Great 24' Nautilus review that exemplifies the core mission of this type of SUV - comfortable driving over imperfect roads where regular and luxury mid size SUVs are lacking. Thanks Chabby
Being 6.3 tall, that's where i look most of the time is the dash. Be perfect. Love to see this technology move up to the Navigator and spruce it up some.
They did a nice job with this. One thing I wish was another wheel option. With the Jet package, the wheels have always been all black. Somehow, the chrome takes away from the look.
I bought a2024 Lincoln Nautilus having trouble with brakes Rotors rusting after washing car or in rain overnight makes nose when i apply brakes .this could be a problem on salt roads & Lincoln motor Co won't correct my problem
What most don't notice about the key fob is it appears the same as the Ford version, but the difference is the Lincoln version is bright chrome while the Ford is dull metal.
I think the right side of the dash may be more useful for the front passenger. My front passenger likes to change radio stations and that could be placed on the right for the passenger to control.
I believe that is the route Cadillac chose to take with their big screen in the upcoming Cadillac Escalade IQ. It has a huge screen like this, but the right third is for the passenger. From what I understand, the passenger's screen is polarized so that the driver won't be distracted. Lincoln needs to do something similar.
A 4-cylinder Lincoln with a powertrain similar to the last Fusion Titanium, made in China and a sticker of approx. $74,000! Whew! Reliability and longevity?..your guess as good as mine! Lots of content, looks nice. I predict that this will be a limited, hard sell at best! You could get a topline Accord Hybrid and modestly equipped CRV bundled up for a comparable sum... OMG! Nice, detailed review..as usual!
Apparently you are not the customer they are targeting for also nothing really wrong with made in china as labor would be cheaper hence cheaper to produce as long as it is not a chinese company quality will still be up to lincoln standards. You probably typed your comment on a phone made in china🤣
Also nothing wrong with using the engine on its cheaper counterpart lexus and toyota have been doing that too even Volkswagen and audi as long as it's enough to move that weight.
Lincoln doesn't really compete with Honda. They're a luxury brand, so the closest equivalent would be the Acura MDX. Both start around $50k. About what you'd expect nowdays for a midsize luxury SUV. But yeah, I'm kind of bummed that it's made in China too. Personally, I'm not a fan of the huge screen either. Looks too distracting. I think you can turn some of the sections off though... which begs the question of why get a big-azz screen just to turn it off. 😄
I understand if you use google navigation it comes up on the top screen, but if you use Waze, it only shows on the lower screen. There no longer is Factory navigation.😥
How much road noise (and engine noise) did you feel was translating into the cabin? ...also, what did you think about the side view mirrors and blind spots? The side mirrors seem small to me.
@@was75872 It's quick. 5.9 seconds 0-60. You really feel that 380 lbs ft of torque off the line. And the fuel economy isn't much worse than the 4 cylinder. Well worth the cost in my opinion.
You know this auto manufacturer Ford Lincoln Co...are building these SUV's in China ...where the labor is pennies compared to building them here in the US...I read where it cost anywhere between $12 to $14 dollars to produce an lphone in China...which sells here for thousands with a contract...Now imagine how much less this Lincoln cost to produce ...Lincoln is asking $54k up to $80k plus....Its nothing more than good old fashion AMERICAN GREED.....
I wish they kept the twin turbo 2.7 ltr 6 cylinder engine and hvac buttons. Why gut the power? Why make me play with a computer screen for simple stuff while Im driving? The 2023 model is looking very attractive in comparison. This doesn’t feel like innovation, it’s more like deprivation. Why do I need 4 dash screens? Super limited interior color options compared to the last model as well. One step forward, two steps back. Why, why, why? Hopefully sales will tank, and teach them a lesson.
I don't know about you, but many think the uaw is no different these days. The strike really hurt the workers all in an attempt to line its own pockets.
I honestly don't know what Ford is thinking these days. I guess it's all about cheap labour but to pay over 70 grand more like 100 grand in Canada for a Chinese built non union vehicle you can keep it. We have skilled workers that are more than qualified to build this vehicle. Buying a car built in a country that doesn't care about workers rights. No thank you.
That's what happens when you give the workers a huge pay boost. Fain is walking pretty tall right now, while manufactures are working on ways to cut jobs.

Thank you for tuning in and the feedback. Much appreciated.
Greetings from oakville Ontario Canada home of the ford plant thanks for the presentation
Hello up there! Glad to hear from ya! Thanks for tuning in.
Thank you for the review, Question, can you look into why the battery dies often in this vehicle😢

Excellent review.
Thanks! Thank you for tuning in.

Correction on the FHEV powertrain. It is a different 2.0L I-4 engine mated to an eCVT.
I ordered a 2024 Nautilus Reserve lll but it did not reflect any massage seat funtionality as an option. It appears it comes in the Blaclk Label only
I am a techy person, and I am not a fan of the dashboard. Most unnecessary

I thought the reason to build in china is to offer a lower price. For this price I rather go get a lexus. At least I can trust the quality.

There is blind spot warning, don't think the size of the mirrors would be a concern
The hybrid is only 300 hp and 295 lb ft of torque. That's disappointing compared to the 335hp, 380 lb ft of torque my 2019 2.7 liter V6 puts out.
Have never owned a 2.7 V-6. How is it?

Hybrid comes with 2.0 turbo also. FYI
I like it. Better if it was built here.

Very nice vehicle-but the fact that it’s built in CHINA automatically puts it on my REJECT list.

The main screen looks small
i'm 33 and don't need that big screen in the dash. pointless and wish it was an add on.
Lincoln is a tough sell, no one is going to buy that in any decent quantity.
tooo much tech...
NOPE ! GIVE me a genesis 10 grand less .

It’s another gas car…….no thanks. Have to go through a dealer……..no thanks. Yet another dinosaur.
battery power cars have a long way to go
