For me, Duality is Slipknot's "Enter Sandman" single. It's just hard enough and has all of the signature Slipknot tonal elements a very catchy hook and lyrics that are digestible, but yet I say still brutal.
@ino592002 For me personally, this is when slipknot went downhill, not a bad song by any means, but compared to the first two albums, it's incredibly boring to me. It's definitely a great intro to slipknot, though same with psychosocial.
@Louis_H2903 Yeah, the next album wasn't for me at all, and that is when I stopped listening to their new stuff. I was deployed getting ready to come back when I picked up Iowa. I was laying down on my cot and I popped it in my discman (yes a discman) and my ears were assaulted! I was like damn! The first 3 or 4 tracks on Iowa were a blitzkrieg.
I just saw this video.. and it reminds me of what we used to call home destruction parties. I was a part of a couple different bands that did this in western Washington in the late 90's
They came to Meadow Brook/Bank of New Hampshire Pavilion for their 25th Anniversary and it was fuckin Amazing!! You guys should checkout Purity, Liberate, Spit it Out all three off the First album guaranteed to make your head bang
I remember reading that only about 50 extras were supposed to show up. And ended up being like 100+ in a fans home that he was going to sell or remodel. Cory paid to have the house fixed afterwards.
i remember watchiong a video about this. they put post its on screen with facts about the video. it said that that was a fans house that they trashed. and they paid for the damages
So the story goes, that the house belonged to a fan’s parents, who intended to demolish it and rebuild. So they let them destroy the house for the video, and the results are both epic and iconic.
I'm still pissed I could not get out of work to make the video shoot when I lived in Des Moines. In retrospect, I should have quit that job to go as I left it a month or so later anyway.
@@therealestmcc0y well, I was working on the road in Omaha at the time (only a roughly 2-2.5 hour drive) so yeah, I should have, but I needed the money at the time.
The guy at the very begining of the video offered them his family's house to do the video because they were about to do like $60,000 worth of renovations and they destryed it so bad the band covered the cost of the renovations...
i realy like the rappers reactions always openminded and respectfull to the art i am a real metal head bud can appreciate some good rap songs because they spit the truth and don,t shy to say some heavy stuf like wu-tang snoop eminem love you guys keep up the good work
Flawd do be ❤️ the 🎶 melodies 🎶 no matter what genre it is!! MOST if not everything translates and can be appreciated as GOOD music... btw did you know MGK had major beef with Slipknot lead singer and their fans specifically last year??
Bruh.......this is my neck of the woods......🥲 I love how the pausing of the crowd represents to me them doing spit it out live get down on the ground moment. Btw is a must see...live at download is a good one
Great reaction. I love Coreys voice and his versatility. Please check out Nero Forte by Slipknot. If love to see your react to Kid Bookie ft Corey Taylor "Stuck in my ways". I'm really interested in what you think about it. Greetings from Germany
Id love it if you guys reacted to something by Saliva Grey, hes a good rapper and more underground, take it with a grain of fentanyl on his new album is pretty good but id also recommend spit stang and unbearable
Flawd is the slow one here. You just don't get the part where he calms the storm, slowly stopped the ache as it were. It's an awesome part of the this epic video. You constantly saying "it's fire" isn't exactly creatively descriptive either. In fact it's a lazy habit reactors in general have adapted.
This pisses me off, they have no ear for it but the community on youtube as a whole gets reactors to react to the exact same videos all the fucking time. Let me guess the next one is "slipknot spit it out 2009" (the better video is 2001) These guys love rap, so why are you getting them to react to metal? I like metal and rap but if somebody gives me country I will be bored as fuck
If they want to react to slipknot they can. It’s music I grew up with just like listening to Korn System of a Down limp bizkit Linkin Park. It’s there channel bruh. Let em live😂 maybe they will do Vermillion or Pulse of the Maggots by them next. We don’t know.
@kaynesheldon4905 I'm not saying they can't, I'm saying type in "slipknot duality react" and there's like 100 people who've done exactly the same video It's not even a great song. It's OK.... its like "woah listen to fack by eminem" it's funny but it's not "you gotta hear this"
Let's all go down that Slipknot rabbit hole! Totally down for that
@KingoftheRobots625 Oh Shit! Really gonna do the Hole? They got some Metal Banging Beautiful Stuff!!!
I need this.
Definitely

@ino592002 I'm off to see them in December for the 25th anniversary of the self-titled album tour, banger after banger on that one 🤘🤘
@@Louis_H2903 HELL YEAH!
You must be young... Without question the slipknot equivalent of Enter Sandman, is "wait and Bleed"
That was a real fans house by the way🤘😂
I just saw this video.. and it reminds me of what we used to call home destruction parties. I was a part of a couple different bands that did this in western Washington in the late 90's
when i see a "rap fan" reaction to this, every single line of the song i cant help but go BAR!
Just me?
hehe
Great reaction, before I forget if you haven't reacted to it. "Looks like houses you've been in !" Had me crying 😂

@@dragonjegg82 GREAT SUGGESTIONS I second this and I third this
Absolutely amazingly talented band, would love to see them live
Brings bach the angst of my teenage years
Slipknot live is an experience like nothing else on this earth. They bring an insane energy.

Slipknot are legends. We need a deep dive
Omg this was not in my bingo card but it's a very welcome surprise! I love slipknot

❤Don’t stop Making Reactions and Music🤘🗿🎧🎸🪨🧗
Cory Taylor wrote this song about the debilitating migraines he gets.
I'm still pissed I could not get out of work to make the video shoot when I lived in Des Moines. In retrospect, I should have quit that job to go as I left it a month or so later anyway.

Baseball bat + Beer Keg = Heavy Metal Cowbell
I've got a fever, and the only perscription is more cowbell!
We need a Slipknot day :D
Joey jordison is a god among men
I want a parody of this song where a crowd of people storm a house to aggressively clean and decorate it.
All. The. Yes. Cue Weird Al.....
Why do you two, and your correct ideas make me so happy
🙏🏾
Welcome fellow maggots!
I genuinely enjoy these reactions

You’d probably like Corey Taylor (their singer) on Tech n9nes song Bitch Slap. That’s a good one that he uses his rapping skills

yes... its fire.
More Slipknot, throw in some Korn and Skindred.
That was a slipknot fan’s home who allowed the band to shoot the video and destroy his house.
Slipknot - override. 🙏🏻

They have 100% heard this before.
If you were more familiar with us, you’d know better than to make a claim like this.

The most overplayed song that doesn't show who Slipknot are, pulse of the maggots, people = shit liberate, opium of the people just to make s few
Not a fan of scremo heavy metal. Love slipknot when he uses his non scream voice
Are you two permanently stoned?
