Just in case you haven't thought of it, you have a DBW. A twitchy throttle is a matter of tuning, not a fact of life. Increase the amount of pedal% needed for a small throttle opening and your life improves significantly. Also, I'm not sure what size throttle you have but you can put 800hp easy through a 65mm TB. Big TB's aren't a necessity.
@@_Gingium_ you beat me to it ( I had a big turbo prelude that I called the praydude because it was such an rot box ( I had completely stripped for body work before I even came up with its official name but its name was given to it due to fact that I discovered that the car was actually in worst condition than I thought and the previous owner had lied about the car ever being in any type of accident or anything when I actually discovered that an tree had fallen on the roof of the car and was not reported to the insurance company and instead the damage was bondoed over and I also discovered that the vehicle had been rotted so bad that it wasn’t worth restoring so I I cut out the entire roof “ making the sunroof an moonroof, I completely gutted it , made a totally non functional rollcage out of 1 1/2” black gas pipe , took the doors off, kicked out the windshields and windows and replaced them with clear lexan , and I drove it back and forth every day to vocational school for a year and a half just to because I knew that nobody would steal it when I was in class because it was always at my shops door and they would never be able to get it started with out me hearing the entire parking lots alarms go off 😂

Would love to see you fabricate a custom body for the truck. Having the raw kart makes for a great starting template for something truly unique to your channel!
ALWAYS cross straps on the wheels that have traction/are on the dyno, that way it'll prevent sliding. So if your car is AWD you'll want both front and rear to have straps crossed, RWD you'll just need the rear, and then for FWD, well it's self explanatory. Sometimes you'll be just fine how they are now, but depending on how they're anchored, the strap might want to go a certain direction.

We all know he didn’t wanna hose up the exhaust on purpose If he can run the hose behind the vehicle/dyno, he should also be able to run it UNDER the vehicle and onto the side exhaust.l He just wanted to hear the supercharged 1uz glory, and share it with us Also out of pure coincidence right when he said that’s the car on monoxide alarm, my video froze For a second I was like…”that’s it? He set the alarm off and that’s where they all died and the video stopped? Is this like the ending from the Sopranos?” Then after like 30 seconds of buffering it continued playing…. I was like “Oh, nah they’re good. 👍 ”
It has a silly “wheel horsepower” calculator thing it tries to use even though it’s already measuring wheel horsepower. It’s kinda a wack software, but it’s cheap so 🤷♂️

I say take the truck to the track as it sits, gives you a chance to see any weak points you might have and easily modify if needed without it being FULLY finished
@Micahvsmith1 it has almost all the same identical setup to his accord. Bc coilovers ,hybrid racing shifter Clutchmasters fx350 kit lightweight flywheel, federal fz201 tires track brake setup. I have a p2r adapter kit for holley efi manifold , ms3pro mini ecu and a few other things waiting to going in when I get a supercharger and fuel system. That's why I've been trying to race @Gingium before he goes turbo cause I don't have the fuel system or s/c yet. lol
I would definitely finish the wiring and put all the panels on and button everything up because it's probably going to be a totally different feel from being all that weight off of it to putting all that weight on. Awesome build great job 👍🙏
I love the 1uz but money spent for these horsepower results is what ultimately made me look at other options a junkyard vortec will pull these numbers with simple bolt ons
You need to do a once-over on the steering. Make sure there's no possible way for that to go wrong. I think you need to drill a hole through the shaft for those screws to got into, so they can't back out.
For those of us that doesn't follow every video, could you include a bit more information about the setup when presenting dyno numbers? I would love to know what's done to the blower and such.

The moment you realise the dyno is just in the middle of a room with no windows… You know most dynos are at a garage door or ventilated room for a reason

Arent you supposed to do dyno pulls in 4th for the 1 to 1 ratio for accurate results? I always thought that the gear multiplication of third make the dyno think it makes more power.
i still die on the hill that this would be a good roll/dig car as well it weighs nothing and made what 374hp thats movin for a lil ass truck. you dont gotta fight God to have fun in roll or drag racing

Nah, the truck is cool. Just needs bodywork and paint (maybe a livery).

Go to the track as is, if anything goes wrong or needs to be replaced or inspected, itl be a lot easier to do so without the panels being in the way.

Why does the monitor he has for the dyno when he does the pull say like 500 horsepower yet when they finish it was only 348?

For a small diameter throttle blade... that throttle body is massive! 😅
