This channel is still the closest thing to an "at home garage" vibe and I'm here for it. Even with the fancy tools and equipment it feels like something I can do compared to channels with fleets of cars that cost more than I'll make in a lifetime. Can't wait to see this thing rip.
That's why I love the channel, I hate when channels just turn into flex channels. itsjusta6 used to have a nice vibe, now it's just another streespeed717.
the way your builds have evolved in just the past year, even since the eclipse which was already crazy, is insane. this thing is fucking awesome can’t wait to see it fully finished up with the widebody and paint
@@_Gingium_it’s driving but not close to complete. When it’s all painted with custom flares this thing is gonna be one of the most bad ass unique drift truck builds on UA-cam!
Literally just finished the previous episode and was so very hyped for the next one and then it drops right as a finish :D fantastic timing and an awesome set of videos, cant wait to see what the new version of the Drift truck can do!!
The noise the transmission was making at idle was not the throw out bearing unless it’s catching, if it’s making a noise idling without the clutch pressed and then goes away when you press the clutch that’s input shaft bearing in the transmission
I have said this before and I will say it again: *Gingium is the best automotive youtube channel.* Also the drift truck sounds insane. Its reminiscent of GT500 but even crazier.
Holy cow! The drift truck is ripping! Yes! Great work from you, Caleb, and everyone else that helped. It's so cool to see the drift truck come together and even better to see it make the deadline and rip it up on the track.
This is absolutely sick, I love watching this build. It was already awesome back when it was just a standard B2200 with a stock 1UZ, but now it's something else. I would suggest raising your seat up a few inches though, for drifting you really want to have good visibility of the front of your hood.
Hopefully you build wide body fenders and also space the rear wheels to match the front ... all 4 wheels squared out and wider fenders front and rear would really improve the overall look
If you wanna hear the blower inside like on the Hellcats, you gotta run a little 1" sound tube from the intake through the firewall or something of that effect. Not sure, but look it up! There are definitely "how to make your blower louder inside" type videos and forum posts out there!
You'll save yourself a lot of time in bleeding the p/s system if you start with the vehicle off of the ground, engine off, and cycle the steering wheel left lock to right lock about 40 times. You'll likely have to add fluid from time to time throughout that process, but it will get 99% of the air out of the system. If you skip that step and try to bleed it with the engine running, you'll aerate the fluid and fight to get the system bled.
That suspension setup is going to cause you so much grief. Maxed out and still rubbing everywhere...I bet that's gonna come up in the drifting episode. Love the build regardless but damn
When the power steering was acting up in the shop and the wheel was going exorcist😂 I died laughing! I had to watch it like 5 times! "OH GOD WHAT now... bro..." then you back out of the shop, cringe 🤣 and then your crazy ass take it onto the street! "it's riding pretty good! Here's the first bump.. OH GOD!"🤣 This episode was GOLD! Congrats on getting it going in time and just wow that's amazing! Absolutely love it!
I say this about the Drift truck all the time. But GOD DAMN. That thing's sounds like the Truck equivalent of that video of the RX-8 on the dyno losing its damn mind.
Don’t respect many car youtubers because hard work and dedication into what you love will always be better than flashingsome repetetive builds. But you sir have my respect
You have to bleed the power steering. Start the car get the steering wheel one way till lock, hold it there and kill the engine. Hold it for a few sec and start the engine. Do the same left to right and you all set.
Hi Caleb! Drift truck is a pretty damn awesome build! Only thing I don't like is the narrow rear axle. Would look so much cooler if the track width was the same as the front, but then again, that's just me! Cheers. Leigh in Scotland.
Wish I had the knowledge that you have all your builds are amazing used to work at one of the dealerships above your shop! Love the builds keep doing what you’re doing!
the power steering bubbling like that usually means there's a leak air is entering the system you may have inadvertently fixed it when you replaced the pump tho thats why it was kinda better it
Atleast it isn't a daily driver with that exhaust,I had three mufflers on a 3" system, the third (rear one) and last one I fitted was the only one that worked, quality mufflers huh... Chopped the other two out and ran the good one solo...never looked back.
Just found out I failed my third Physics 2 exam, and now I'm here. Highkey feels good to watch one of these videos and ease my internal pain and suffering lol

Wow quite the tight schedule to get all that work done but great to see you got it done! Crazy amount of hours went into this.

I forgot you were going to put a widebody kit on it - that thing will look sick! Amazing truck, amazing channel. Gingium never disappoints.
As a fellow uz owner, my compliments . I plan to supercharge my LS but also do cams , high stall torque converter, lsd, custom headers and tuned

for power steering, u leave the top of the resovior open and turn it lock to lock several times and it'll get any air bubbles out

Gingium quote of the year "it drives pretty smooth too heres the first bump.... oHh"

This build makes me super excited to get my e30 project done with the same quality. Ive creeped and creeped for the turbo, now its turbo time!
probably too late, but you can get 12mm metric lugs for the ford 8.8 rear. i think thats what the 240sx uses
I can’t wait to see it on track! I’ve been keeping tabs on the truck since you started updating it. And it sounds amazing!
blinding every body with the highs, I love it
