Thank you for actually showing the problems with the plants instead of showing a healthy one and just talking about it
It’s amazing how you brought that plant back to life!!! You answered all of my questions and concerns about aloe. Now I think I can safely fell confidence in caring for my plant. I received it as a gift from my neighbor ❤.
Glad it was helpful!
Wow, I cannot believe the difference in one week. What a great video. Thank you very much.
Thank you. That same thing happened to mine cuz I took it out of the shade. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you so much for this clear and easy to follow video. I’m very grateful and so is ‘Vera’ my aloe plant :)

Ya me too ❤
This is an amazing video

Thank you I always have problems with my Aloe Vera, I almost gave up! but I'm gonna try one more time. lol
Did you have any luck?
Thank you! I live in Arizona and have a huge Aloe plant in my back yard and it's been there a long time. Every summer it's turns red, curls up a bit, and the tips dry. I can't move it because it's just too big but in an effort to not give it root rot, I don't think I'm watering it enough. I also should probably thin it a bit and transplant the the babies. Again, thank you. It was very helpful to see the plants and have you explain.
Great! Hope your plant stays green this summer
You could provide it some shade with a shade cloth or a taller plant that likes the sun better. In the height of summer is where that will help the aloe most.
Thank you for sharing this information.. It helps
Thank you!
Very great video. I recently bought a new house and it is a blank canvas. Therefore I wanted to do a lot of aloe vera and agave cactus plants. I got a lot of baby aloe vera plants from a friend and planted them, but had no idea what to do with them as far as care. I knew they were drought tolerant, but wanted to make sure I didn’t overwater or underwater them. Your video was a great help. Thank you.
I am glad it was helpful
This had everything I needed thank you! Finally something That makes sense!
Good information.. beautiful demonstration
This has been invaluable! Thanks!

Thank you
Excellent. This was very helpful. Thank you. 100% A+
Glad it helped!
Thank you so much!
You are welcome
Thank you for this helpful video. I was given an aloe plant recently which is more of a dusky pink/gray in areas. I repotted it in good soil, but now wonder if it is still getting too much sun, although it only gets eastern sun for a few hours. I would like to keep it by my front door, but if it gets worse, I'll bring it inside and hope it turns a vibrant green. I couldn't find any info on the odd color, so this video was very helpful.
Great
Thank you so much, you saved my plant! It was red-brown and now is bright green😍
Awesome
Hi! This video was so helpful, I put my aloe Vera out in the sun because I thought it would like it but its gone brown, good to know I can rescue it, thank you!
me too! now i know better
Thank you! I was confused why my plant was orange. I thought it wanted a lot of sun, turns out I need to put it more in the shade!
Haha
This is the best video on this topic
Thank you
Thank you - very very helpful, hopefully my Aloe will look better in a weeK :)
Thanks so much for this great video. I guess I was giving my aloe too much sun and not enough water.
I am glad it was helpful
Thank you

