When my mature Aloe Barbadensis grows too long, I cut the entire root system, and set the root system aside to callus over and then replant the root system horizontally in the soil to grow pups for propagation 👍

I wish I could see you do this because mine is too long. I was just gonna buy a bigger pot 🙈 idk how to care for it but I want to!

@@TheKatarinaGiselle Are you referring to the root system being too long? If so cut it in half or depending on the length cut them in 6 to 7 inch segments but leave about 3 inches of stem on the Aloe plant itself and then wait a day for both ends to callus over and then plant them in different pots if you want, I would like to clarify as well that I clean up the root stem as much as possible and get the dried leaf off around the stem to expose the flesh and root nodes then plant them

Thank you for this video. I always thought that all Aloe plants were Aloe Vera plants. Mine looks just like your Aloe Dorothea. I had no idea that’s what it was. It was great to learn something new 🙂

That was very helpful. I took a lot of notes.
Do you have any information about the care of air plants (tillansia)? I have 4 different varieties. Several have flowered and grown pups. I've read that the mother plant dies after it grows a pup, but that hasn't happened to mine yet, and it's been a couple of years. It's one of my favorite plants, and I want people to understand how to display (no hot glue to shells please!) and care for them. Thank you

I need to know more about air plants myself. My mother has a wonderful collection, maybe we can work together on a video.

Oh no! As long as they are kept fairly dry and warm and with some bright light they should do well. I hope that helps and good luck!
