    Nicely done. My advice would be to put the soil in two or four piles when digging your hole rather than mounding soil around the hole and losing sight of the level of the ground

      They are fast growing trees so you could get flowers after about 6 years.

    Solid advice, thanks! Will the same formula work for nursery bought sapling to be plant in pots? I don't have a garden but want to grow a small fruit tree in pot.

      Yes the same formula should work for planting a tree in a pot, although unless it's a very big pot it will be difficult to stake the tree unless you use something thinner like bamboo canes.

    can bare root be bad for the health of the plant?

      It can if not properly cared for as the roots are more disturbed, but the many advantages of bare root usually out weighs the extra damage caused to the roots. The key to success is making sure the roots never dry out and to plant bare root plants as soon as possible.

    I think you should consider uploading videos of just your timelapses. You are really producing two kinds of vidoes in my eyes. The first type are very well informed gardening tips which are very good and informational. And the other kind is the timelapses of plants growing. These videos could do very well as stand alone videos, and feed into the internet craze of things that normaly take mounths or years unfolding before your eyes. They videos where you intergrate them into the videos are also very enjeyable to watch. A small point of criticism is that i would like to see a bit more structure from your videos. It is clear that you have all the information, but your delivery of the information can sometimes detract because of the sort of ramling style of your longer videos. With that said i still love and watch most of your vidoes because i like your approach to gardening and life. You take chances and try to make it work.

      Thanks for your feed back, I'm hoping to do more time lapse videos in the future, at the moment I don't have much filming space so I tend to make shorter ones that I fit into other videos. Budget depending I'm hoping to build a studio shed next year with a dedicated time lapse filming section where I can have multiple time lapses filming at the same time in a controlled environment. I'll try to make my videos a little more structured in the future, I think I need to put more work into planning before filming, at the moment most of my time is spent on filming and editing with little time spent on planning or scripting. I'm glad you enjoy my videos and thanks for watching.

    They are poisonous

    • @Gardeningat58N
      @Gardeningat58N  2 роки тому

      Yes, but they are safe as long as you don't eat any of the plant, this variety doesn't usually produce any seeds which are usually the most dangerous part as children sometimes think the seeds are sweets.