I have a problem with my Aloe Vera plants & hope to find a solution from your experience, my Aloevera plants looking healthy , green with good gel content, but when I cut the plant to extract the gel I found white spots (on the gel itself ) , I don’t know what’s the problem with it.
& all the aloevera plants in my garden have the same problem!
It didn’t happen before .
Seems like some kind of disease
Thank you so much for sharing this my aloe is starting to look like this and I'm gonna try this and see if I get success
Sure, good luck
@@EasyPeasyGardening it has alot of green left but the stim is turning s black color and the leaves are curled up
@@kirstieroberts1166 black means too much water or snow or hail. Probably the stem is rotting.
@@EasyPeasyGardening okay the other day when I checked his roots they were great not rot smell or anything bit he was really dry thats when I found your video
@Kirstie Roberts it it's turning green, you can reduce water and let it be
I have a stem growing from the center of the plant and it has little things that took like little bananas
that is a flower stalk. You will see pink flowers very soon
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
I would like to know why my aloe vera is light green , light white and pink??? I would appreciate it so much your response
Those colors are normal
Thank you. it is well explain on how to deal with aloe problems. What kind of soil is good for aloe?
I use succulent soil mix. If you don't have that use general purpose potting soil mix 1 part and add half part course soil and quarter part perlite
My Big Aloe plant is in a deep container because it was growing out of the wide shallow one. I put it on the porch 2 or 3 days a week for Sun. The leaves are turning darker and have weird flat light brown scaly patches. I will try to send a pic. I'm wondering if putting it outside is too much for it. Florida panhandle
I think the leaves are getting burnt, need to move it in partial sun.
Thanks, mines slightly pinky I've had it on my kitchen windowsill so I'll move it.
Yeah, hopefully it will recuperate soon
Hi! Great video. I have a dying aloe in a 2 feet tall planter that’s super heavy. How do I revive the plant? Thanks!
If the leaves are Browning, water more. See if you can add some shade from sun
If it's been there for a long time, may be it needs transplanting
Gotcha thanks!
Amazing! Can u give us an updated video of this Aloe Vera?
I don't have it anymore. I gave it away.
@@EasyPeasyGardening do u have any eucalyptus plant videos? Or white sage? I have seedlings that havent been growing fast. I dont know why
@@dreamlovermimi9458 no I don't
Quick question, I have an aloe Vera plant that seems healthy. The leaves are firm, it’s a good green colour, and it has started growing a flower from the middle. The only problem is that the stalk is quite big, and as I keep my aloe Vera inside, the stalk of the blooming flower is beginning to lean in one direction and I don’t know what to do. Do I need to re-pot the plant into a bigger pot and keep it outside? I usually keep it inside near a large window. Please help!! xx
You could provide some support for the flower stalk. It is going to bloom and then you will cut the stalk so no need to move it just for the flower stalk
they've got wrong leaf markings for what I've been told is aloe vera. and spikes too long. so what variety is that?
I used multiple varieties of aloe in this video
Great job!! However I do have a question. I live in PX AZ where it is VERY HOT. The summer hit over 110 often. I decided because of all the wild life Javelins, etc I was going to build an aloe vera fence. I put the plants on the north side of my house and I literally do have a 70 ft aloe vera fence. This is all well and good. My aloe has many flowers. They are beautiful. I am told that aloe has to be older to flower on no video have I ever seen any aloe with flowers! I know I can not be the only Aloe person that has many flowers on my aloe plants. I must be doing something right but have no idea as to what it is. Please give me your opinion. Thank you and you do a great job with your explanations. I would love to share some of my pictures with you but have no idea how to upload them for you and your fans to see. Thank you.
My aloes also get flowers and they are only a couple of years old. Like any other plant they have to be healthy to bear flowers
Hello, this is a gread vid!! thank you!
My aloe Vera is light green color compare to the other ones I have. is it normal? it looks healthy but just that it is very light green color. just wondering? thanks for your time
There are many varieties of aloe with different color and variegations. But you can try giving it a little more direct sun.
@@EasyPeasyGardening I will try that thank you.
Thank you for the tips, I have a question, I had seen on another UA-camrs video that Aloe Vera plants don't like wet feet. Do you know if this is true? I perhaps have let mine go without any water for a little too long so will give them a bath of water overnight and take it day by day. I am just off the coast of North West France so possibly not quite the right climate for them either. I'm a bit of a newbie when it comes to looking after Aloe Veras 😁
You are right. They don't like wet feet but extreme situation requires extreme measures. Mine was so dry that I had to hydrate it well. In normal conditions they don't need that much water.
@@EasyPeasyGardening Well, I have to say that your tip definitely works! I popped them in a bath of water immediately after watching your video and the difference in 24 hours is remarkable. I have left them a good 12hrs without and have now given them their 2nd bath. If all good after this round I will leave them a little longer before doing it again. Thank you so so much for the tip and also for taking the time to come back to me. I am incredibly grateful! Wishing you a lovely day ahead!
@@kobostinywings thank you so much. I am glad it worked for you.
Hello! I have a baby aloe vera plant that's super thin. It is a vibrant green, and it looks very healthy, except for the fact that it's completely hollow of the gel. It also hasn't grown much since I got it in a separate container from its mother, like it's in stasis. Is there a way I can help it?
Give it some time
Can i use aloe vera plant's gel if it is non sticky?? Its like only watery gel. Now even sticking at all
Yes, that's fine
Can't send pic from my device
Hi! I recently received an aloe plant that has some brown ends on the leaf tips and I’m hoping you can explain why they’re like that so I can fix it. Also, all the leaves are wilted down(they’re touching the rim of the pot) but I think it’s been getting enough water. Thank you!
Is the sun too harsh?
@@EasyPeasyGardening I don’t think so. It’s in a south facing window but gets very little direct sunlight cuz I live in a cloudy state. It could have been before I got the plant since the tips were brown when I got it, but I’m not sure.
@@itsnobodyy leave it where it is and watch it. If it was because of the sun, it will recover
@@EasyPeasyGardening okay, will that help with the wilting?
@@itsnobodyy are the leaves soft or firm
Nice video.....Depth of pot required?
Depends on the size of the plant. Since they grow fast I would start with a big planter though. And their leaves are heavy so you want to use a heavy planter.
I also have another question my aloe is a small one it's a tiger tooth and has small roots do I still need to leave it in water for a week its still kinda cold here can i do this inside bye a sunny window
Is it dry like mine?
Not as dry it's still has alot of green but the leaves are curled up like yours
@@kirstieroberts1166 you should dry it up. I think the stem is rotting
4th issue, plant gets too soft soggy, seems like too much water. But this was when i watered a dried up plant.. How can we save the plant?
Maybe it's beyond repair that's why instead of firming up it became soft. Not sure.
My aloe plant is in zone 7 and only gets watered about once a week or so when the soil is dry, but the leaves are turning pink, soft, and curling in. They don’t have any dark spots though and the water doesn’t drain out. It’s on my balcony with East/SouthEast sun, but has overhead shade. What am I doing wrong?
Seems like it needs less sun and more water
@@EasyPeasyGardening Thank you for the advice!! I’ll move her behind some of the other plants and give her lots of water today.
@@emmyingalls334 watch it everyday to see if anything changes

