- Today (25/04/24) is the first anniversary of the passing of Lance 'Mike' Milton. Lost to MND/ALS, this is a tribute video that I hope pays due respect to an extraordinary Father, Husband, Son, Friend, Mentor (to hundreds of people) and Guitar and Gear Advisor (to thousands of people).
Gone, but certainly not forgotten - and remembered by so many people who he continues to inspire. His legacy lives on, and his star shines bright in the hearts and minds of people from across the world. We love and miss you always.

Thank you Andy for this very kind tribute to Mike/Lance. Although we never got to meet in person, he was always so kind and thoughtful and made you feel like you'd been friends for years. I miss him very much, but his legacy will live on in all of us who came to know and love him through his UA-cam channel. God bless 👍🎸

Lance is very much missed. I still enjoy seeing his old video reviews + demos. He was a very honest guy and a very talented player.

Well done, Andy and to all those involved in the video, from someone who only knew Lance as ‘Mike’ via his UA-cam channel - this just goes to show how much he was loved and that his spirit will always live on in the hearts and minds of those who knew him 👍
sadly missed! and so very cherished! this May will make 2 years since losing our daughter, if I can say anything, I really don't think the pain ever goes away. RIP my sweet friend! We'll meet again!
Beautiful tribute. I still think about Lance every day and my only regret is that we lost touch for so many years before finally reconnecting. He is one of the people who inspired me to start playing again. Love to all his family and friends xxx

One of the best men to grace the world. Thank you for sharing this and your memories of what a wonderful guy he was. I only knew him as Lance, and he was the magic in my life since I was a kid, and will continue to be forever. Whenever I miss him particularly badly I come and watch CGS videos. And, despite the lack of potty mouth, his charm still comes across completely. Love to you and Sarah and family 💜💜💜
Thanks for the reminder. It's so easy to get caught up in lifes humdrum toils, for time to pass so quickly, and to forget it's been a year. It been great to take a quiet moment to reflect on what a warm and sweet guy he seemed even on video. Sad that he's gone, but grateful for crossing paths even if only in a virtual sense.

Can't believe it's a year already. I had a few emails/conversation with Lance about the original guitar festival he was organising if I remember correctly. Such a friendly guy and sorely missed by all. Thanks for this Andy. And thanks for keeping the CGS name going in a small way.
yes as you say it is still very hard to believe & a whole year, Lance is remembered often & remembered as a humorous, kind, family loving man & a good friend 💜

It's been one year... Wow! it doesn't seem like it. You are right. There will never be another like Mike, Lance.
"You'll always get a shirt, you'll always get a badge". I almost lost it at that point. I was also taken aback by the potty mouth at the day I spend at BBGF3! Still gutted, but so pleased I met him if only for the day.
May Lance Rest in Peace. He was such a classy chap. God has a special place in Heaven for him. He will always be remembered. Thank You Andy for doing this Tribute for a Wonderful & Kind Hearted Man.

I visited the channel yesterday as I hadn’t watched Mike in a few years unfortunately. Devastated to hear of his passing, he brought joy to me and many others through his videos and personality, rest in peace Mike
I wasn't expecting to cry this evening, but here I am. Over this past year, I keep hoping I will wake up and find that it was all a horrible dream.

Just watching now, a few minutes in, on my way to work. Mike/Lance was a ray of positivity to everyone who's lives he touched. He never failed to bring a smile to my face when I felt down, always made time when he could ❤
