Really crisp exhaust beat on your lovely O1 - sounds as though the valves timing is absolutely perfect.
Agreed I think it’s pretty spot on! I’m struggling to find faults with this loco at the moment, only cosmetic bits 😂
I would like to thank you Ollie for making miniature railway videos. This is what got me in to the hobby and have now made a scamp-like loco that runs on 7 1/4 inch gauge. Again a massive thank you and will continue to support you in the future. 😀
Great to hear! Means a lot that you find my videos inspiring LOL! Hopefully lots more content to come in the future too. Thanks for the support :)
We have just got a part built O1 at our Reading Society Auction. Air running Chassis Tender frames and a boiler. Just doing a mad rush to get her complete. Model Engineers Laser tender body kit and masses of off the shelf fittings.
Love your video. David and Lily.
Great to see you back. Those are some fantastic garden railways, thank you for sharing, and your newest loco is brill!!!
Glad you like them! It has certainly been a while, the new loco is great!
Loved it! Well done
Cheers mate!
Lovely stuff! That GNR livery looks stunning!
Cheers dude I'm very happy with the livery!
What a great loco, I would take one of those in a heart beat!
Always look forward to another Wardle Road 5" gauge video. :)
I've just built my first 5" gauge turnout. Lacking some of the equipment that would make doing that easier, I adopted an idea I'd noticed from some of your videos of Brent's line - namely using thinner bar stock for constructing the frog and point blades. Much easier to work with for my particular situation.
Sounds great!, glad you enjoyed the video, should have another vid on the way within a couple of weeks!
You bought yourself a cracking loco there, I love how it looks.
I can confirm that injectors, and especially the lifting type, doesn't like warm water.
I have been fireman on a preserved Swedish 0-8-0 which had lifting injectors, with hot summer weather sometimes they wouldn't start and cooling the body down by pouring buckets of water over them was the way to get them started, with an enclosed cab this would turn the cab in a Swedish sauna!
Glad you like the loco! As the water comes form the tender, so far I havnt had an issue with them picking up! The axle pump does a pretty good job at keeping the water topped up too! 🙂
Very nice Ollie. Very interesting indeed. It looks like a lot of fun, especially the 2-8-0 there. Sounds great. We miss the 12.5inch railway a guy used to run near-by our village. Always a huge draw in the summer. Keep Well and Keep Safe. Cheers!
Hi Flymo, glad you enjoyed. Yeh the new loco is a beauty im very lucky!! Stay safe mate catch up soon :)
Looks great fun
Magnificent !!
Wow, what a beautiful loco. If you ever do a full restoration on that in the future, you must film it step by step. I for one would be very interested to watch a series like that. Very nice.
It woyldnt be a full restoration but I plan to remove the cab over the winter and fix it up, and possibly a fresh coat of paint across the whole loco!
Great video, love the whole thing. Very envious !
Glad you enjoyed it, hope to get more frequent with the updates!
i'm glad you refer to your new aquisition as a loco and not a train. looks good
Thanks glad you enjoyed!
Hi ya Ollie. Sorry I missed the live show. Beautiful new loco. The UK weather always makes me laugh. Beautiful and sunny, with clear skies. And then cloudy and threatening skies. Summertime in the UK. Lol. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Hello Tian. Take care. Bye.
Glad you enjoyed it, the weather is so unpredictable. Unfortunately you just have to have your fingers crossed on a running day for good weather! Hopefully catch you in the next live chat whenever that is! take care mate
Lovely railway and your new loco' looks a stunner!
Glad you like it! thanks for subscribing too, appreciate it :)
Wonderful, thank you!
Thanks Stan, glad you enjoyed mate!
@@WardleRestorations Totally! Your vids are a great inspiration for me to keep plodding ahead on a backyard rr of my own.
Means a lot thank you man
Cool video. Enjoyed it and like how it was a thorough review.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great stuff Ollie. Thats a lovely loco.
Cheers Tim appreciate it, nice to see you in the chat again 👍
Enjoyed this video one to watch.
Appreciate it, feel free to share around! 🙂
What a fantastic loco.Really enjoyed this new vid.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed!
Good to see you out and about Ollie and I hope you and Tian are well....................Cheers Kev
Thanks Kev! Glad you enjoyed, another video should be on the way within the next week or so
Bring it on!!!
Well sorted loco before he aqquired it from myself, so easy to run with and able to pull 20/22 adults.
Take care if her. Russ
Of course I will!
Very nice railway and nice loco ! would love to ride a 5" ground level railway.
Ground level is so much better than raised track! Much more to do on ground level!
I was down at my local 5" track on Sunday (they give rides round the track to kids) and was wondering how you were getting on. The O1 looks great, I think the last video I watched you were still using the class 20.
A lot has changed since the class 20!
@@WardleRestorations you're not joking!
Beautiful locomotive. I am a year behind on vids as im a new follower. Do you own your own railway or run your loco on other private railways?
I like the railway in your video
The railway in this video is a private garden :)
Hey Ollie, sorry I missed the premiere as I was at work so I have finally got to watch the video. What an amazing locomotive in a beautiful livery, love to see it hauling the Pullman coaches. Take care and stay safe :) :) :)
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for the continued support it means a lot!
Goalsssss 👃
No stinky diesels round here anymore
Have you sold the class 25 ? . Great video 👍
Yes a friend has it now! Glad you enjoyed the vid!
Did you find it too difficult to do or to time-consuming ?
I wasn’t a fan of the Maxitrak motors and build of the bogies but bodywork etc it’s a good model!
I'm a bit more cheerful. Visit Kelly Ashford Trains to find out why. Hope you enjoy my own steamy train ride behind standard gauge steamy, no. 3802, from Llangollen to Carrog and back. In two parts, that is.
I will have a look later! Hope you enjoyed the video. Im really getting the buzz for steam engines!
What is the second one
What second one do you mean?
@@WardleRestorations the second loco
In the picture it’s another 01
Always without music for me
Some people prefer with, and some prefer without, it’s hard to please everyone! Haha
@@WardleRestorations yeah totally understand just im here to see and hear trains lol
Aint we all haha
Yeah definitely mate I'd love to run my locos down there but just too far away been to Gilling a fair few times and Leyland Cleckheaton is the local haunt for testing and blowing cobwebs off
I’m off to Gilling this Friday with the loco, can’t wait!
Can you make your content inclusive and accessible by formatting the auto captioning into closed captioning? it is sadly very hard to watch relying only on the auto captioning (Im Profoundly Deaf)
im not entirely sure how to do this? Any info would be useful