I've green aloe vera but once i cut it off it turns into purplish pink from the cut side from aloin is released.. I want to understand whether its normal and usable or toxic??
How long does it take to turn pink
Hello, my aloe vera plants tips are drying out and turning black. Where I live, it's getting cold, so I brought them in, thinking that the cold is what is doing it. They keep shriveling and turning black (I cut them already). Also, I have 2 AV plants and they were both outside in the cold for a little (no frost) but only one is starting to shrivel. And no it is not dehydrated, the leaves are thick and full of gel, it's just the tips that are shriveled. Please help me figure it out. I've already killed an aloe vera plant before, I don't want this to be my second 😭
Aloe vera does not like cold weather so that could be one reason. Has it been raining a lot or have you watered it too much?
Easy Peasy Gardening it rained a lot a few weeks ago (which I forgot) and I watered it again. Thanks for getting back to me, the video was great
@@janice184 make sure that it stays dry now and I hope the planter has drainage
Easy Peasy Gardening yes it does. Thank you for all your help :)
My aloe is developing dimples and then bending at the point of the dimple. Any suggestions?
I recently transplanted it to a larger container.
@@lifestyleobedience check that it's getting enough sunlight and enough water. I am not sure what dimples mean in aloe, never seen it
I have a similar issue, try cutting at the dimple and see how liquidy it is, I think it might be caused by over watering or getting squished
I believe my Aloe has the same problem it like its sucking the liquid out of itself ,I put it in a bigger pot hoping that solves the problem
How to identify that whether i am over watering my plant or its under watered? How frequently I should water? Kindly reply
Water, only when the soil is dry. So less in winters more in summers. If the soil is dry and it's shriveling or turning reddish it is underwatered. If soil is damp and leaves are yellow probably it's overwatered
@@EasyPeasyGardening thanks for your valuable guidence. Hope my little plant will survive better now. Looking forward for many more useful videos from you
Hi, saw your video today, my aloe plant was producing pups n was healthy, May b too much sun, now it looks unhealthy, brown tips n no more pups... plz help
Water it if the soil is dry and move into shade if it's in sun
Easy Peasy Gardening I did both, weeks back, but still no pups. It’s lots of gel variety n da plant was tiling so I added more soil n tried to fix it to center
@@divyakoshy8804 wait for it to become healthy, pups will grow automatically after that
Which aloe are these
I am forgetting the name but this will apply to all aloe
I feel my aloe Vera is floppy and in the middle is a lighter green then the older ones looking more darker does it need more sun?
I think it's drying on the edges and slowly moving towards the center. Give it water and shade and watch it closely for changes
Easy Peasy Gardening my aloe Vera is turning yellow/light green and feels mushy now and wobbly
@@bryeetsonny9458 is the soil too wet?
Easy Peasy Gardening I’ve felt the top and middle, it is dry on the top and a little moist in the middle I watered it like 4 days ago
Bryeet Sonny It’s been two weeks but if they’re big and really squishy and floppy, it’s too much water. If they’re thinner, harder than usual, and maybe even a little red or brown, it’s not enough water.
Do the black spots become permanent scars?
Yes
Can I use these red Aloe vera
The gel may be dry
I see aloe arborescens and aloe maculata but no aloe vera
There are various species of Aloe shown in the video, not just Aloe vera. Bit misleading to some people who may think the species is so variable.
The goal is to show different problems and most of the times it's hard to show all in one plant.
And me wondering why my alovera always turn full red and full green, so it is because too much light.
thankfully from 2009 to now my aloevera never die, even if it die it will revive itself
Lucky you
Mine is browner looks like rotten leaves
Yeah if it is soft, you can't do much
None of those plants are aloe vera. There are hundreds of different aloe plants that are much nicer and different than aloe veras
I agree, I made a mistake in the name in this video. However, the process is real.
Thank you!
You're welcome!
