Woah......pardon me as a Ghost adventures nerd, but was that an insect or an orb at around 3:44?? FANTASTIC video, thank you! You mentioned nursing and I agree the FNP and others are awesome. If a person is looking for a career change or new career, Respiratory Therapy is a fantastic choice. WGU does not have a degree in this (now they are mostly BA). I have been an RT for over 40 years and the field is great, ESPECIALLY in a smaller hospital if you have experience. They pay a lot more and the work is more satisfying because you can actually be a Therapist based on care rather than volume!! Again, WGU does not have a degree in this, but it is a great consideration, too! RT's with RRT and 10+ years experience can make 140K on the traveling therapist gigs. I also got a bachelor's in Management and am working on my accounting degrees so I have an easier physical degree to do well into my 80's hopefully!

100% agree. With the NBRC leaning towards making Respiratory a Bachelors program a WGU program may not be far off (2030's?). My experience with RT is that its great for more RIGHT brained people, thus a great option for those not cut out for university like i was.

@@alexsheppe 100% this. Foundational CS and IT experience is critical to the effectiveness of cybersecurity personnel. Is it an attack or a misconfiguration? Is it both? The degrees aren’t generally extensive enough to teach these nuances. Entry level government is best bet then get scalped by private industry. Choose what you want but adjust your expectations and understand the most likely path you need to take.

Calculus is not very difficult. I have an engineering degree, and my regular math classes were always the easiest. I took a "statistics for engineers" class and found it harder than any of my calc or differential equations classes. If you do decide to go that route and have trouble with calc (if you have a bad teacher, like me), professor Leonard on youtube is an amazing teacher and his videos follow along perfectly with the classes you'll take in college.
