make the hydro tighter, will be much easier if you don't have to pull so far
first thing i noticed was the length of pull!
try keep on throttle when you handbrake. so the rpms dont die. but your doing great. it sounds mean.
Sandwich all day
Separate bagel for sitting, sandwich bagel for on the go
Separate for sitting, sandwich for drifting
This is the way
This is the way
Separate for cream cheese, egg n cheese make it a sandwich. Drift? Who cares that s#%* was awesome! Thanks, Gingium!
Dude I’m so proud of you! I can’t believe I’ve been following since you were at your parents house. Boy time flies! You have come soooo far and grown so much. Keep grinding, growing and please remain the Caleb we all aspire to meet and appreciate. Much love man you’re awesome!!!👏
Seeing the driveshaft just pause through the hole in the bed is nuts. Would love to see some sweet angles of that! So proud of you dude, crazy how far you've taken this truck!
Something to consider is staying partially throttled and using the brakes to slow the front end down and which will make the rear end rotate faster then if you were just mashed, allowing to get through that corner you struggled. Front brakes are just as useful as the hand brake when drifting. Research some left foot braking drift techniques. Or just get a damn SIM. You have a gaming rig already. You don't need the best of the best. Just belt drive wheel with a sturdy base is what should be your main concern. Keep it up. Been following since v1 rally miata and Forza days. Cool seeing how much you improve each time you try literally anything. Very inspiring.
The problem is that I can’t left foot brake with this pedal box… 🙃
@@_Gingium_ A new trend in drift cars is putting front brakes on your handbrake. Set it up so push forward is front and pull back is rears. People say it's actually pretty easy to get used to. You would need to move where you currently have it located but something to look into. Also I feel like you need to pull yours really far, maybe needs to be bled better?
@@_Gingium_ I'm sure it can be done, but may require thinner driving shoes and a bit of practice. You may need to turn your foot and almost push on the side of the pedal rather than on the face.
Looks like far too much movement on the hydro brake. It’s moving over a foot. Not good
@gingium great job man proud of you lol... would it help if the throw on the E-brake was shorter might save some time in transitions? Help you get that quick snap ✌️
After the disastrous beginning of this year, it is so heartwarming to see you finally get rewarded for all the hard work on this project honestly. This video made my day, luv ya
It's wild to watch him learn and understand his new truck that he built. Super happy to see this big sucess happen and can't wait to see where this goes next. Amazing job on this project, like usual, keep it going!
Drift truck is an inspiration to all us gearheads this thing is what I want my 1991 isuzu pickup to be but with a turbo k series 😂 great job Caleb 👍
Yessss Drift Truck the world!
Hey do you have IG? i also have an isuzu
@@joaolisboa7775 yeah @ant30m
I feel like with the torque that makes you should stick it into 3rd right off the bat and just work the clutch and left foot brake the rest 😂 holy hell that thing just screams to limiter so fast man! 👏
Mad ups to the drone pilot! They were just ON the whole time. Looks like a blast - proud to see what you've done with this truck!!!
This video is awesome. Like 25 minutes of pure hype-tunnel. To watch every episode of this build and finally see it sideways, was amazing. The truck looks awesome, sounds INCREDIBLE, and the drifting shots were just icing on the cake. Glad it all payed off in the end.
my god, that supercharger sounds epic! i'm so glad you finished it in time Caleb. I appreciate your work!
Gosh i swear thr best thing ever is cars and camping, love doing this sort of stuff wish i could do it more often
So happy seeing it all just work. While winter is coming, maybe a trip to LZ compound to get some more time behind the wheel?
I've been watching since idk when but I have seen this build from start to finish and this video has been making me giggle like a child. Just hearing the supercharger whine with the already crazy sounding 1uz makes me happy let alone the fact that the truck is drifting like butter. Absolutely fantastic work.
A 95 to 2000 Chevy S10 drift truck would be a really cool and awesome truck for you to build for Keegan man . I've always wanted a Mazda B2200 mini truck so your pick of truck is CHEFS KISS tho Caleb !
That fotage of the drive shaft turning when drifting 🤤🤤🤤
Engine performance is impressive! I have a 2Uz in my 4Runner, so This boosts my confidence even more that it's bullet proof! You and your buddies did an awesome job of "build".
Dude I'm so happy that the drift truck is finished and RIPPING, been here since drift truck V1 and will continue to be here to see the next rendition of the drift truck or whatever project you start!!!!
