I’m the neighbor across the street from the first video. I heard a lawnmower yesterday and went to see who’d be trying to mow in the rain. It was Mark cutting the grass and I thought he was nuts. I’m going to revise my noise assessment from our original review. I think when that motor spools up in the heavy stuff it’s every bit as loud as a gas mower. But no denying it did cut everything, water soaked and all.

I bought the Makita after watching your last video. $628 delivered from HD. For $471 less, I will mow slower and be quite happy. I will say that the Makita hasn't left those blade swirls like your Milwaukee seems to have done. The Makita is almost identical to using my Lawnboy M-Series without the noise or the fumes. @@krazmokramer I looked at the Makita yesterday. It is super heavy duty. My only concern is that the handle doesn't fold for storage. I am tight for space and I am struggling with the decision. It would be nice if Makita had that same lawnmower with a foldable handle.
Both the Makita and Milwaukee look top notch. Both are priced similarly for their top of the line models. I think it comes down to personal choice.

Yeah I was between the two as well. I ended up going Milwaukee because I already use the platform for work tools and the 2 12ah batteries + dual bay rapid charger is $700 on its own. So the mower is about $400-$500 on its own which seems fair. Milwaukee should offer it as tool only for those who already have batteries. Although it definitely eats batteries. I tried my 6ah and it worked for like 15 minutes lol

One thing I've heard a couple times with these is how if you accidently hit some solid obstruction, like a small stump or deent rock, the plastic housing that the motor connects to the deck with, cracks and/or dismounts. And the mower is fucked. For homeowners, its not as big a deal, but if using it commercially sometimes at a new place with thick grass, stuff can hide and that is one expensive mistake.

U have to also consider tho that it comes with 2 of the giant batteries from milwaukee. Those batteries r $250 per battery if u were to go buy them separately. And it comes with a charger. So if u have other milwaukee tools u can then use those batteries and said charger to operate more then just ur lawn mower. So technically if they were to sell the mower all by itself it would more then likely be a 5-600 dollar mower.
