@tacuberto , Mike Oldfield es la leche... si a los 19 años ya había compuesto y grabado él solito el disco que tiene su tema maestro, Tubular Bells!! Y sólo hay que ver cómo toca...
@Jaws65 Interestingly only Oldfield and Reilly appeared on the studio version of "Sheba" from this lineup - Oldfield handling the instruments except for drums, played by Phil Collins.
@Virtimera - it's not some kind of ancient African. Which is a continent, not a country. That's like saying Asian in a language. Oldfield uses "Idioglossia", which is basically a made up language, most likely Irish or at least Celtic in some form. More specifically Maggie O'Reilly uses it, I would guess. Look up Sigur Ros, or listen to Lisa Gerard singing on the soundtrack to Gladiator. James Joyce was using it nearly 100 years ago.
Oh my ... so many memories associated with those songs ... ;____; Oldfield is just the most brillant non-classic composer I know.
MIKE OLDFIELD...ahora en 2008 escucho esta musica y no dejo de sorprenderme del virtuosismo de este musico!!!
Nobody been here for a while then?
I have this on CD but I thought it would be nice to see the guys performing for a change.
Simply awesome!
I had the DVD in hq but it burned in a fire so this will do
If you got the cd off dimeadozen around 2006 its probably me who ripped it haha

this is a great song
BLESS THEIR HEARTS...this rules , if anythang, intensely indelicately and with a caustic diligence heretofore unseen or something...
considering what a virtuoso he is on the geeeetar , monsieur oldfield comes up with some awesome keyboardish/vocodish wackiness
Awesome is the best word you used there.
tale of my life DIRTY DANCING remixed in 80's......
and now in 2010... lol
The perfect song for a donation Clip for TV about the kids from Chernobyl.

Did you know that she also recorded a CD with the Dutch folk group Flairck, check it out!
in 1986 "Sleight of Hand" for which Maggie recorded the vocals on 3 songs:.
This song is an alien language to me I think it is jupitatrian
its called oldfarian
@chronikoscope Yeah, you're right. I did a mistake writing the names.
Maggie is having an off day here! And keith Jarret on drums ;)
Lyrics please.! 🙏

This song is very sci-fi
I wrote this funny comment
I can sing this song.
Afaik it's just nonsense. In his early years Mike used Maggies voice like an instrument and let the music speak for itself.

+sortabli This song is sci-fi and it would be instrumental in using on sci-fi shows
What language is that?

Was the female singer the receptionist in Doc Martin?
The singer is maggie Reilly
@Virtimera - what? seriously? are you high? jesus christ.
Mad or a Genious? I prefer Genious by far