So glad to see the drift truck back in action! That first run in 3rd gear was amazing, superchargers don’t like sitting on limiter and if you’re hitting limiter you can always grab the next gear and use some torque! Don’t want to mention names but another UA-camr made a v8 drift car and blew up a crate engine in one event because he constantly banged on rev limiter rather than being a man and grabbing the next gear!
Toyota likes rev limiter
@@joaolisboa7775 and superchargers do not they stall and then spin up quickly causing huge boost spikes
This is what keeps Minitruckin and builds alive!✊🏾💪🏾
Absolutely blown away by how far this truck has come. I remember you dealing with wheel hop way back when. Crazy how good this thing turned out, and can't wait to see how much better it will be! I like the idea for the look, clean and understated (as clean as you can get with half your roll cage sticking out the back)
When I first started watching "some ginger kid" put a duck tail spoiler on his n/a mx5 in his parents garage I did not know the content would turn into this. It's been a wild ride watching this channel evolve
Gingium is the only car channel i have continued to watch after all these years i fell off with all the other but this guy makes me proud like hes a close friend
It's been awesome to see this second stage come together
I didn't build the thing so I'm ignorant to some details, but it was funny seeing the crazy travel every time you rip the handbrake
Congrats, and I hope to get a ride along one day
Was sick seeing this thing rip in person! Had fun spotting me and my friends in the background lol
Genuinely so hyped that everything went well! Love how the truck is rippin'
Tip for doing bolt checks
Have a paint pen handy, and mark a line from the nut to the surface it's on once it's torqued
Least then once you've torque checked the bolt, you mark it, and it's then easy to spot if a bolt's been missed or not.
That supercharger is a paid actor. It was doing an amazing job! I can't wait to see Dyno graphs!
I’ve been watching you since the Forza 6 days and it’s amazing how much you’ve improved in your fabrication and your driving abilities. Side note, I think a light bar would look sick on the drift truck when you’re drifting at night
Love watching the drift truck series! stoked to finally see drift truck V2 ripping
A dual exhaust that come out the beside one pipe on each side of the truck would look wicked. You could do an c pipe and mufflers with much struggle
My god that front wheel cam with the supercharger whine was amazing!
This is absolutely insane. I love this channel
Congratz man! That was pretty epic. So good to see you actually use the car. So many other content creators just build and you dont really get to see them driving and enjoying their builds. Keep up the good work, loving every video 👊
Damn watching this i remembered how you used to go 'drifting' with the RX7. You've come long way man! Thanks for the ride along!
Awesome build, man. been watching you build this truck from the beginning. It's come a long way!!! Can't wait to see how far it gets next year!!❤
This thing is fucking sick, loved seeing the cantilever suspension working like a charm and the HUGE clouds of smoke. Can't wait to see the next event 🔥
Bro watching that rear suspension work is f**king art! Be proud!
So good to see ya get this puppy finally done and ripping, hats off, been a great journey. Thanks.
Very well done! Congratulations 🎉
You're driving skills look incredible. The night drifting looked so awesome. Can't wait to see this truck finished.
WOW you really pulled this off and I love it. Sometimes, you can do everything right and just have bad luck. The stars aligned for you on this one! And all that hard work paid off. I absolutely love this build and can't wait to see it develop further.
been following this build and couldnt wait for this video!
seeing the cantilever suspension working in the bed camera angle is so cool
20:31 it feels nice seeing my galant back there lol
Been watching for many years and it is just insane to see how far you progressed in fabricating and in drifting. Truck turned out amazing dude!
The fact that u build that thing to drive it like that 👍 in my book
Hell yeah man! So glad I've been keeping up with this build. Can't wait to see this thing sliding once it's fully tuned.
Great to see it did well without any major issues! You did great too especially considering it's been a while since you been to any drift event with it. I imagine it's tricky when you don't really have a way to practice ahead of time.
So happy for you bro. Gingium puts in all the work
Once that thing gets some rear grip it will be a monster. Maybe a gearing change can be benifitial too because that is a lot of rev limiter for looking like you are on ice. That 3rd gear run looked like the truck was in a happier place though. Looking forward to the development of this thing and seeing the progress improve even more. I wouldn't worry too much about the fenders 4wd or 2wd. Go grab some spray foam and build some sick 1 off fenders and fiberglass over them. It will look so sick because the front wheel poke this thing has is quite aggressive.
