This game has so much heart. I’ve been thoroughly enjoying Pentiment since it was released. The artwork, the story, the personalities of each and every character, the historical context, etc.
Really surprised by Pentiment, and happy to be enjoying this slow burn story.

This is a game for a Few Select group of people, definitely not for everyone.

Thanks for the review! Any chance you could tell us how long an average playthrough of Pentiment is?
From what Josh Sawyer said about 45 hrs.. It also has replayability as it takes place over 25 years and will change the story playthrough via your decisions..
Most of the reviews seem to be stating 15-25 hours
Yea it’s like 17 hours on my first playthrough, but I definitely missed some stuff.

I love xbox and i love Obsidian but it kinda pisses me off we're getting crap like this while playstation gets god of war. No wonder I'm playing my ps5 and switch this month and not my xbox.
I mean a team of 13 people made this. I personally love that they're letting small teams make passion projects, that aren't just aiming to be big selling people pleasers.
