A thousand thank yous!!! So helpful to see what's inside the books.
Yw! Glad it was helpful!
Easy Grammar Teacher's Editions are meant to be photocopied for the stidents to complete the worksheets. It's not interended for them to complete in the book, next to the answer key.
The first page has a blip about reproduction permission for noncommercial use only.
Just wanted to let you know, even though this video is older, in casw you want to use upper levels later on.
Having said this, I still purchase the Student Workbook because I don't always want to copy stuff. It was worth my time to buy them preprinted, but I'm only using it for my last child. If I were planning to use for multiple children, I'd make copies.
Thank you for a detailed close up of Grade 5. We finished Grade 4, amd I was wondering if Grade 5 would be too redundant or if it builds incrementally enough to warrant using Grade 5 next.
Yw! I hope it was helpful. We’ve been using Easy Grammar of for a few years now. Even with copying permission, I don’t copy it at all. Way too much work. 😂 Like you said The additional cost is worth it.
Brilliant detailed flip through, thank you. I really like how you explain your opinions on how you think about the lay out, and so how it might or might not work in various situations. I am keen to try these Easy Grammar books. I am still considering whether to buy the Daily Grams section too.
Thank you! We are really liking Easy Grammar. Daily Grams is a warm up for Easy Grammar. My daughter has gained a lot of information from doing Daily Grams as well as Easy Grammar but it is definitely not a must have.
Thanks a bunch! I've not nailed down grammar/language for my youngest who is in between 5th/6th so this helps me out.
That’s good to hear! Choosing items can be challenging especially when you can’t put your hands on them.
Would you consider this an open & go book?
This was so helpful! You saved me from hours of trying to figure out what my son needed and what grade level was right for him. It turns out, we just need the Daily Grams teacher book. Thank you!
Yw! I’m so glad it was helpful!! 😃
Great flip through! Thank you.
Yw! 😃
Thank you for the review, we did Fix it Grammar last year, can’t decide if we should continue with it or switch to Easy Grammar. Did u got the chance to use them both ? Do u prefer one over the other?
Yw, I’ve never used Fix It but have seen lots of videos on it. Easy Grammar has more than correcting the sentences and they would do more than one sentence per day. Anywhere from 8-15 activities per page. Not super time consuming but definitely more than one sentence. Hope this’ll was helpful.
Thanks for this flip through. Very helpful.
Yw! I think it’s pretty much open and go once you get the organization of the student book with teachers pages. No prep needed other than that. 😃
Thank you for your thorough review! How do you feel about Easy Grammar now that you’ve been using it for several months?
She still loves it. It’s simple yet gives you what’s needed for grammar. She’s able to do it independently. If she misses problems we go over it together. That doesn’t happen too often. 😃
Very helpful! Thank you!
You're welcome!
No diagraming? Maybe I’m old school lol.
Nope, none 😅 we’ve added in sentence diagramming from the Critical Thinking Company. It’s working well for us.
Do you think this would be easy for someone who is really bad at English to teach?
I do. Easy Grammar does a good job of explaining the grammar concepts but keeping it easy to understand.
@@LifeofTillmansI see you have a video on Winston Grammar too. Which do you like better? I am having a hard time deciding 😩
@@raelenegonzalez1372 what grade is your child? If they struggle with grammar and are in 5th or less I would not do Winston grammar. However if they do well with grammar and are a kinesthetic learned Winston grammar is awesome! It is explained very simply. Easy grammar is great too. I think it really comes down to wanting to use the cards with Winston Grammar or not. Winston is fun.
@@LifeofTillmans thank you so much for answering me! I will have 1 son in 6th and 1 son in 5th when I use either Easy grammar or Winston Grammar. They will both do the same level though. So if I decide to go with EG, I would have them both do grade 5. They are finishing BJU English 4 right now. (We school year round)
I wouldn’t say they struggle with grammar but I wouldn’t say they are strong in it either. I am wanting a change from BJU and to do something that breaks it down to where I can teach it. I love the idea of the cards that come with WG and really like the idea of them just picking a sentence from a book or their own writing and using the cards. I also love what you shared about kids not really being ready for grammar until around 4th grade. I can definitely see that and my boys did struggle to get it when they were younger and I made them do it. But now that you have shared that knowledge, I am not going to make the same mistake with my youngest son. I am going to wait till he is ready. 🙌🏻
Thank you for taking the time to answer these questions and for your great videos!
You’re welcome! ❤️
