Welcome to Astrid Blazer sew-along step-by-step tutorial. Today I’ll show you how to make this blazer using my new sewing pattern called “Astrid”. Featuring a double-breasted style, lapel collar, oversized fit, fully lined, long sleeves with optional buttons, and a front button fastening. Things I used in this video:
- Sewing machine: Brother JK4000
- Material: 210cm of wool mix fabric and 145cm of lining fabric
- My measurements: 92-70-93cm and I’m 167cm tall. I usually wear UK size 8

Hice la chaqueta en talla 50, y también desperdicié tela, ya que cuando unes las piezas, no coinciden, al menos en esta talla, no está bien escalada, tuve que hacer malabares para lograr una manga y sisas acorde al resto, también los largos no coinciden, así que casi al terminar, cuando coses el borde de abajo, no quedan parejos, tremendo, como dije quizá sea en esta talla el error, pero esta fue mi experiencia, además a la persona que según tu tabla es 50, le quedó enorme, todo un disgusto😫😫

The blazer looks cute on you. However, the pieces and the construction is a bit off. The pattern pieces are not in dimension with eachother. The sleeves are extremely short and the size chart runs at least 3 sizes too small. Overall this project has been the most frustrating I've ever done, I've been going on for 5 weeks and I'm still not finished. Although the blazer looks nice and clean on you, I'm very disappointed on the overall constuction of the pattern. I've lost a beautiful wool fabric on this project.
