I had to learn about this sleek tree as part of my english syllabus.. Thanks and loads of love from India🇮🇳! 😍❤💖
Thank you xo❤😊
I love nature and wildlife, thank you!
Hi, I'm a pen maker using a wood and metal lathe. I always research on the woods that I use. I now have you to add to my research list as I just subscribed. Also I have seen this bush/tree but never knew what it was so thank you for educating me.
It is such a beautiful tree, it's a shame folk are probably put off growing it in their gardens because of it's poisonous nature.
yes, although it is often found in gardens, you have to think twice around young children!
Thank you very much
You are welcome! 🌿
Thinking of adding a laburnum into my garden after I lost my Eucalyptus in storm Arwyn.
After your video it definitely seeld the deal.
Awesome!!
Liked It - living curious … through you 😉
Awesome!!
Beautiful golden color, thanks for sharing. Greetings from a new friend.💖
Such a beautiful tree :) welcome

see the beautiful tree I just found recently. Cheers.
I have one of these in my new yard..I didn't realize it was poisonous and planted berries and cucumber under it. Chat GPT told me the poison from falling flowers or seeds could poison my berries..is this true? I ended up replanting the berries elsehwere.
of course the pesky mice are probably NOT affected? or maybe mix it with mouse bait?
As you said we won't find a nest on the tree. There is actually a poem by Ted Hughes called THE LABURNUM TOP in which he talks about a Goldfinch and her nest on the top of this tree
Anyhow thanks for this video
I'll have to look that poem up, thank you 🌿
Great info thanks.
No worries 🌿
@@LeaveCurious Are we going to have more tree talks this summer?
@@Andrew-cp9me yes I plan on doing some, any trees you’d like to see?
@@LeaveCurious
Hi that's great to hear, if you could do a video on the tree in my profile picture, a blossom tree I think that would be brill.
Many Thanks
Andrew
@@Andrew-cp9me alright I’ll make sure I cover a lot more trees this summer !
Just planted and sprouted 5 seeds for bonsai projects,
This is a very good way to introduce tree species. I only wish you'd have said whether the laburnum is native to Britain.
Nope, its not native :) thank you!
@@LeaveCurious It is native to Europe though in which case it can't be that much of a pest surely.
what about dogs, do you think they will eat the pods? if I have dogs should I not get this or will they stay away from it?
How long do they bloom for?
Thanks for the video but here in India we simply boil the leaves and drink the water. Its highly healing and beneficial for the liver. 😊
amazing!
Afonso Guest House So it is not absolutely poisonous.
looks like they are closely related to the black locust tree
Yes as yew is worse ? Love laburnum 👍🏴
In terms of being posionous? IDK!
Walked under these beautiful trees in pushp vihar,.delhi. they are gonna be in my front yard when i build my house
Sounds like a plan.
🌳💐
ما شاء اللہ۔
In which region the laburnum trees found
they're native to the southern part of Europe, but are commonly planted as an amenity/ garden tree.
☺🌳🌟✅👍😉
Sir, thanks for the information but it's not a poisonous tree, that what I got information about the tree had a more medical properties & uses in making Ayurvedic medicine.
Hey no worries! Well, yes and no really... from what I've found its used in medicine to cause vomiting or diarrhoea which could treat something like constipation. But please be aware that it is in fact poisonous and if ingested it will cause you harm.
We call it "amaltaas" in pakistan and india.
awesome!!
Is it Laburnum x Watereri Vosíi ??
I think so, but I'm not certain 🌿
@@LeaveCurious Thanks🌳
@@alenarainova1478 you’re most welcome
Yuck! What’s up with the sticky icky leaking sapping gummy stuff?
I think it might be associated with aphids, but nice description!
