The new drummer is Eloy Cassagrande, he comes from the Brazilian metal band Sepultura, where he replaced the original drummer of Sepultura Igor Cavalera. Igor now has reunited with his brother Max Cavalera, the original singer for Sepultura, in a band called Cavalera Conspiracy.
The drummer in this song is Jay Weinberg, he was the one who was recently kicked out. Joey played on the first 4 albums and died a while back, he was quite possibly one of the best drummers ever.

This past album was their last with Roadrunner so theyre probably trying to churn something out new with their new label if i had to guess. Joey jordison was in disasterpiece. Jay Weinberg is in this video. Collectively without Joey jordison Sean Cran as clown the band Slipknot would have not exist. They are the main brains behind the band. They kicked Joey jordison out and then few years later he passed away. Chris Fenn one of the accompanied drummers got irate about his cut of the take for profits and was fired. Paul Gray passed away who was the bassist I can't remember the basis name that was the replacement. And now they've done screwed up and fired Jay I don't know why he was like another Joey. Amazing drummer stunningly talented. I love the band but they need to keep their members it's exhausting to see them fire people left and right.

The main reason why Jay is no longer in the band is because Jay was having some major health issues and had to have a really big surgery for it. He got these injuries because of playing. Because it’s gonna take Jay so long to heal and even longer to get back into condition to where he can perform on that level on a daily, it was just too much of a roadblock for the band right now. As much as I love Jay, it is what it is. You can be sure that the next drummer that slipknot chooses is going to be phenomenal at the very least.

Guys this album is pure fire. Try Red Flag, Orphan, Nero Forte, and Solway Firth if you haven’t. Their best work in over of a decade
