- It's the first time I travelled to China and I started my trip in Chinas capital Beijing. In today's video we will explore Beijings most iconic landmarks such as the forbidden city and the temple of heaven and learn a lot about Chinese culture and history.
While I expected Beijing to be crowded, noisy and full of pollution I was surprised to find a city that was not at all as I had expected it to be. But see for yourself what it's really like to explore Beijing!

Wow, the Forbidden City is huge and impressive, I loved every detail of the place and I also thought that Beijing was super noisy and chaotic, but I was surprised by the tranquility and the pollution has improved a lot.
Yes, the Forbidden City is a beautiful place and full of history! It was so much fun to discover all areas 🤩
每年冬天还是会出现几天雾霾天气，有的时候还会影响到上海，但比起二十年前，几乎可以忽略不计了

Hi Alina, I see China in a different way now , It looks very cold though, I love how you used the classic Aussie saying "No Worries" lol.......... excellent work as always.
It was freezing in Beijing 😅 And of course I was outside all day long so it felt even more intense. But despite the cold it was so much fun to explore the city.
I must have picked up the “no worries” from one of my Aussie friends 😁 I think I use it a lot 😅

You must've visited Beijing during the Spring Festival, when most of the non-residents return to their hometowns for family reunions. That is why it's less crowded and less noisy. Less people = less pollution. Also, the air is usually clearer in the wintertime.
No, I didn’t visit during the Spring festival. I was there in December, just a few days before Christmas 😉

You can't expect all the working class to be sweeping the streets of Beijing. Of course, the Chinese people work in their offices and respective working places. Duh.

Beijing is super disappointing now. It used to be a cool place full of travelers from all around the globe. Now it's dull and boring and the most epic international hangouts like Wangfujing are dead. Sad.

That hat should cost you no more than 50 CNY even in BeiJing, maybe 30 online. Just be careful at any touristy place, start your bargain with cutting a 0 behind the price.
