See 37611 and 37521 on light engine moves - Also 20901 and 20905 headed to Didcot for further work for ROG on the GWML.
A mix of other loco workings passing through Water Orton included also.

These are something to behold & love the rumble of their engines!
Absolutely love it when they toot and wave….. it’s a must , so nice of these drivers 😊 I’d so love to have a day out on this…. ❤
That was good. Had to get a defibrillator after the 37 though🤣
I was close to needing one - Thats one loud horn up close! 🤣👍
😂😂😂😂
I might not have shat myself, but both feet would have left the ground
Always expect them to do that. :)
(its awesome 37s and 20s are still in use to this day)
Some great captures, luv the 37 and its tones
Class 37s sound like a rapid succession of farts.
Great video very impressed with it
I love your videos, the 37 driver is awesome 😅
Glad you like them! 🙏👍
😂🤣Well that's the benefits of filming near Railways ,Great footage 😂❤Love the sound of Tractors ❤️
Man that was loud 😮 ; super catches
I am so mad I jumped when there was a warning in the title haha
Tractors & choppers, my favourites: I need to have a lie down in a dark room!
me too... they both sounded amazing, eh?
@@jamfjord yep. EE scored a double hit with them. And so long lived as well!
Shit. And I was expecting that.
Thank you for NOT turning down volume :)
Lots of good action there, great video!
Thanks - Glad you liked it 👍
Wish I knew if there were any 37 still working near Leeds. Haven't seen one in years except the Scarborough Spa going through Woodlesford.
Very good video and I am pleased that class 37S are still being used in the uk and also rebuilt which is very good
1:24 No worrinder, you got the living days lights taking out of you. I almost got a heart attack whaching
Yep that gave me a fright when it went past. LOL
Great catches and video
Awesome video great shooting and editing
Thanks James 👍
Hey, very nice shots and editing - I love that you don´t just turn the cam around but instead make two cuts like that!
Thanks - Glad you liked it 👍
Awesome class 37 still looks good and sound great 👍👍👍
Class 37s sound great?; to me when in motion they sound like a rapid succession of farts
see what you mean! he's a bit of naughty boy!!
The most frightening thing is being on the track when you shouldn’t and a train or Loco is approaching… was near Rosyth and the line that just before it runs onto the Forth rail bridge, there is a lattice girder bridge followed by a short tunnel and if you just happen to be using the bridge as a shortcut, as you jolly well shouldn’t, then if something is coming then you have quite a length of bridge to run before the train is down on you… and it’s rather scary..so don’t do it…I did it once and I would definatly NOT condone or advise it…I was young at the time and this is 40 plus years later…
Another scary encounter with a 37… walking from Telford station to a car park on Stafford Park, there is a short section of footpath which runs parallel with the track as it goes under the road gyratory and this allows you to stand within about 2m from the track,,safely behind a chain link fence. At that time a regular freight train was hauled around 17:20 each day and it was usually pulled by a 37 based at the depot at Wolverhampton. Well this thing would come thundering up the track from the direction of Cosford and the slow steady thump of the engine could be heard and as it got closer it sort of gave me goose bumps… like some unknown beast or entity has entered the darkened chamber and the sound intensifies as the unseen in the darkness is getting closer… then the yellow dim glow of the cab can be made out in the dark like the demons eyes…then compare it with the opening scene from Robbery where you see the class 40 thundering along chasing the camera train and seeming to gain…chasing its prey… 😂😂😳
Thoroughly enjoyed your vid you did jump about a foot😅😂
Great video 👍
Glad you enjoyed it 👍
Ha ha, a Frieghtliner 66 did the very same thing me once pulling away from Retford. Scared the **** out of me.
Nice selection of trains. Question, the container wagons are of various sizes some of the older ones being 60ft (3 x 20 ft, 40ft +20ft) in Canada and the US there a few companies using 60ft. for tyres and other large but light loads. Ever seen one in UK?
Nice video well done great camera work as usual as well bye for now Philip
Imma be careful of that one class37 :D
66's could creep up on you,tap you on the shoulder and you would never know it was there
Water Orton I think excellent.
Awesome I love the dark green 37 bring back the 70 please proper locomotive l
4:35 why are they running the empty wagons without containers? Surely its more economical to run just the amount of containers they have....
Possibly empty stock workings that are needed for future loaded trips if the port is a net importer rather than exporter.
Firstly, each container has it’s slot on the train, and if the boat’s late, then it misses it’s slot.
Secondly what is your profile picture?
Where is this location please? Thanks
@@michaelbrewer8339 it’s in Birmingham
@@michaelbrewer8339 Water Orton, I think
this is'nt the first time either noticed it before...lol...🙂🙂
Can’t beat a good flinch! 🤯🙈👍
What trains are those, at the 3:00 section?
They are class 20 diesels. Being piccy, they are not trains, they are locos, locomotives or engines. They were in their element hauling coal trains and other goods trains back in the 60s,70s and early 80s.
Superb video. What camera you using Michael?.
It’s a Panasonic HC-VXF1 👍
If you’re taking a train that’s old, perhaps the original ticket price as it was then. Poetic justice right?😊
New IBJ’s required under the bridge
Okay I can see the title in pics now...
How do you know where they are heading?
Real Time Trains is the best resource to use 👍
One thing I noticed from this clip: THERE IS NO GRAFFITTI on any of the containers! Is it because they don't stay long enough in one location or what?
Were them tank cars crumpled ???
Any tones do that to me!
37 611 scared me 😨
It definitely got me - Very loud up close! 😜
That Class 20 is a dinky little engine 😊😊😊
Great little locos! Good to see them still out and about 👌👍
Remembering good old childhood days early 80s watching double headed choppers hauling a rake of 50-odd four wheel gravel carts with a brakevan on the back. Them 20’s were anything but dinky up close.
❤
Class 37 jumpscare 👀😭💀💀💀
It felt like 💀 at the time!
1:27
Where this?
It was at Water Orton 👍
Yeah I thought it could be thx 👍
Some of them do it on purpose just to make us react as you did A joke for them but not for us I'm afraid.
Certain mentalities leave a lot to be desired 😮😊
Friendly tip - do not zoom out so far on wide angle when an engine passes, or it will look smaller and less impressive - plus the direction it's going in may be distorted. It's a very common mistake. Let it pass at roughly 1-1 ratio.

Some good spots though!
Grey cloud over the old engines - scares me by pollution. New engines are clearly better in that respect.
Why are the silver tank wagons misshaped and collapsed ..Are they emptied without de preasurissing? .Not a train buff ,please explain
The liquid content of the tanks drains by gravity from the middle of the tanks that's why they are the shape they are.
Yep, he made you jump :)
What app do u use to edit
Mostly iMovie or a couple of Adobe packages. It depends which computer I’m using on the day 👍
