
Thanks again. It really helps me getting my head around all the mechanics of the game
Glad to hear it!

thank you please do more imperator guide
I am, got three more coming out over the next couple of days
Really helpful. Helps me understand what is going on and not just try to play it as if it was EU4. :)
Its eu4 lite now plus some CK3, but yeah slightly different
Great guide, forwind!!! also how's rosie the cat?
Good! She was sleeping in the sun today purring away to an empty room
Thanks for these
Glad you like them! Got a few more already made up!

yeah it was a odd design choice
4:50 to be fair it's really weird to use the middle button to move around.

Yeah its a bit weird, but it makes some sense!
As Rome turning Macedonians into citizens is very helpful as it’s the largest Hellenic group you’ll encounter.
yeah its a bit broken but amazing
Can you do a guide on barbarian/tribal nations
yes I can, once I figure them out more myself
@@LordForwind it's always nice when someone else asks the question you wanted to ask for you, still looking forward to said guide in the future

I did a 30 ship fleet of light ships

Stability? Piggy, Piggy, Stabby, Stabby!
only if you have influence
slaves stacked can make more surpluses to trade on top of giving you more tax.
yeah but its usually not worth the effort moving them just build another trade route for the cost
the maurya empire aren't diadochi
correct!
