    I just want to point out that Joe's manual out of the wallride was low key nuts. Shifting your weight and manualing out of a transition like that is super awkward. 10/10

      The jump isnt the problems it's a sharp turn for the speed on wood. Imagine in the wet🤮

    Me after the first test runs: "looks like it has surprisingly good grip, maybe they are fine"

      My thoughts as well! I was expecting a crash on the first run, but was a bit wrong.
      Can be fixed with chicken wire or groove channels in the wood for extra traction.

    As soon as you started building the bridge I was thinking it should be slightly banked like a berm because of the speed you're carrying, you sliding out confirmed it 😂. Absolutely awesome Seth love your videos man.

    One of my favorite parts about this channel is being able to watch it evolve from, berm creek with just a few trails to basically a full operation building all these amazing trails, and we can’t forget about berm park. So much amazing stuff, and I just love it!

    Hi Setth. Short question. So from a nearly vertical wall ride, it transitions into a completly flat bridge. Why wouldn't the bridge have at least a little bit of angle? It would still be 'easy' but be a lot safer. Probably you wouldn't crash if it was angled. Anyways. What do I know.... Great video and great work!

      It was mostly a consequence of poor planning, but once the trail dries out and hardens mud shouldn’t be an issue

      I think an inward bank could be easily added by installing shims under the outside end of the oak planks.

      @@SethsBikeHacks I would consider putting small grooves in the surface of the wood to give yourself more leeway for hard shreds. Love the vids keep it up 👍🏼

    Not a trail builder but I've ridden wood features in the PNW that are covered with chicken wire (stapled/nailed to the wood planks) to improve slick conditions, rain, wet mud etc..

    As I watched the bridge being built, I knew someone was going to slip on it eventually. Happened sooner than I thought, and didn't look fun! I think you need a bit more of a bank for that curve, else it'll probably keep happening.

    a classic trick from my local trails is covering wooden features prone to slipping with chicken wire in the middle for extra traction

    Hey Seth and Co. Could you guys have kevin talk about what he has learned when it comes to trail building? Maybe some techniques for using hand tools? I've learned a bit about using my Rogue Hoe tools properly/more efficiently but there is definitely more to learn.

    As soon as I saw the finished bridge I knew there was going to be a slip out. Need some more camber on that thing. Maybe build a lip on the outside edge?

    Seth, i must say the drone shots of the trail are some of the coolest in the videos in my opinion. Really like seeing everything from above as it gives a good representation of what there is, and the size of your property.

    Just an idea… maybe if you made a wall/bank of 30 degree angle or something towards the right side of the bridge where you turn to bank yourself a bit so your bike would be able to sit more perpendicular to the bridge surface decreasing the risk of sliding out. It could sit far to the right so it is optional but can be used to carry speed more safely. Could be a simple solution but it is just an idea. Great video Seth 🤟

    How do you have so much confidence on the wood? I always feel like there’s going to be no traction on it, especially if it’s wet… does anyone ever put grip tape on wood features?….
    Edit; So after watching for a little while it looks as if there’s not so much traction on the wood 🤣
