Major Mash is an index website that I made that provides information on ACE Credits (Study.com, Sophia, StraighterLine) and schools that accept their credits such as Western Governors University. It has a variety of spreadsheets which shows which ACE Credit Courses will transfer into that degree program. See which courses you need for your major and track your progress easily!

I’m considering this course so excited to see a updated version thank you
Thank you so much for the valuable information. I’m planning on getting my BSBA degree but now I will consider adding on a masters degree in Data Analytics as well.
This video is very helpful! I enjoyed it
I would love to see a WGU Information Technology Degree Walk-through from you!! You are killing it with these video guides 🙏
Thank you, means a lot to me!!
Thanks for sharing. I'm gonna do the degree.
Keep posting we tapped in.
Plan to. Might have some editing soon too instead of just me talking straight. Thanks for tuning in!
Plan to start this degree this year. Graduating with my associates next month and will take all the courses I can before hand to transfer in
You got this!
Got my bachelors from a local college in business information technology
Was considering cyber security, Computer Science, or data analytics masters decided on DA Masters and started this month already almost done with my 2nd class.
Awesome. Update me how difficult you find it and if it’s worth it.
Can we apply master in English speaking country with the bachelor from WGU?
AWS has retired Data Analytics Certificate
Hi Alex. Thanks for the insight. I have an undergrad degree in finance, but find myself working more and more with data. My career background is in business development (consultative sales), but I find myself working more and more with research analyst and instructional designers. Do you think the data analyst master's degree would be realistic seeing that I don't have an IT background? I could get the bachelor's for a solid foundation and then pursue the graduate program. Cost is not an issue, but I would like to finish in a year or less.
Absolutely, I think it’d be a great degree for you! Do some self study first :)
Hey Alex, I was looking out for information about this program and I ended up in this video. I have two questions: (i) Can a foreigner that does NOT live in the US apply to the MsC in Data Analytics? (ii) It is unclear for my if there is any guide to tranfer credits from other courses in order to complete the master in one term and only pay $4k. Thank you!
I don’t believe international students can attend WGU unfortunately. I’m not quite sure I understand the second question.
I’m looking into this degree but in high school I wasn’t the greatest at math the highest I completed was algebra and forgot most of it. I got accepted into wgu because I have an associates of a different major. Do you think I will be okay in the math if I haven’t done it in a long time
You’ll be fine. Do the math courses at one of the ace credit platforms.
what are the ACE credit platforms?
So you can only transfer 90 creds back to WGU? I'm switching from IT to Data Analytics and the left over classes in my term will transfer into my DA Bachelor's. Would it make sense for me to just drop out for some months and work on courses outside of WGU? sorry if my question is confusing.
I personally would if you want to graduate faster. Depends what courses you have left.
That's why he's the MVP
That's why he's the GOAT
THE GOAT!!!
Hey bro quick question: When taking nano degree on udacity does it have to be Data analytics? I was thinking of just taking Data science instead.
Either of the two will work!
@@alexsheppe Thankyou!
I have a bachelors in psychology and and I’m currently getting my MBA but I want a second masters in data analytics from WGU. I don’t have a stem degree how could I qualify for enrollment?
Might need to take a few data and math courses.. if you do them on Study.com, WGU might accept you. You can also try Udacity's Data Analyst Nano Degree.
I’m currently enrolled into the WGU Data analytics bachelors. Would it be overkill to also get a masters in data analytics?
I heard from people that it may be better to pair the DA bachelors with something like the IT Management masters in order to make yourself more marketable.
I do agree that CS or SE bachelors would be better, but not feasible with my time right now, and I’m pretty set on getting into data.
I would just do the Masters and do everything you can to get some kind of data job.
thats crazy did my comment get deleted
Do you have an email for questions dont know why my question getting deleted over and over again
I have not deleted your comment, youtube can be pretty glitchy. You can shoot me an email at alexsheppe@gmail.com

Everything good Kevin?
I've tried posting a comment twice and it seemed like it was being deleted so I was testing whether it would occur again @@alexsheppe
I had posted that I am pursuing my bs in cs and am interested in getting my masters in data analytics. Was wondering if you recommended doing bs in data analytics instead. Although id also consider both bs degrees
Also, I had reviewed the transferable classes and noticed that some of the classes arent being shown as transferable. For example, if i check health, fitness and wellness it doesnt seem to be on the list. Seems a bit concerning. Could you maybe check and confirm if maybe I am making a mistake?@@alexsheppe
I’d recommend the CS degree #1, SE degree #2, DA degree #3, and if you can’t seem to complete any of those, do a Business degree. Then, yes, get the Data Analytics Masters degree on top of it. It will make you very marketable. Also, I don’t delete comments (unless they are using profanity or being toxic). So it must be youtube glitching.
Dude how much does this s*** cost this dude keeps saying degree degree degree. What kind of degree you talking about? There's a whole bunch of them
