Nobody does less with more than Doc Rivers. It’s kinda amazing just how long he’s been able to live off that one championship and the amount he’s underachieved and choked away so many opportunities despite consistently coaching very talented teams for so many years.

I’m not sure many people believed Doc was every very good over time - the media for whatever reason kept pushing the narrative that he is an elite coach. The guy couldn’t make simple adjustments a decade ago and still continuing. His competitors are looking forward to playing against them to get a W.
He has the aura of a great coach. He isn't one though.
Media buys into the aura and massively, massively overrated him.

That's what happens when you aren't a very good X's and O's coach who can't assess his players strengths and more importantly weaknesses. Seriously I been saying that about Doc basically since he arrived in LA and repeatedly failed to make any deep playoff runs forget reaching the Finals they didn't even sniff a conference championship appearence with very talented teams. He may interview well and be a good motivator in the locker room but he's never been talked up as being an adjuster either in lineup selection to possibly create matchup issues or improve the 2nd team when coming off the bench or even coming out of halftime recognizing what might improve play on offense or defense!!! The Big 3"s early success and getting a ring in Boston after what rosters Doc acquired through Danny Ainge's brilliant front office decisions and trades certainly led to people feeling like he was far better than what we all have now witnessed in a decade plus of coming up short with enough talent to confuse anyone who knows that coaching does matter especially when the game comes down to a few possessions in the clutch moments regardless of what Kyrie said in Brokklyn

I want to see Adrian Griffin get another head coaching job in the NBA. I think many of us are taking this for granted, it's not easy to win 30 games in the NBA by the All-Star break (mid-season). If anything, the team is showing us right now that it wasn't easy.
It's the Bucks front office who must accept responsibility for the teams struggles. Going 30-13 was simply not good enough for this front office, so they fired coach Griffith to hire Doc Rivers who is under .500. Suddenly the front office is content with losing.
Is Giannis blameless in all this? Did his opinion on coaching and on acquiring Lillard have any influence? Wondering.

Right. Solely on the front office. It has nothing to do with the most powerful person in the organization, who has also put public pressure on them in the past. Giannis probably had no idea what was going on.

That team was one of the most complete, well put together rosters (Ainge) this century, and they had smart players who kept the standard and accountability high on their own. Doc probably did what he could to mess it up, but it just wasn't enough.

My god as a Bucks fan, this last back-to-back getting rinsed by two bottom dwellers was about as frustrating as it gets. Anyone shooting 1-10 from 3 is inexcusable, change it up in that case on the night, teams scoring lay ups for fun and the Bucks looking like they dont know how to score a easy bucket.
