- I need help diagnosing an issue with cooling. All the coolant lines were ran correctly, but very little water is coming through the coolant lines. Something is stopping the water flow and I cannot find any blockages. Got any ideas?!?

Also big thanks to Mark@EricksonMachinePerformance for all the videos. He has been a huge help to me through this journey with 2 strokes. If you like working on your jet-ski give them a subscribe! - Навчання та стиль
Those mariner heads were known for blowing head gaskets. Get a new head gasket and make sure the head is flat and not cracked. When the head gasket blows out like that, exhaust will get into the cooling passages and it will cause a weak and or steamy pisser stream and overheating.
Thanks for the reply! This what I was expecting.
Well, just my 2 cents here. As an owner, rider, and amateur racer in the late 80s and 90s that had every modification you could have on my 650, Dual carbs, full port job, total loss ignition, Coffman exhaust, magnum pumps, everything! I had nothing but trouble from the very same red mariner head!! Better check compression. I was running a race gas mixture. I removed that head and went with ocean pro and my problems disappeared! That was 1992! I repeatedly blew Head gaskets, and seized pistons! I would also suggest running duel cooling!
It's from running it on a hose and blowing the head gasket out like too much pressure. Or running it and getting it hot out of the water then putting it in the water and starting it up.
Or improper torquing, those are my three guesses on the same problem I'm having as you are. I have double cooling.
I’v had exactly the same on my absolutely newly rebuilt engine yesterday. It’s a gasket 100%
In my case problem was with threads of the block which are holding studs..
The tray on your 650 looks great. I’m chasing a cooling issue in my 650 sc
does the hull fill with water as you run it? The inlet spigot likes to crack & dump in the hull before it gets to the exhaust manifold inlet. : l
@@timewa851 no the hull is dry
did the head gasket fix the cooling ?
Did the head gasket fix it I’m fighting the same issue! It’s driving me crazy
Check threads of the studs in block. Some of my were dead and because of that gasket was blowing
