There is a 1 card Lios combo that gets into your alien lock while also providing protection with evolzar lars. You need to run misc and anima in the deck. Line with just 1 Lios (or Fossil Dig/Evo-Diversity): NS Lios, Lios set Singularity, Lios send Misc from deck, Banish Misc to summon Anima from deck, Anima pop Lios to search Nauya, Nauya hand eff to send Keurse from deck to gy, Keurse eff tributing Anima, Keurse summon back Nauya, Nauya search Daybreak, Daybreak tribute Keurse for 4 Tokens, Link 2 tokens into M-frame (you do this first to avoid giving your opponent an upper link arrow for cards like Relinquished Anima), Link the other 2 tokens and Nauya into Zer'oll (Note: Nauya gets banished), Zer'oll search Virus, Daybreak gy eff to put back Nauya into the deck and send megachirella from deck to gy (now singularity is live), Endboard: M-frame, Zer'oll, Virus, Singularity for Lars/Laggia/Dolkka Note: For Lios to get you to Dolkka on your 4th summon during the combo, you need 2 additional bodies on board that are not either lvl 4 or dinosaur. Lios cannot target itself when sending Misc or another copy of itself, since it already fulfills both of these characteristics.
You know with all the cards revealed for Phantom Nightmare I think its a good time to do a set overview of all the cards and how you think the most impactful cards will effect the meta. ALSO, duel terminal world isn't far away, we should be getting the more reveals soon.
Awesome combos, makes me really want to explore evol builds myself now. Between this and memento hopefully being complete soon, I may start playing again.
Also i think bc u rarely need the normal summon i tried to run the new gen the warrior tiger engine and it gives u some handfixing/draw and also tuns on the reptilianne enchidna on turn 1. I also think the new horus enginge rly helps with consictancy and the rank 8 spam works rly good with ne natural rank 8 grind spam from the ogdoadics
I've only been paying master duel with this deck so it doesn't have all of the cards but the combo that I've been using is Your combo>nauya effect add water lily> water lily send aleirtt>aleirtt tribute nauya>overlay keurse and aleirtt to make any rank 8 Depending on circumstance: First turn: summon Amunessia (should be possible if you opened with multiple starters or one snake rain)> rank 8 is the zombie vampire> active the zombie vampire summoning what you think is best> Amunessia triggers summoning what you think is best> if one of those monsters was coatl, synchro into melusine. You might still have plays after that so do what you want. After turn one: link summon echidna>on summon target an attack position monster> rank 8 is 97> 97 summon 100> attack card effected by echidina
I do not think you can do Lios' effect at 12:47 Because it needs to change 2 monsters, Lios is already a level 4 dinosaur. The effect won't go through. That's how the ruling goes I believe, plus this is what I see in simulators. Cool deck though! I like to see more reptiles support ouo
Love it! I've been trying out Condemned Witch to search Forbidden Lance/Droplet as well as Normal Summon monster to protect from Imperm. Love the Evol line, haven't considered it and seems important for Nibiru protection. Would you save Daybreak for turn 2 and just leave the Slicer lock? Also been contemplating trimming the reptile extenders for more generic cards or alternative engine. How necessary do they feel?
You certainly could save daybreak for next turn although idk what else you’d choose to send over nefer. I don’t play many here, but I’ve considered it as well

I here what you’re saying from a ruling standpoint, it just doesn’t make much sense that Konami would design it that way since all of the evol theme is either reptile or Dino and their in theme xyz monsters require dinosaurs to make them. Seems like that wouldn’t make much sense, but hey it’s Konami🤷🏼♂️ I’ll ask the judge at my locals this week to see what he thinks
@@JustNutzProd The point is that you cannot change Lios into a dino lvl 4 because it already has these characteristics to begin with. This is why you would need 2 other monsters on the field (you can change your opponents characteristics as well) if you want to turn something else into a lvl 4 dino. I always thought that the whole evo theme was just an evolution from evoltile to evolsaur to evolzar. So it makes sense that you would need evolsaurs to make evolzars since that is the prior evolutionary stage. So in the evo-theme lios either devolves evolsaurs into evoltiles by sending a reptile (evoltile) to make singularity live if you can get lios to the gy (or have another evolsaur in gy) or evolves evoltiles into evolsaurs to overlay them into their next evolutionary stage (evolzar). So lore wise you cannot evolve or devolve lios into an evolsaur because he already is exactly that.

As far as combos go it just means you gotta have an actual lvl 4(we got a bunch) and you won’t be able to set up dolkka on 5th summon instead of imps
