Booker hasn't peaked he needs to be the number 1 on his own team. The sun's and clippers are alike and when kd Westbrook and harden on the thunder. The issue when you load up stars on a team if they play similar and there all on the court together the issue is they play too much isolation ball and it's my turn your turn. Too much deferring and not wanting to take away each other's shine. It limits certain players momentum in the game and it makes it harder for a player to get in rhythm. When you have 1 star and role players or 2 stars and role players the offense runs smoother. Toi many stars takes away each players dominant traits on the court. Now of you have a star point guard and a star center that combination works more. The sun's other issue is they are a jump shooting team first and foremost. In a 7 game series if your not hitting your shots on any given night it's easier for the other team to quietly build a lead on you. Then your trying to play catch up by jacking up too many 3s. You gotta have a better structure and game plan when you have that many stars that are pure scorers.

George Karl description of Melo is spot on for KD. He's a supremely talented mama's boy who never developed toughness. Cupcake was an accurate description of going to the team that beat him. The same softness that made him go to GS is the same that's getting him swept. His heart doesn't measure to his incredible talent and skill

James is not wrong. Outside of Kerr, theres not a coach that has gotten the true best out of KD and that was an once in a generation situation.
KD leads by example naturally but he needs a coach that balance what he lacks in accountability day to day or whatever that's setting him back on the court. Tim had Pop, they balanced each other out leadership wise. Same thing goes for a bunch of other combinations.

With all due respect, I would trade KD with Beal, so a team can only get KD if they get Beal.

You can keep Book that way, and trade and keep a few good players you have on the Bench (Gordon was a good shooter but a lousy defender, Bol is a good hype man but a weakness defensively with no good playmaking).
But what team would go for a KD and Beal trade? (And I would def give them a discount on Beal cause otherwise youll never lose him.
Prob call the teams that didnt make the playoffs, everyone knows you might get swept but KD will bring you to the playoffs, probably still at 38. Def wipe any random play-in team. Even if his team sucks.
So thats good for: 30-15 so half the League, was Ishbia almost right. Well, Spurs wont, so 14. Nets and Heat wont. So 12, Lakers and Warriors wont, so 10. 10 is a big number, it could work.
Only downside is KD is forever linked to Beal till his retirement. But the coach could bench Beal, or use him only as relief pitcher, like Vogel shouldve done, if not bench.
But it could work, and then you have Booker, Grayson and Gordon, Nurk, some young wings (Drew, Roddy, Nas, Young), hopefully draft picks, a PG, a big man, a few smart defenders. And then Draft a scorer. Builld up: and have a chance around Book's 30th birthday. Get 2 chances for a ring. Atleast a conference finals again.
