- We spend today visiting the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China, a great day trip from Beijing.

After getting up really early and having breakfast at the Club Lounge at our hotel, the Renaissance Beijing Wangfujing Hotel we catch the subway to Dongzhimen Subway Station where we meet our guide from Mubus who will take us to the Great Wall of China.
Mubus is a cost effective way of visiting the Great Wall, they take care of the transport and also offer tickets at cost price.
It took about an hour and a half to arrive at the Mutianyu section of the Great Wall of China and then we caught the cable car to the top.
Once on the Great Wall of China we walked all the way to watch tower number 20 before coming back down. In total we spent a good couple of hours on the Great Wall of China and it was a great experience.
We got a buffet lunch at the Mubus Family centre in Mutianyu Village before getting their bus back to Beijing.
In Beijing we go shopping on Wangfujing Street and get some food in Qianmen Street before stocking up on supplies for our train journey tomorrow at Walmart.

It's not only edible, but also tasty in the sense it diminishes a bit the sweetness of sugar coat outside the fruit. This is like adding another layer of flavor for the Tanghulu. 😄

The transparent film on the outside of tanghulu sometimes looks like paper, but it is actually edible rice paper. This kind of rice paper is safe to eat and is usually used to prevent the tanghulu from sticking to your hands while keeping the sugar coating intact.
So, if the "paper" on the outside of the tanghulu is rice paper, you can safely eat it. If you are unsure, you can ask the vendor or carefully observe it. Generally, rice paper is quite thin and dissolves easily in your mouth.

48:53 the thin cover layer is not plastic, that's made from(of) glutenious rice. So don't worry it may cause health issue
glutinous rice paper can be eaten, and commonly used on candy to protect candy from its wrapping paper. (A thin film made from starch. It can be used to package candy, Dim sum or medicines, and can be moisture-proof.)

其实对于北京人，慕田峪并没有是外国人去的称号，八达岭也没有中国人的称号。 通常只是知道八达岭人气更大，慕田峪人流量少一些但风景更漂亮一些。

With so many visitors come everyday, the floor is so clean! There is no rubbish anywhere!

40:11 Suitcase takes up a lot of inventory and display space. So in a city whose real estate price is sky high you would expect to find expensive suitcase in downtown department store. People in China usually buy these things in suburb market or online for as little as 10quid for an 20inch suitcase.

Checking your video, I think you went to Beijing in early spring when the weather is rather smoggy or foggy. In my opinion the best time to visit Beijing is either in late spring/early summer or around mid autumn. At those times the weather is generally sunny and is neither hot nor cold.
