Gents, if you make a handguard that is compatible with the Enhanced line of upper receivers but tapers down to the diameter of the Atlas line of handguards after the larger diameter attachment point, you will have a product that will dominate this market.
I am glad to see several options are now available.
Please offer an option for an ATLAS R-ONE with 7 sided M-LOK. Would be the perfect handguard!

It's called the Ballistic Advantage Logic handguard. They're owned by Aero precision and make barrels for them among other things.

Hello. Apologies if this was already asked, but as far as you Atlas S-One, would a Sandman S fit your underneath with the diameter of the Sandman S being 1.5”?? Thank you an thank you for your timely response
My Atlas R one wouldn’t fit on my 10mm Angstadt upper receiver I’m building. Will have to sand down each side 1/16” in order to ensure it fits all the way on. Before installing the wedge. Have you heard of anyone else having this issue? The rail is way to tight at the bottom where it slides over the receiver.
Somebody please help. The handguard on my m5 is crooked. When removing it, the gas tube is perfectly aligned and fits into the barrel nut slot perfectly. Everything fine with that but when you look at the bottom 6 o’clock position of the installed barrel nut, the slot where the handguard tightens into is very obviously crooked. When installing the handguard perfectly straight, it doesn’t sit in the groove because it’s crooked. When tightening, it’s straight for a while but after 20 rounds or so it begins to wander to the left because it’s trying to sit in the position of the crooked groove of the barrel nut. Is this normal? Any advice is appreciated.

Sure would nice if the qd holes on the Atlas M5’s functioned. Not enough clearance in between the barrel and handguard.
How come only the quantum comes with the mlock on the 2,4,8, 10 positions
Ordered the Enhanced Handuard but the screws were missing and no instructions for the installation..I have submitted four double tickets over the last several weeks and this issue has not been resolved. Very Disappointed ti say age least!
I’ve had an S-One on backorder since June. It has an expected ship date of 09-11. I’m keeping my fingers crossed.

I like the quantum with a full top rail can I get something to fill in the rest of the space on the top to make it a full pic rail?

Great hand guard but Aero is always out of them. Been trying to get an enhanced hg for 2 years for my AR10 build now, I finally decided to go with a standard upper receiver so any hg will fit
If I have an atlas s-one installed. Would i have to change the barrel nut to put the other handguard on?
You would not have to change the barrel nut to install a different ATLAS handguard. You would have to change the barrel nut to install an Enhanced handguard or another style.

You shouldnt be mounting a red dot or magnifier on your handguard.

@@flawless1up I've got about 300 rounds through mine and the only issue I e had was not having the block tightened enough so it walked off after the first 20ish rounds. Fixed that and no issues since. I have a .625 clamp on gas block and it fits under the bcm mcmr rail. I'm pretty sure their website says it's not rated for 300 blk but I'm sure someone has done it. The gas adjustment with a 16" barrel and muzzle device can be kinda annoying bc you can't make a full rotation without hitting the muzzle device. But if you're running on a pistol should be good to go. I can't attest to how clean it is as this is my first ar but it doesn't seem to get the upper too dirty like I imagine a DI would. I'd check about the 300 blk compatibility, but I'd recommend for 556 with no reservations if you want something a little different than a di gun. Also piston retaining spring is just a standard magazine catch spring.

It’d be nice if you had stuff in stock on your website.....feeling real bummed that I can’t find a m5 15” enhanced handguard.....not even at the dealers you have on you page......called every one of them in a 25 mile radius and nothing......had to settle for a 12” just to get me by.

Found a Quantum because the woodgrip I want ONLY does fit Aero Quantum. $120 to my door.
So did you guys not think of putting a full rail on the ATLAS until after you made the ATLAS - S, or was it a decision made do to the fact that more people would want ATLAS-Rs so you only put out the S first by itself so people would buy another when you later introduced the R? Just curious.

@@plinkynut it came as part of a complete upper, directly from Aero. Like the spring of 2018, when they were introduced or shortly thereafter. Before the ATLAS-R was announced or for sale...

Just bought an Aero Precision quad rail. Problem is, Aero Precision is sold out of the barrel nut. So is literally every single retailer online. Every single one. So what the heck was the point of buying a $140 handguard, that I cannot mount. This is rediculous.
Its nice if you can make us 16 inches Enhanced handguards for precision AR build ... 15 inches is short for longer barrels it does not look balance and it look stupid ...

I love my Atlas S One, it weighs practically nothing.
Need to bring back the full quad rail 10”, 12” and 15”
Mlok Allows you to do that, it allows you to have a lighter handguard, and not have the feeling of holding a cheese grater while firing. it also allows you to save money on rail covers. finally, you're going to save weight over that quad. finally, you can mount the same amount of stuff on it. (light, laser, front sight, etc).
B Tankersley that’s your preference. Quadrails will always be more rigid and I don’t mind the extra weight. Covers are cheap.
@Will Smith umm you are definitely looking in too deep on this one man. Just talking about Aero hopefully bringing back the more rigid quad rail for cloning and other purposes.
Aero Precision, let's talk about AP, its handguards. For the Enhanced handguard, it is on the big size for a comfortable fit gripping. So, I just wish that AP had something tapered a little smaller to griping the handguard, 95% of my ARs 15/10 are AP, and everything too, is from AP. A slimmer handguard for the enhanced upper receiver is needed.
Rudolph Ferdinand unfortunately, it’s not an option due to how the handguards are made. They are made from an extruded tube which you could only taper down in size with extensive machine work, which equates to a much more expensive handguard. It has to be big enough to fit over the enhanced handguard boss and then would have to taper down, which can’t be done with the extrusion so it would be us cutting all of the material away. We have looked in to it and it just doesn’t pencil out.
Aero Precision, LLC, one can only hope 🙏! A standard upper receiver with a larger handguard I replaced it with something slimmer.
As someone with pretty big hands, this is actually a feature I want.
It is time to change the barrel nut.
The integrated barrel nut is one thing but so many companies make your barrel nuts look bloated, heavy and under engineered.

Just a weekly reminder that Aero Precision marketing still lies about their “complete uppers” as they still do not contain BCGs or charging handles. -A happy Aero owner just want them to be honest.

FWIW Ballistic Advantage did that with the Atlas R-One. They call it the 'Logic' handguard and it's otherwise identitcal to the R-one. I just wish the S-one got the same treatment.
Like to learn more between enhanced vs milspec rail mounting.

So basically if i want the enhance upper i have top use an M41 handguard? I have put off buying the S1 because i had to save up for one of your receiver sets? LOL But i love the S1 and you guys sure should make an Enhanced upper for the S1? Now i have ot make a hard choice? but the enhanced or forget that and buy the S1 that i want? lol damn guys!>!?!>?

Hell no. These rails are so tiny and slim that it feels like you are playing with a child's toy. It is not worth the 160 bucks.
I guess the ATLAS Handguards aren't for everyone.
@@AeroPrecision stop making slim handguards and start making handguards with bulk and a larger diameter. I have AP upper and lowers but the handguards need work. 2 or 2 1/2 in diameter would be fa ulous for us with adult sized hands.
I have large hands and the quantum is probably the best fit I've had as far as handguards go
