thanks for the video! i need to practice looping the underspin serve, it always feels like i hit it too hard instead of getting that nice vertical brush.
@@Technical.Table.Tennis maybe drills to stop ball-watching (might just be footwork) but i tend to hit a good shot and not properly prepare for the next one. thanks for the reply!
We explained it more deeply in out return any serve video. But quickly : your return it just like underspin, but count for the sidespin. And you return it just like topspin but you count for the topspin
You mean high serves? Generally you want to smash high serves. Don’t rush into it, but don’t take it too late until it falls too. And then the next factor is the spin, when it is underspin you want to get the underspin to help you get the ball down, and you will hit forward ( we talked about this at the end of the video “ how to forehand loop against underspin” , for topspin, hit it down, the topspin will bring it up, and sidespin is a mix of both, and try aiming for the middle so that the sidespin doesn’t affect you
Yeah, we thought of this video not as a full guide but just as a few steps to return long serves better. We have talked about every spin in our other video
We are going to do a full guide on the backhand loop, which will be up in 2 weeks! Stay tuned for that! It will be all we know about the backhand, and btw we trained with the guy with the best backhand in lebanon, and learned some extra tips which will help you out a ton
Personally, when it is really heavy sidespin, i like to go against it, because if i go with the spin it would just go to the side. So i recommend you to take it with you forehand, that way you go against the spin and it will be easier for you to return
Hey robert! How are you! Bryan is thinking about starting it back up soon, did you feel like you were benefiting from it? Would you like us to open in again?
Great tips! Thanks for starting to upload again!
Any time!
Thanks!

@@Technical.Table.Tennis how to return against mounted forehand top spin loop
What do you mean? You mean counter loop?
Great tips :) but i want to know one thing, how to return long sidespin with backspin or topspin ?

Can you do a video on tall serves next? I don't know how to counter play when my opponent serves from the top of a 10-foot ladder
