I don't like diesels, but I do hope poor Papyrus has recovered from her coupling rod issue. Reminds me of my model B2 Peckett engine Westminster, who broke one of her own coupling rods. The 0-6-0 saddle tank engine is in the storage room of Chester Model Shop, awaiting spare parts.
Awesome video Ollie, I'm glad you are painting it into the London Underground livery just like 20227, Looking forward to be seeing updates on how the repaint went. You now have two lovely locos, Stay safe :)
Excellent, I know Eric personally and while i went round to build my own loco with Eric i Remember him building this loco. I will try and point him in the direction of this.
Once you have painted it in the London transport livery you need to make some S stock tube trains. I usually see 4 class 20 locomotives along with 4 old fuel tanker barrier wagons towing London transport S stock from Derby to the London. Usually I see them at Dorridge station near where I live usually waiting for clearance to continue their journey, it's a very interesting train to see.
When was it built? How long did it take to build? How is the locomotives and tracks powered? Is there a manufacturer like Hornby and Bachman that build locos and rolling stock? Or do you have to build them yourself? There’s so many questions.
Fascinating and magnificent video as always. Victor looks like a very happy class 20 and its nice to see people who are so dedicated to this magnificent hobby, and you are a brilliant train driver. Both the blue and London underground liveries look good. Also whats it like working on the underground.
Really glad you enjoyed mate, I’m so pleased with the loco, especially once it’s all been painted! Working on the underground can be quite stressful but each day there’s something different!
Ahh a laid back Ollie, a truly amazing sight :) :) :) and then Ollie comes to the recue, what a man to have on your side. Love the new locomotive, thanks Ollie your one very cool guy !!!!!
Ollie great video as always... Loved the Blue 2P... and your "shunters' wagon"... your Class 20 is a beast and the sound system... Ollie your 20 was in the right place at the right time...lol and you got the Pullmans too ha ha
Pity about that lovely A3. Even models are subject to failures, unfortunately. I may be wrong but it looks like the rearmost wheel has shifted on the axle- not keyed? (I don't know if quartering is the right term to use for a 3 cylinder loco with the cranks set to 120 degrees). Luckily, your class 20 was on hand for the rescue. Excellent choice of livery for the repaint, by the way- I've always been a fan of the London Underground.
I believe it was an axle issue and by the sounds of it, not an easy fix! Cant say I know too much about steam loco maintenance, especially something of that scale. The LUL livery is coming along nicely!
Wow that's an awesome model Ollie, loved the other loco's as well, I think a lot of people like to see the 5" I know I do, so please carry on sharing it along with the other WR projects. Pus a video on the repaint of your class 20's repaint would be mega.
Excellent, can you also make videos of making these stuff. This will be helpful/ guide to many of us to fulfill our dreams of making model trains as hobby .
and again a great video, best regards from Harry, Germany's best train formation, from the original to the model, all trains from all epochs in Germany, in the model, Harry
Somehow, I get the sense that the future episode featuring the shunter's wagon is inspired by a previous comment of mine. But in all seriousness, this is a great video, and I can't wait for the next one.
12:47 "Ladies and Gentlemen, despite the motive power issues we are currently experiencing, the express train around the loop will still be operating, courtesy to the kindness of the Caledonian Railway"
When you were talking about getting a garden railway, I did not imagine this. Ollie, the loco and cars look great. Congrats!!
This isn’t my garden but that Is my loco 😆cheers mate!
Wonderful little railway! 👍👍👍📹🚅🚅
Please roll the train at night so i can see the lights on. Nice collection 👍
A3 looked stunning
It really is very impressive. The work makes the fun that much more special! Cheers, Ollie!
Thank you Anthony super glad you enjoyed!

Sadly as far as I’m aware, Papyrus is still in the workshop!
9:16 had me laughing hahaha

S stock locos would be great but wouldn’t know where to start with making them! Feel free to subscribe for more!

It took my friend 25 years to build! Track isn’t powered, locos have batteries and steam trains run on steam!
Wardle Road 25 years wow 😮
The very definition of a diesel electric loco!
Fascinating and magnificent video as always.

To have a railway like that would be a dream but to have it my garden I would have to have a bigger garden..
I can only dream
Are the two-tones just car horns? If so, that’s clever!
Medium Approach Medium Productions I think so!
Excellent, can you also make videos of making these stuff. This will be helpful/ guide to many of us to fulfill our dreams of making model trains as hobby .
Believe it or not I'm a train lover. But, why diesels steam power where the start and the best at 1812
nothing wrong with diesels!
A class 37 would be nice
Do got plans to make or built a P2
I’m afraid I don’t sorry
and again a great video, best regards from Harry, Germany's best train formation,
from the original to the model, all trains from all epochs in Germany, in the model, Harry

Of the class 20? Around 1,400 🥺🥺
Wardle Road WOWCHA 😬
Matthew Snowden Shunter Guy don’t tell my missus 😆😭
I actually quite like the sound of the electric motors on your Class 20 tbh. How much does something like that cost to build?
I got the loco for £1400 and since then have added the Mtroniks sound system which is around £230
Galgorm Hall knows a transfer maker for the logo. good video thanks.
Il drop him a message!
Nice Loco !
Thank u mate
Brilliant work. How long would it have taken you to build it? Anazing
Robert Turner that took the chap 25 years! My loco is currently in the process of being repainted, stay tuned for more updates! Stay safe Robert 🙌🏻🙌🏻
Say where do you buy these models? :o
We enjoyed the video and wondered if you are ever opened to the public as we are not far from you and would love to see it for ourselves?
Patricia S I did reply to your email!
Wardle Road you didn’t say if we can I visit the sawvesey site ?
He’s not open to the public!
Well I like this I just found this because Trains! Also what happens when it crashes? You said it was heavy!
Just take a lot of effort to get it back on the track! Havnt had that issue yet! Fingers crossed 🤞 😂
Ok
Somehow, I get the sense that the future episode featuring the shunter's wagon is inspired by a previous comment of mine. But in all seriousness, this is a great video, and I can't wait for the next one.
12:47 "Ladies and Gentlemen, despite the motive power issues we are currently experiencing, the express train around the loop will still be operating, courtesy to the kindness of the Caledonian Railway"
