Most people chose automatics for the smooth easy shifting it provides, but it takes a good set of skills to run a manual & the way this man ran this car takes a unique set of honed skilled, he shifted each gear without lagging, grinding & most importantly missing any gears.......all while doing it super super quick.
the car never came off 7K after shifting into 2nd had to shift it early. 3rd gear was longer cause 2nd gear was shorter. i shift the car at 6500 every time and elapse times are within .003 depending on weather. Consistency is the key to winning

I got everything you could get for this trans for upgrades besides straight cut gears cause they were not legal for a class I was gonna race. It was right around the area of 3400 for the trans setup. I have an adjustable base pressure clutch with counterweight arms on it that was around 700 with the clutch trans and bell I have around 4500 total into this trans
To Joe Schmo. The car spun a lil bit that was the reason for the short shift from first to 2nd. It has mt et drag tires 28x10.5 stiff side wall. 4:56 rear end gear, and Team Z motorsports suspension.
You did a great shifting job for letting off between gears and not slamming it too hard. I believe a stock T5 would have almost survived a couple passes
I used to run a stock 4 cyl t-5 a long time ago it was still working when I took it out but it made a lot of noise. That was also with an old engine combo with a lil bit less power. I recently put one in the car cause I needed a backup because my transmisson was being serviced the 1st gear ratio was way to high with the new combo and it would almost drag the rear bumper on the ground from wheelstands.

what kind of tires are you runnin? I had drag radicals on a booster 331, had 600 tq to the wheel and I couldn't hook at 2200 rpm