I can believe it, but also! How tf did you practically build this car from scratch and it work so damn good without barely any testing! You are insane my guy.
This truck came out sick! You could make a custom topper for the truck as well, I think that’d be a pretty sweet addition and have the added functionality of storage
Hearing the supercharger whine and seeing the inboard suspension working is so cool!
Awesome video! You can also get some dye penetrant test bottles for cheap that you can use to test welds like the one on your valve cover that was leaking so you can find those leaks when you’re welding it the first time. Or if you build enough positive pressure in your valve cover you can spray soapy water on the weld and a leak will bubble.
well done on making the event and always awesome to watch your videos
Drift truck is making some sauce baby! so happy to see this thing ripping, can't wait to bang doors next summer!
What a legend! I think I speak for many of us when I say, WE ARE PROUD OF YOU BUD! Well done on yet another successful build.
May God bless you with the views and the support that this channel truly deserves!
All that hard work paying off! 💪
I wonder if those fiberglass desert runner fenders would work. The ones that have the +4 in flare.
Well done bro, this is beautiful!
It blows my mind how reliable that truck was especially for SUCH a fresh build! Definitly my favourite build on youtube
The truck just drifts so much smoother
keep it going bro your doing good for being the person i used to watch doing wheelies on forza to drifting IRL good job keep up the good work.
Dude, that monster looks good sliding. Nice work
You should make the outside roll bars white aswell, would look so clean with the wheels and the roll bars inside!
Awesome! Blower sounds sick.
Super impressive, love watching your builds! Great job!
bro you've been grinding these vids out!! good shit man
caleb its great to see you out having fun with your toys! excellent job on this vs that as well, keep doing what you do sir
These last few vids were so sick!!!
I cannot believe how well this truck did being COMPLETELY untested. Great job on this build Caleb 💪🏼🤘🏼
Ginge living his best life 😊congratulations mate, really enjoyed it
Sandwich with cream cheese and bacon. Also great video lol, loving the truck.
so sick seeing this project finally ripping!!
Wow that thing sounds like it absolutely eats. I cant imagine what it must sound like in person. You can tell the charger really woke that UZ up.
So hyped to finally see the finished product of this build! I always wanted to get an s10 drift build after owning my 4wd s10 for so many years! One thing I would look into is getting a shorter throw on your hydro. Seems a little long to me😂 although don’t go too far. My drift e36 has like no pull on the handbrake but hey, at least it works😂
I'm bummed cause this only has 50k views after 1 day when everyone was waiting for the build to hit the track for a while. Yall need to come back to support him
Sounds rowdy well done.
The drift truck camera angles went hard af
My dad had a 1992 B2600i when I was a kid. I remember him pulling a 3,800 pound pontoon boat home 118 miles on back roads because there wasn’t a chance it was doing above 45mph with that 5 speed.
12:40 The supercharger had me dead lol "aaahhhh aaaaaaaahhhhh aaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhh"
Damn man awesome job on that thing... loved it when you first built it... v2.. wow... gongrats... truck looks awesome!!
Awesome Caleb 🎉.. good show
I so love this build. And seeing it drift has given me more motivation to finish my build which happens to be this exact build. Maybe not to do much extent but not far from it. And guess who inspired me to do my build😏
Sick ass truck and congratulations
With all the hard times you’ve been able to chug through, this was 100% the best payoff you could ask for. This thing ripped all weekend and made for an awesome experience. Looking forward to more drift truck content!
damnnn im so stoked and happy for you! love the build man
Keep up the good work man. You have a great mind
i would love to see you in collaboration with Evan Shanks, he have awesome drift cars. I would watch that content all day long.
I wanna see them drone shots! That drone pilot is pretty good!
So happy for you, greetings from Sweden 👊🏻😎
I love the back to back videos
Love seeing drift in person
Definitely loctite all moving nuts and bolts!
The wrist flick though! hand it down! 🤩
SO PROUD OF YOU GETTING IT UP AND RUNNING. Although you are using the handbrake wayy too much, you can actually go through alot of tracks without the e-brake, i would love to see you progress without using the e-brake
The progress in driving from start to finish at this event is massive, congrats dude ur killing it
Insanely good performance from the drift truck and you !! 🚛🚛🚛🚛🚛
